@dexminho
As a couple exited the bar, TaeHyung silently entered. Despite the time of the night, more peopled continued to join in the thriving party of life inside the building after TaeHyung’s entrance, adding to the noise trapped inside. He had had a rough day with his spontaneous visit to his family after a month of no contact. It hadn’t ended as nice as he would have liked and the bar was the one place he could go to take a breather without anyone breathing down his back. Not only that, its purpose also served as protection to him because with the amount of people around, no one would really be able to pull anything.
Making his way through the clumps of people, he reached the bar counter. As he tried to slip past another group of people, he was pushed back by a stranger, ramming into another already seated on the stools. “Sorry,” TaeHyung gruffly apologized to the man he had hit before finding an open stool on the far end of the counter.
He quickly made his order before finally exhaling deeply. He was finally alone with no one to bother him. When the bartender came back, asking for his ID, he easily slipped his card from his wallet, handing it to the worker. And as always, he simply toyed with the man’s vision as he tried to verify TaeHyung’s age. After a moment of staring at the ID, he lightly shrugged before handing the card back to TaeHyung, returning to his work.
At least one good thing had come out of today. On his way to the bar, TaeHyung had been pulled aside by a deity who owed him a debt. They had managed to snatch the necklace that TaeHyung would be using to get a favor from one of the wife of a business man, still in the process of deciding whether to partner up with his father’s company or not. By sneaking this on the side, there was no way TaeHyung wouldn’t be able to get a little more than planned.
Rummaging through his pocket, TaeHyung pulled out his wallet and a few slips of paper before realizing that the necklace was missing.

TaeHyung’s smile only widened at the other’s reaction, with a hint of exhaustion. But the woman’s reaction so much better than what he had been expecting, hiding his fatigue. If he was normal, he would have felt bad for choosing her as his target, but he wasn’t. In all honesty, it was the best thing that had happened to him all week.
“A fantastic one, although it’s not much of a joke considering how real it is right now,” TaeHyung chuckled, lifting his right hand and shaking it, watching as the woman’s hand limply followed suit. “And, about that... hm, can’t really.”
He tried to etch the expression, at that moment, of her face into his mind for keepsake since it was too precious of a memory to lose. How had he even gotten his hands on a pair of handcuffs? Easy. He was Kim TaeHyung, and being Kim TaeHyung, there was always something going on.
He was up to his usual business, tossing a few delinquents around in the back of an alleyway when an officer caught sight of them. Somehow, he had been the one to get caught in the mess though, one of the kid’s sacking him in the face while he turned to take a glance at the officer approaching them. As his face was shoved into the ground, the officer managed to snap one side of the cuffs around his hand before TaeHyung decided to fight back. A smirk toyed on his lips as he grabbed the officer’s wrist, twisting it with the help of the shadows that had crept onto the both of their bodies, shielding them from the sight of those passing by the mouth of the alleyway.
Of course, TaeHyung had knocked the officer out cold, grabbing the key from his chain before running off. He had received plenty of looks from strangers as he strayed around, showing it off like a trophy. Before he got to actually taking the cuffs off though, he caught sight of a woman he had seen enter the bar as he cornered the kids into the alley. And before either of them really knew it, TaeHyung had cuffed her to him.
“You see,” TaeHyung smiled as he dropped his arm back to his side, enjoying the new weight attached to his side. “I had the key, and now I don’t. But what does that all matter, right? And it’s not very fun being stuck by yourself you know? You seem like a decent enough person, don’t you agree?”

deception [ th & ty ]
@taeyeonxde
TaeHyung fixed the cap on his head, turning it back to reveal his face as he slipped through the door into the bar. It was already crowded with people, filling up all the usual corners TaeHyung would slouch to, despite the sun barely beginning to set. A part of him wondered if the deity actually enjoyed being in the presence of other humans, or if they were simply plotting to start trouble. His eyes darted between the people as he tried to pick out the humans and deities apart while taking his time to find a place to settle in.
A minor deity he had run into had passed word about the appearance of a new deity, and being Kim TaeHyung, he wasn’t going to pass up the chance to meet this new deity. Especially not if he had a chance of making sure they weren’t a threat, possibly kicking his ass in the future if he pissed them off somehow. So without any hesitation, he immediately made his way over to the bar that the other had directed him to.
