That’s crazy imagine if there was a gender of people who’d been systemically oppressed and subjugated for millennia, told they were the root cause of evil in society, told they were objects and not humans, raped killed and abused, enslaved, banned from some forms of artistic performance because their existence was “corrupting morals”, stripped of their bodily autonomy, and blamed and used as the scapegoat for every single problem in the world. I’m sure they’d also collectively become horrible hateful bigots with no care for any other human too, right? Oh wait. Huh. That’s weird. They’re not.

honestly? i wish that kids shows would teach kids about the dangers of AI imaging.

like... Arthur used to tackle a lot of heavy subjects like swearing or racism. if Arthur was still going, i could see them doing an episode where the kids all fall for some fake AI image of one of their friends, and said friend gets ostracized for it.

then an older/more tech-savvy character could explain to them how AI imaging works, and how it can be used for nefarious purposes.

maybe show them ways in which they can tell an image is AI, like jumbled text or messed-up fingers/faces. and, of course, they'd encourage kids to always think about where an image is coming from and making sure it's legit.

i think it's an important thing for younger kids to know.
