How Clayton started the zombie apocalypse
We’ve started a game of DnD set in the ancient city Londinium, and so far it’s going...not great for our poor characters.
So far we’ve fought crocodiles, failed to stop a huge fire and a plague, and Clayton (my character) single-handedly started the zombie apocalypse...
We follow the characters Clayton (basically a doctor modified from the cleric class) and Trudy, the tinkerer/gunslinger. They have set up their shops after Clayton arrived from abroad and Trudy lost her workshop when her father died, in Trudy’s old workshop. The shops are now called Clayton’s Clinic and Trudy’s Trinkets.
Their first adventure they met “a huge frog-like thing with a long snout and many sharp teeth”. Players: “Crocodile!!” Characters: “Dragon!!!”. We defeat the “dragon”.
Later, there is a fire which consumes 1/3 of the city. Clayton is there to take care of the people who’ve been injured, but nothing can be done to save that part of the city.
As a result, there are many people have been driven from their homes, and then a sickness starts to spread. It stats with a boy who knocks at Clayton’s door at night. His family is sick and Clayton can’t save them. More and more people get sick and die, and soon another 1/3 of the city is dead or dying in this desease. It is, however, contained to one part of the city, and that part is later sealed off by the authorities.
By the time Clayton and Trudy investigates it is too late to save anyone in that part of the city.
--
That part of the city is still closed off, and Clayton and Trudy have heard about soldiers being sent into the zone and not coming back out. They decide to investigate. Are people still sick? Are they all dead? What’s going on?
They sneak over the barricade in the dead of night, and arrive in a ghost town. It’s very quiet and empty, but after a while they hear footsteps. They hide in an alley and see a woman and a group of soldiers. The woman vomits in a soldier’s face and is then shot. The soldiers back away from the soldier who’s been vomited on, and then they shoot him dead too.
After the soldiers leave, Trudy and Clayton investigate the bodies. The woman has black goo around the mouth, and Clayton puts some of it in a vial to study. Clayton sees an NPC and shouts for him (Trudy goes further into her alley and silently curses at Clayton). The NPC tells him that people are getting sick and getting aggressive. Their eyes get bloodshot and they try to attack people. Alarmed, Clayton realises that this is something seperate from the plague, but he tries to find a natural scientific explanation for it (so far unsuccessfully).
The NPC goes away (Clayton convinced him that he was trapped on the inside too, but had had a large food-supply). Trudy berates Clayton for his stupidity in talking to potentially sick and dangerous people.
So, naturally, when they see a crying five-year-old girl, Clayton instantly approaches her and comforts her. (I the player know that this is probably a B A D idea, but I rolled for Clayton’s resolve... Nat1). Clayton and Trudy call off their search for clues to take the girl, Mira, away from the zone.
On the way out they meet an infected person, and a bettle ensues, in which Clayton is useless and Trudy is badass. Trudy kills the infected man, but the gunshots were loud and now they’re being chased. They hurry back to the place where they went over the barricade last time, where Trudy attached a rope, so they’d be able to get out (it’s much easier to get in than out).
They get out without problems, and get Mira out, but as they run away from the barricade Mira begins to squirm in Clayton’s arms. Naturally, she has been infected and vomits into Clayton’s face, who instinctively releases her. Mira runs away in another direction, and Clayton has now started the zombie apocalypse in the remaining 1/3 of Londinium.
Oops...

Forbidden arts
The campaign is set in a world where magic is forbidden, and the party is supposed to stop a cult who uses the forbidden magic
Tiefling, Adenniki, and Elf, Eiron, both have innate magic, and as such don’t support magic being forbidden, but human fighter, Katarina, hates magic with a passion, and has no idea that her travelling companions are magic-users.
In a dungeon, we find the cult’s secret stash of magic texts. Katarina walks into the room followed by Eiron and Adenniki and sees that it’s “tainted” by magic texts, and proceeds to investigate other things and quickly exit the room.
Katarina: It’s filled with filthy magic things. We should leave so we don’t get tainted. *Starts walking away*
Adenniki: *Looks at Eiron*
Eiron: *Looks at Adenniki*
Adenniki and Eiron: *Proceed to stuff their bags full of magical texts while Katarina is looking the other way*

Not a palette, but I bought this set for my half-elf rogue, Adea, who is a chaotic evil bandit.
I want to see your dice palettes
Do you have your own dice palette for your character? If not, do you have a dice set for your character? :^)

What do you mean that when your character is falling to her (what you think) certain death isn't the time to correct the DM's grammar?

Bashag, Adea and Nola arrive just outside the capital. Six people in blue capes attack the party. Overhead, dragons are circulating and in the middle of the fight one swoops down and grabs two of the Blue Capes. Party is confused but slightly relieved...until another dragon swoops down to grab the last standing Blue Cape and Adea. Bashag and Nola can do nothing as Adea struggles to escape the dragon's grip and then stabs it with her dagger. In the meantime, Bashag and Nola realise that they have to smash some of the egg-like things that we've taken, and that sets off a bunch of rewards for Bashag and Nola.
So, while the rest of the party gained some super useful gear Adea was clinging on to a dragon's leg for dear life, hoping she wouldn't fall and kept stabbing it in the claw that was holding her.
As the dragon (after SEVEN ROUNDS) managed to shake her loose and she fell towards the ground, another dragon picked her up and flew her to a tower in the capital without harming her (which was apparently the plan all along).
So conclusion: Adea is still alive and the DM scared the everloving shit out of me.

Adea the Half-Elf Bandit Rogue. She’s been part of Bashag’s Bandit gang since she was nine and has killed for them for almost as long. She’s about as nice as she looks.

Can you fucking swim?
NPC Charlie is in a room locked from the inside on an enemy ship that we've just attacked. Perceval tells another NPC to tell him to come out.
Unnamed NPC: Eh, Charlie? Do you mind opening the door?
Charlie: Yes...
~~Some discussion later~~
Perceval: We will sink this fucking ship if you don't open the fucking door!
Charlie: I can swim!
Perceval: *starts chopping down the door and finally reaches into the room through a hole he made*
Perceval, ooc: I shoot Charlie.
Perceval: *rolls a nat20*
DM: You hit Charlie in the leg and he's losing blood swiftly. He is dying.
Perceval: Can you fucking swim now?!