So far, no one looked particularly interesting or suspicious. Except for the blonde sitting alone at the counter, playing with a drink in her hands. Even as TaeHyung made his way over, nothing felt special about her. Nothing different. But who was he to judge.
“Just a water,” TaeHyung gave a quick polite smile to the bartender as he took the empty stool next to the proclaimed deity. “So,what do I owe to deserve the name of this pretty lady?” TaeHyung asked, flashing a boyish smirk as he gave her an obvious once over. As playful as it was though, it was more to determine the amount of strength she had because if there was one thing TaeHyung ever learned when meeting new deities, it was to not underestimate them.

visions [ th & cy ]
@dexchanyeol
It was that time of the month again. As much as TaeHyung didn’t enjoy it, he had to say, seeing that Park psychologist was actually working out for him. He didn’t understand why or how, but it was helping TaeHyung control all of those crappy dreams he was having ever since he found out who he really was.
His grandmother called them nightmares, and he simply agreed because there was no way he would ever be able to explain to her that he was the reincarnation of Erebus, Lord of Darkness. At least not his human side. Despite his memories from his life as a god coming back to him in his sleep in the form of dreams, he still had his human memories that made him human.
The dreams weren’t nightmares, in fact they were little but. They were simply reminders of who TaeHyung really was. Right off the bat, TaeHyung despised them. He couldn’t hate them because they were the memories of himself, but he didn’t want to be seeing memories of himself. He found it extremely troubling and disturbing to continuously have dreams where he would be watching the souls of the newly dead travel to the underworld. It was a place void of emotion and feelings, and as horrible as a person as TaeHyung might have been, even he couldn’t bring himself to enjoy that. At the least, it worried him because the mornings that he would awake from those dreams, he would find himself feeling empty. He wouldn’t have any emotions for hours at a time and it kept him from his real clear conscious.
When his grandmother learned of his nightmares, she went around asking for help and was directed to a psychologist named Park ChanYeol. She immediately set up an appointment for TaeHyung and dropped it on him last minute. There was no way for him to refuse since she had already paid in advance. And as much as TaeHyung didn’t like it, she continued to, but with the money that his father was sending to her every month since she claimed to never have a use for it anyway.
Pushing open the door into the clean and orderly building, TaeHyung signed in at the front desk before taking a seat in the empty waiting area. Patiently waiting, he pressed the tips of his fingers together as he stared off into space. The morning had been calm, with the exception of the shadow that had been bugging him nonstop about seeking out random strangers on the streets and scaring the living daylights out of them with his powers.

the loud music was blasting through the rooms – the grand prince had asked to join him for a night with good music and a lot of people. useless, actually but so necessary in his job. seen, to be seen. that was what taemin made his money with. he needed that people actually know him. and like this the young male would make a party once every few months and just invited everyone who could be interesting for him or his work; or his future. today was one of those night. but truth to be told, it wasn’t like taemin would do anything himself. he had enough of money and knew enough people that would organize the party for him while he was busy himself; choosing the right outfit for the night. of course the boy had to look close to perfection – but narcissuss himself always though of himself as perfection this could be read in every book that was out there and that had bits of the greek mythology. he might not be a god; only a half with his father being one – but his story was one of those who was known the most. it was close to midnight and his rooms were full with people that moved along the music and drank. the party was long not on it’s peek but it was getting there and the mood was good, carefree. it was one of those nights taemin loved the most. and maybe one of those nights where his thoughts were brought away from the fact that his beauty was weighed down a curse. the curse to die alone only in love with himself. taemin loved himself. but ever since he learned that indeed his own was cursed because he had been too full of himself he had come to realisation that life wasn’t all about the looks or what he had always been proud of. but he knew he couldn’t fight a curse that was as old as time. his small hand was curled around the glass with a bitter liquid. his blonde hair was styled up and ice blue eyes were piercing through the dull light of the apartment. a smile graced his lips while he was talking to one of the designers that seemed to have a lot of money – and this was what was important to him. he wasn’t a model – he would never have the discipline for that if he was honest. it was so much easier to simply take photos with your phone and load them up on your instagram account or sit in front of a camera and talk about nonsense that people still seemed to like. taemin wasn’t a person soneone would like and he carried a face on the outside that wasn’t his own; he lied so to say. taemin thanked the foreign man as he excused himself to the bathroom. time to take a deep breath and let his gaze wander through the people, search for a new victim to talk he didn’t know or old bonds that needed to be renewed for the sake of work. the boy looked down on himself, checking his clothes; looking at his favourite ripped designer jeans. though it was so much ripped that he wouldn’t even need actually fabric on his legs anymore because it bared his thighs almost completely. however there was a figure in the corner of his eyes. someone that surely didn’t belong here.
