LET’S TALK ABOUT SOO AH WITHOUT BITTERNESS!

So as a lot of fans of My ID is Gangnam beauty I have read manga too (btw it is really good). Recently author of the manga posted chapters about Soo Ah and her background history that changed my opinion about her dramatically. 

A little backup here: when I saw that I need to read the whole 3 chapters of a character that I don’t really like I thought about just miss those chapters, but then I realized that she must have hard story to tell, so as a person who was being bullied in middle school I decided to read and did a great choice by it.

YES, guys she has been bullied by her looks. And it wasn’t just a bad talk about her, but Soo Ah’s classmates even “tossed” her in the fucking trash can.

Soo Ah has been beaten by her parents/grandparents at home as well (because of her looks, just in different perspective).

She has been hated by her grandmother and her mother called her ‘disgusting’, her father didn’t care about her at all.

Soo Ah isn’t just a not-loved-child, her parents were hating each other so much. Nobody cared about what Soo Ah could hear when gm, mother and father have been fighting over some shit. In the end her parents got divorced. 

Soo Ah ended up not going to school, and once-in-a-blue-moon her mum appeared just to tell her to take a bath. But poor child even didn’t know how to shower. So this woman left her daughter with words like “do what you want but go to school cleaned up”. That’s it. Everyone just abandoned her without even giving her some kind of love.

Of course her classmates realized that she is BEAUTIFUL and started to approach her. She jumped in conclusions so fast because she was scared that everyone would start to hate her again. SHE WANTED TO BE IN PEACE AND BE LOVED. 

Yes, now she has wrong idea about making friends and all. But the most important part is that she has a sick view at the whole world and FOR NOW she is always feeling alone, not happy at all. I can even say that she has some sort of depression and Soo Ah’s behaviour is the fucking result, not a thing. I’m not saying that what Soo Ah is doing is good, but you can’t blame her here, you have never experienced this kind of shit in your life. YOU CAN’T JUDGE HER, EVERYONE HAS A BATTLE, BUT SOO AH HAS THE FUCKING WORLD WAR 2.

Then I’m very happy to introduce the Studyblr Summer Mentorship Program. We connect experienced studyblrs with those only starting out, or who are just curious still. This way you can be part of a vast network with a variety of studyblrs - different backgrounds, different stories, different experiences. Too often newbies are discouraged because they can’t seem to truly connect with the community in the beginning, or have a lot of unanswered questions. Others don’t even create a blog because everything seems so intimidating - why is everything so aesthetically pleasing?? 

Mentors: - you mentor one or several baby studyblrs - you give back to the community, make it a better place and help others - you connect with other studyblr, new and more experienced - apply here!

Mentees: - you get guidance and support from an experienced member - how do I find a theme? what are some studyblr essentials? how do I make friends? how do I actually use studyblr productively and not fall into the trap of procrastination by looking at pretty notes?? (still haven’t figured that one out myself) how do I gain followers? etc. - you get access to a network of studyblrs - you’re introduced to the community and all its wonderful perks - apply here!

Mentors and Mentees: - gain friends!! - take part in challenges/group chats/ask games/anything fun (optional) - meet others in the community
