TOCAIMA A QUIET PLACE TO BE WITH THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE

Tocaima is a Colombian municipality in the department of Cundinamarca located in the Alto Magdalena Province. It is located 102 km southwest of Bogotá, and at an altitude of 400 ms. n. m. The annual average temperature is 27 ° C. Every beginning of the year in January my parents like to go out somewhere either far or near, five years ago my parents decided that we would go aimlessly so we took the road somewhere, we went with my sisters and my parents. We drove several hours by car until we reached a condominium that at the moment I do not remember the name. I only remember that there was a sign that said "here if there is water" my parents decided to go inside to look at the place, when we entered it was a residential complex which until now was starting construction and there were lots for sale. The owner of this place is a very kind elderly man named Guillermo. He had a wife who suffered from Alzheimer's disease. I do not remember what her name was, but she was a very dear woman, unfortunately she passed away at the end of last year. In this place my parents decided to buy a lot since it is a very quiet place, full of nature, it is close to a river, it also has a communal pool which is always unoccupied since each house has its own pool. We have not yet started construction on the lot, so every time we go we use the pool, sometimes we camp and sometimes we stay in a hotel in the center of town. This place my family and I love because we can be calm, enjoy a different environment, it is a very large place so you can hike, it is something beautiful to see the sunset and sunrise from the pool, feel the breeze is something refreshing because it is very hot there. The town is a small place, but you can find the necessary things like drugstores, bakeries, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, among others. The complex is surrounded by mountains, trees and for this reason many extraordinary animals and insects are seen. Also, this place is perfect to take the pets for a walk. We have 2 dogs and they are happy in this place because they can run and enjoy a different environment from the house, they are long-haired animals so you have to cut them before going travel.