TaeHyung’s brows quirked in amusement at the group of people wandering about with fancy glass wine cups in their hands. It was just like one of those gatherings his parents would always throw, except with young people. He was currently leaning against a wall, hiding in the shadows. He wasn’t in the mood to interact with anyone just yet, he was still trying to find out what was so interesting about the place.
Before he had slipped into the party through a forgotten window, left wide open, he had been wandering the streets looking to start up some brawl between two numb skulls. When he had finally found his targets, the old woman he always pestered when he was bored pulled him aside and told him that if he wanted to see something interesting, he should consider finding the party that was being thrown.
With her riddle like directions, and getting lost about eight times, TaeHyung finally found the place. He honestly would have been spending his time anywhere else, but the things that crazy woman told him always turned out to be somewhat true. So sucking it up, he continued to stand alone, letting his eyes wander the room aimlessly.
Only when he was really starting to consider leaving, a blond tuft of hair caught his attention. And clearly, he had caught theirs too. But the look that TaeHyung caught in the other’s eyes didn’t seem as amused as TaeHyung’s. It was pointless to runaway from the approaching figure, but TaeHyung wasn’t in the mood for a scene. Stuffing his hands into his pockets, he pried himself from the blue eyes and joined the mixture of the crowd.
He could still feel the blazing gaze on the back of his head, as he tried to slip away. He weaved between a bunch of groups, catching the eyes of some with a mischievous smirk and excusing himself from others with cold stares. It didn’t take him long to find a secluded hallway creeping into the first room he found, only after throwing one last look behind his back.

“Yes.” She answers calmly. She knew well how she should react to situations like this. Bora wouldn’t dare accuse the man to do anything out of the ordinary. As much as possible, she was here to help him. Not to destroy or hurt him. None of those are part of her plan or has ever crossed her mind ever. “I’m going to toast some bread too.” She says while turning to him. “I don’t have rice. I don’t want to risk going out either.” Going over the bread and slipping two slices into the toaster, she turns to look at him. “Are you feeling better now?"
Questions like this arise, that’s considered normal. But he isn’t normal. For one, he survived losing so much blood and floating in the water for how long. He must be something like her. How can she not know when she can feel the smallest of his energy building from within and coursing through his veins. "Ah, my bad. I should let you drink a medicine but..” she glances at the boiling water on the pot and the toaster making a small noise that the bread was done. “You shouldn’t drink medicine without eating anything. Would you like some water?”
Dropping the noodles into the water and taking her time in the small kitchen that was available for her to use. “My name is Bora, in case you’re curious. I saw you at the shore last night. Your clothes were torn and so was your back.” She sighs. “I did my best to stop the bleeding. I cleaned your wound more than once.. so that should hurt but it saves you from infection anyway.” It wasn’t long till she had to put the seasoning into the water and take the bread to the small table nearby. “Can you get up?” She asks. “I promise I’ll make you proper food later but.. this is all I have right now. I hope that’s okay with you.”
“I feel like heaven.”
He shook his head at her offer for water. However long he had been in the ocean, he was done with water. The only thing he wanted at the moment was food in his stomach. As he listened to her introduce herself while he laid in bed, he silently tried to calculate how long before he would be able to leave and return back to his comfy little apartment.
TaeHyung didn’t find it necessary that he introduce himself to her, even though she had told him her name. He took a quick second to scan her appearance before he looked down at the state he was in. His torso was fully exposed, considering the treatment she had given him, and he was left in his ragged jeans.
