I’ve been drawing Raggedies lately ⭐️🩷🩷🌼🌼⭐️

I have so many animatic audios piled up that I want to use 4 raggedy Ann characters, but I still never tried drawing any1 else other than her

Basically this is a T-shirt design I made based off the Beam of Light song by Worthikids

I also made another design based on his Sink Your Teeth In The Apple song but im having trouble designing the font for it, I’ll show that in a later post

I really enjoyed listening to his music the past couple of years and thought it would be great to have a music shirt of his so I made one myself

The process went from whiteboard doodle to charcoal sketch to block to the shirt

Hopefully I get better at printing cuz I have more ideas for shirt designs with another one of his songs and another w/ the wicked Zoga

I was doodling Big J from that Worthikids video cuz I realized I haven’t drawn in a bit & wanted to get back in touch with that creative side of myself again… AND OMG I’m actually so happy how that one expression turned out

I think I finally got into a zone n everything for a sec so im rlly glad i tried evn though I thought it wouldn’t turn out right

I might try drawing her again soon bc if I get it right n take my time I think it would be worth it to see her with more expressions and more life since we only really see her for 2 min in the video

Ik ragtime piano is her thing but I feel like Ann’s personality would definitely feel a lot of comfort with folk rock because of the moods the acoustic guitar gives. Idk something soft n’ upbeat like Melanie Safka because I think she would like her singing, & cuz 1977 raggedy Ann (voiced by Didi Conn) shares a similar accent to Melanie Safka.

I also think she would be into some shoe gaze music too like Rumskib, cuz of how angelic Keith & Tine Louise sing, along with the absolute dreamy way the songs are composed.

And u know what she probably likes Adrianne Lenker too

OMG BUT DONT GET ME STARTED ON ICHIKO AOBA or 40’S BLUES. I genuinely think she would enjoy these but try to be open to other music too and would actually listen to the song recommendations Andy gives her