When she asked if he could get up, he braced himself, before pushing off the bed, a million curses running through his mind as he tried to stabilize his breathing. The cool air in the cabin brushed against his naked skin as he began debating with himself if food was really worth all the pain at the moment. He decided he would rather die from the claws of a hell hound though, than starve to death because he wouldn’t deal with the pain and slid his legs over the bed onto the ground.
“Anything is fine, as long as it ends up in my stomach,” he curtly replied.
Eying the table, TaeHyung stood up before realizing that walking probably wouldn’t be as painful as he had expected. As long as he didn’t do anything that required him twisting his back in anyway, he would be fine moving around. He began walking to the table before he the full effect of losing as much blood as he did hit him. His eyesight wavered and he began falling forwards. He was quick to catch himself though, sloppily tumbling onto a chair and using the table as support.
“Fuck.”
TaeHyung let himself lay sprawled across the chair and table as he regained his breath, his vision focusing again. With his face still down on the table, he grumpily exhaled, “Do you still have my shirt by chance? I don’t mind being half naked and all, but you’d probably be more comfortable if I had something covering up huh?”

The other boy introduced himself, causing Yoongi to squint at him in confusion. Kim boy? He looked down at the ground as he tried to remember who he might know with the name, but drew a blank. The male looked like he was a troublesome youth, and he had no idea why he would be associated with anyone like that. “I don’t know you,” He replied curtly, pursing his lips at the next question. His job had been pretty stressful lately; they were trying to impose a quota on deities killed for vindicators, but he felt that would make everyone more accident-prone and likely to kill a human. Also, his water pressure sucked when he tried taking a shower and the maintenance guy hadn’t shown up to fix it. “I dunno,” He replied, rubbing his head. “I wasn’t alone. My drinking buddies just left already.” It wasn’t a great defense, but it was the truth this time. He attempted to stand up from the ground, but found himself falling back onto his bottom. With a groan, he looked over at the newly introduced man and held out his hand. “Can ya help me up? Getting drunk is the fun part but getting home sucks,” Yoongi spoke, waiting for assistance. He wasn’t sure why this guy was helping him, and he still didn’t trust him, but as long as he was aware enough to know his way home he felt he was fine. “Taehyung,” He breathed, repeating the name in an attempt to remember it. “Nah, I still have no idea who you are.” As he was helped up from the ground, he automatically clung back to the boy to keep himself up. “So, I’m drunk, but I still know I don’t know you at all,” The blonde began, giving him a suspicious glance. “An’ that’s why I think you could be dangerous. ‘Cuz you’re claiming you know me and all, but maybe you’re some kind of stalker. Shit, you into guys?” He jumped to conclusions, offering him a mischievous smirk. “Hittin’ on a poor soul like me, totally defenseless, and lyin’ about knowing me… you’re probably leading me back to your place to do horrible things. Ah, this is how poor Yoongi becomes the victim…” He turned his head towards Taehyung, scrunching his face after a moment. “I dunno how such a cute face could be capable of somethin’ like that though. Are your looks that deceiving?” His tone was playful; he was aware it was likely not the case, and he wasn’t worried if it was. Such a thing had happened once before and all it took was minimal use of his power to walk away. As long as there was no weapon, he felt no real threat.
TaeHyung laughed out loud at YoonGi’s suggestion. Into guys? Don’t get him wrong, he didn’t care about who was into who. Hell, he didn’t even mind when guys tried to hit him up every now and then, but it just wasn’t really down his alley. And regarding knowing YoonGi, TaeHyung always found his way around to knowing everybody somehow. Of course that only applied to the deities. Word always spread around about who was who if you knew where to eavesdrop and who to listen to, and if not, TaeHyung always had the shadows around to keep him in with up to date.
“You’re the cherry on top you know?” TaeHyung grunted as he shifted uncomfortably under the elder’s weight. “And if I have to say, the gods really did bless me in this lifetime. With my looks, I could get anything I want. But they’re probably trying to make up for the sucky life from before.”
He continued to support and half drag YoonGi down the secluded street ways, weaving through them until they reached his little apartment placed on top of the miniature ramyun shop. The real hassle now was getting up the stares without dropping the lolling body by his side. TaeHyung might of got into a lot of fights, but it didn’t mean he was strong. Hell, he always barely escaped alive. But carrying a half-conscious body up a flight of stairs wasn’t the hardest thing he had ever encountered.
Sighing as he greeted the rickety flight of stairs, TaeHyung chuckled to YoonGi, “Huh, how many steps until you think we fall?”
TaeHyung was sure that the drunk deity would be able to make it up the stairs fine. If he hadn’t been as drunk out of his mind as he was. He had no problem lugging the other into the safe and warm confinement of his apartment, but if he fell before making it to the top, TaeHyung honestly wasn’t going to put in any more effort than he already had.

Kibum wasn’t deaf, of course, he could hear the buzzing sound of a mobile phone once he tapped on the “send” button on his phone. It could be a coincidence, the phone of someone else but Taehyung, but Kibum wasn’t someone who was believing in something trivial like a coincidence. With a swift motion, the young man put his phone back into his coat’s pocket. Turning away from the bar’s entrance, Kibum could see a young man walking out of the alleyway into the moonlight. Of course, the other has hidden from Kibum at first. The young man had to fight the urge to roll his eyes in fake annoyance. Why was everyone this careful? Or was Kibum just plainly reckless? Probably the second option.
Slowly the young man turned around to the other completely. His feline eyes scanned his opponent from head to toe, no word was leaving his bow-shaped lips yet. It wasn’t him who was desperate for some information but the other one. For whatever reason. You could tell that Kibum was curious, he had always been the curious type of person, but he wouldn’t dare to look desperate and ask. Often he could make the people tell him all of their secrets – or he would just see those in their dreams.
“Shouldn’t you be a bit more friendly?” Kibum scoffed and narrowed his eyes. Being careful? Why should he consider this? You only live once and Kibum wouldn’t be too sad if his life would end right now. There was nothing to miss and no one who would miss him. A depressing thought for sure, but the reality and nothing that would make Kibum break down in tears. “You wanted information and I have some.” Quirking the right eyebrow, Kibum gazed at the other intensely. “You are ugly with this grumpy face. No surprise he left you behind.”
No surprise he left you behind.
TaeHyung almost laughed at that. Almost.
“Don’t get too excited dream boy,” TaeHyung growled playfully, although there was also anger present. No one knew what had happened between him and his best friend. And no one would, unless if TaeHyung told them. Chances were slim though, of him actually doing that. No one needed to know that happened between the two of them.
He could feel the shadows getting jittery as his patience began to wane. Whenever he got angry the shadows loved it. It meant that he was either going to let loose and let the shadows under his control go crazy, or he was going to use them to his full extent.
But not this time.
TaeHyung couldn’t afford to go full out crazy on KiBum. Not when the man had the information he desperately wanted. As much as he didn’t want to admit it. Stuffing his clenched fists into his pockets, TaeHyung exhaled loudly, “So did you call me out here because you’re finally gonna tell me what you know? Or do you just have something else for me to do? Cause if it’s ass kicking, I’d prefer to get it done as soon as possible. I have an appointment tomorrow morning with other assholes running around the neighborhood getting high off of aerosol.”

It had been a lazy morning for Taekwoon, but it’s not like he didn’t enjoy it. Most days were extremely hectic so the occasional slow clientele was appreciated for him to relax. Though loving his job, he couldn’t possibly overwork himself and get sick. No one was there to take care of him or the shop, he couldn’t at all afford it.
He didn’t like the fact that when he was alone with his thoughts he always thought of his family. He wondered how they were doing, whether or not he would be welcomed back to the household if ever he decided to go back. However, he knew that it would never happen. He never planned on going back to the pompous and arrogant life he led for over 20 years. His newly found freedom was perfect, amazing, and everything in between. But he was afraid that his lifestyle from the past had ruined him for the one he was living at the moment. He, for one, was awfully quiet outside his shop. Flowers acted as a safe haven for him, as a shield against the real world he was so afraid to discover, and which his family kept from.
He still needed to work on his people skills, and slowly he was getting better at it. However, he needed a lot more work before he could be completely integrated in the middle class, a society he never thought of mingling with in his wildest dreams.
A shiver went down his spine before he could even look up to see who had come into the shop. A young man, definitely younger than him but he was oozing of high class, and he was sure he knew him. Or at least, he had seen him before. Where else though other than a charity event from his past social life? He recognized people that came into his shop more than once, and it was definitely his first time there. He stared at the other for a moment, and not only oculd he recognize his presence, but there was also something about his aura that indicated he wasn’t fully human.
Have we met before?
Taekwoon wasn’t going crazy if the other felt the same way. “I don’t believe you’ve ever come into my shop. Are you perhaps a son of a wealthy business man?”
He quickly composed himself though. “Oh where are my manners. Welcome toAurora Flowers, how may I help you today?”
It automatically clicked in TaeHyung’s head the moment the man mentioned ‘wealthy business’. TaeHyung tried not to mingle with anyone other than his family after finding out about his real identity. He just couldn’t adjust to the thought of being only human anymore. Who could after finding out that they were an almighty god or goddess?
With a snap of his finger, and nod of his head, TaeHyung made himself more comfortable, leaning onto the counter. “My father is Kim TaeYun. CEO of the fancy-smancy company that created that one watch brand.”
TaeHyung tried to find any resemblance in the man in front of him from any of the business partners he had seen during his parents gatherings. He swore he could almost make out someone. “Safe to assume your just the son of one of those other wealthy corporation owners or something?” He raised a brow at the man before pushing himself off the counter, taking another good look around the store from where he was standing. “Ah, and I’m looking for some yellow tulips, to be exact. Back to what I was saying, I mean, otherwise, you wouldn’t be working here right?”
He stuffed his hands into his pockets as he began browsing the store again, making faces at the flowers reappearing in his view. “Say are you the son of the Lee’s? Son’s? Or is it Kang?” Stopping at the end of a row of neatly stacked flower pots, TaeHyung partially approved of the flowers safely packed into it. “You can tell I’m not really good at guessing games,” TaeHyung threw back a smile at the man, before muttering under his breath, “At least not with humans.”
He continued to observe the planted flowers in front of him before moving onto the next. He was starting to understand why his grandmother loved this shop so much. The flowers were incredible. Perfect, he dare say. But TaeHyung didn’t know anything about flowers. You could give him a dozen of roses and he’d probably still call them beautiful. Of course he wasn’t so dumb to not realize when they were dead or dying, but that could also have to do with how careless he was, disregarding anything that didn’t mean anything to him.

crossroad [ th & tw ]
@dexleo
He scratched at the two small words inked into his skin with a black marker he had found on the ground. Aurora Flowers. A polite young man worked there. According to TaeHyung’s grandmother. She frequented the shop often, loving the presence of flowers surrounding her. It was her absolute favorite shop.
He was on a run for his grandmother, picking up two dozens of tulips for her friend’s daughters who were visiting later that day. She had rushed him out of the house early before he got the chance to gulf down the rest of his creamed pancakes and orange juice just to get the flowers. It had actually made him kind of grumpy the way she chased him out so quickly, but he knew it was important if she was already that frantic at nine in the morning. She had stuffed a few bills into his hands before shutting the door on him.
If he had to be honest, TaeHyung actually found it quite cute that his grandmother was so excited from a visit from her friend and her daughters. It had also been a while since TaeHyung was actually doing something normal, considering he hadn’t been back home for about a month now. Living life as a deity wasn’t easy, especially with all the things he had to hide now.
When he finally arrived at the shop, he took a moment to observe the shop, noting escape routes- a habit of his from constantly causing trouble. He never really enjoyed the scent of flowers since all the ones he ever encountered always burned his nostrils. It wasn’t a pleasant feeling at all, so the thought of being surrounded by an entire place filled with flowers, not to mention in a closed space, didn’t fair with him very well.
As soon as TaeHyung pushed open the door, utter regret filled him for choosing to visit his granmother that day- with the exception of the hearty breakfast. The stench of flowers literally killed his sense of smell as he tried to breathe. Opening his mouth as different mean to get a breath of fresh air, he began choking upon inhaling the tainted air. He really hated flowers.
His coughs continued to bounce throughout the shop as he glared at the flowers distastefully until his eyes met with a pair of cold ones. Cold, but familiar at the same time. TaeHyung immediately questioned the man’s familiarity as he aimlessly walked around the shop, the bothersome flowers forgotten. Before he realized, while stealing glances at the man through the bunches of flowers, he was standing in front of the man at the counter.
“Huh.” TaeHyung was surprised at his own subconscious reaction of approaching the man. Quickly examining the situation in his mind, he decided he might as well strike a conversation since he was already there. He looked at the man again while absentmindedly scratching at an itch on his cheek, “"Have we met before?”

In the end, Kibum was always asking himself why he was doing something. Often he was acting first before thinking and that was indeed not the right way to go through your life. Not that Kibum had troubles – like real and deadly troubles – in his life, but he knew that his faked personality would once get him right into this kind of trouble he didn’t want to be involved into. However, the young man was finding himself relying on his own powers way too often. They weren’t the greatest and Kibum still wasn’t able to handle them in this way he should, but the night and especially the sleep was a strong weakness of everyone. Dreams, even though they weren’t real, could destroy you slowly. They could wreck your mental health and bring you to the fine line between death and life. But at the same time, Kibum knew that he wasn’t the only one with the gift of a supernatural power. There were many of them and not all of them were disgusted by war as Kibum was.
You better know your enemy.
However, having a deal ongoing with this guy named Taehyung wasn’t the best idea Kibum had come up with. Surely, he was having information Taehyung wanted to have desperately, but having knowledge wasn’t always an advantage. Stuffing his hands into his coat’s pockets, Kibum made his way across the streets after he left his car behind. The night in combination with a bar, a public place more or less, was, at least, Kibum’s guarantee that the other wouldn’t murder him on the spot. Then again, Kibum still had this knowledge which would keep him alive, right?
While coming closer to the bar, Kibum took his phone out of his coat’s pockets. With his thumb, he unlocked the screen and opened Taehyung’s contact number. Slowly the young man licked over his dry lips, taking a deep breath before typing his message:
[ txt ↣ taehyung ] I’m in front of the bar. You better aren’t late you know I hate lateness!
TaeHyung was tapping a random beat against his leg as he relaxed, hidden in the shadows of the alleyway when the buzz of his phone alerted him of a message. Slipping the object from his pocket, he glanced at it before confirming KiBum’s arrival. Stuffing his phone back into his pocket, TaeHyung exposed himself, walking out of the alleyway into the moonlight shedding onto the dark street.
He glanced over their surrounding area two times before approaching KiBum, giving most of his attention to the man. He needed a plan of escape just in case if KiBum was going to have someone else jumping him. He wasn’t in the mood to fight, and it was always better to be safe than sorry although he highly doubted that that was the man’s intention that night.
Scratching the back of his head, he stood lazily next to KiBum. “So what was it you called me out for?” TaeHyung grumpily asked, giving no effort in hiding his irritation. He glared at KiBum before raising a brow.

The other pushed the glass away, warranting a small whine from the elder. He laid his head back onto the table and made an attempt to process all of Taehyung’s words. Why would he be beating him down? After a moment, he let out a hum, picking himself up once more to narrow his eyes suspiciously at the man. “You’re a god?” He asked quietly, or what he believed to be quietly. His question wasn’t answered immediately, and he decided to cooperate with the stranger’s attempt to pick him up and support him with his body.
A couple minutes and quite a bit of drunk muttering later, and Yoongi began to recognize the area a little better. He glanced over at his crutch, offering him a grin. “So you’re a god, since you didn’t answer my question earlier. You totally seem familiar the more I look at’cha. You knew my name too. That’s probably not a good thing, I mean, if you knew the Greek name, that’s one thing, but you knew my human alias…” He trailed off, shuffling closer for more support. Luckily for Taehyung, he held alcohol considerably well. Otherwise, Yoongi would probably be the boy’s worst nightmare.
The blonde stumbled forward due to a rock on the path, but managed to catch himself with the other’s help. He let out a groan, refusing to take another step with him. “Let’s take a break, my legs are tired,” He spoke, pushing himself away and clumsily plopping onto the ground. Even though they had only made it halfway to his apartment, the alcohol was making him tired. “Tell me,” He started, staring at the space the man was inhabiting. “Who you are. Why I shouldn’t be your enemy.” A serious tone overtook his voice, though he was still clearly drunk. Despite his situation, he was ready to throwdown if Taehyung made any threatening move.
TaeHyung happily obliged to the blond’s demand at a break, letting the deity take his break on the littered ground. He hadn’t actually been paying full attention to the things YoonGi had been grumbling about since he had been so focused on listening for the sound of other things. It wasn’t until YoonGi came to a stop, forcing TaeHyung to stop too that he really listened to what YoonGi was saying.
He openly chuckled at the elder’s questions before taking a seat next to him, brushing off the thought that he would be ruining the new pants he had just bought. They were bound to get ruined sooner or later. Turning to look at YoonGi’s drunken stare, he nodded to himself before saying, “You must be really out of it to not recognize me.”
A big grin made its way onto TaeHyung’s lips as he laughed at YoonGi, “It’s me. The damn Kim boy. The one everyone complains about. You know, Kim TaeHyung? Don’t tell me you’ve already forgotten who I am.”
TaeHyung began humming to himself, finding too much entertainment in a drunk YoonGi. “And you don’t have to worry about me right now. Worry about yourself,” TaeHyung sighed, patting YoonGi’s knee. “What kind of shit are you going through that you’d drink yourself dumb at a bar alone, hm?”
TaeHyung waited patiently for YoonGi’s response while listening intently to the night. The shadows usually warned him with a whisper of his enemies but they were done for the night, wreaking havoc with others. Until he summoned them, TaeHyung would need to rely on his senses to figure out if the thing prowling two blocks away was a cat, or a threat.

Sleeping on the couch was never part of her plan. Heck. Bringing back a man who was barely breathing was never part of her plan either but still, she did her best to take care of him. Her shoulders felt painful, she did take most of his weight while they were walking. She didn’t ask for help either. It was all just her. Even her clothes reeked of the scent of the sea and there was blood drops here and there. It wasn’t her blood. It was his.
It wasn’t too long since she felt the sun’s ray hitting unto her face, immediately cursing under her breath. “Goddammit, Apollo.” She hid her face with her cardigan and slowly, as the reality begins to sink in, she opened her eyes and saw him. Last night wasn’t a dream after all. He really is there and she did sleep on the couch. She sighed and pushed herself up. Tomorrow would be their last day on the beach.
Today’s plan was to spend the day reading outside while she was under the sun but changes had to be made. “I hope you’re feeling better now.” Bora says with a yawn, discarding herself with her cardigan as she ties her hair up and walking to the small kitchen in the cabin. Food. She would need to feed him without her having to go out and risking him to be seen inside her room. She had a small pack of food with her anyway. Ramyun would be enough. So she cooks at least three packs of it, not only for herself that is.
Walking back to the couch to grab her ringing phone, she answered it in a soft voice. “You guys go ahead. I’m not feeling well. I think I should rest up. Have fun.” Throwing a look at the male on her bed.
TaeHyung’s nose twitched as the delicious smell of food cooking filled the room.
“You guys go ahead. I’m not feeling well. I think I should rest up. Have fun.”
He immediately tensed before regretting his reflexes as the pain in his back tore into his senses. He couldn’t help but let out a loud groan from the agonizing pain as he laid face down on the bed, inhaling and exhaling heavily. His fists clutched onto the blanket by his side as he tried to relax, telling himself to suck it up.
“Fucking dogs,” he hissed through clenched teeth before breathing slowly.
Before he could fully relax though, he remembered the woman from earlier and looked up, only to be greeted with her questioning gaze. It was only then that he realized the sun was already up, its rays filtering into the cabin. And the fact that he didn’t know how he was going to explain himself. Which only made the situation more peculiar. Wouldn’t the woman have said something by now?
TaeHyung continued to stare back at her as he tried to figure out what to say first. Who are you? Why did you save me? Where am I? He was giving himself a headache, which was the last thing he needed at the moment.
Trying not to let the awkward silence draw out any longer than it already had, TaeHyung settled with, “Are you making ramyun?”

greek mythology/myth picspam series >> erebus
“Erebus, Erebus. The never ending chaos. The source of every life. Gave birth to darkness and the black night. Darkness, darkness rules everywhere, lighting flashes to tear it apart. Thunders hit the mountains of mother earth, slowly the rage stop and the earth sinks in eternal darkness. Darkness rules everywhere. Darkness, darkness, faithless darkness. And this eternal night who feeds on truth in the abysmal chaos. Darkness which grew in thy womb.“
