erubes1 Ever since I was a kid, Iceland seemed like a far off world that I would probably never get to experience. Recently I was finally able to make my dream a reality and experience the magical country first hand. Driving around the island was something I’ll never forget and got me thinking…Is travel more accessible to our generation or do we prioritize it more? My parents will likely never make it to places like these but their priorities are much different than mine and that’s perfectly fine. Is the thought of owning that dream house or other traditional signs of wealth seemingly so distant nowadays that we shoot for short term happiness and attainable goals? They say you can’t put a price on experiences like these but everyone in life is striving to find that perfect balance. I know I am. Certain parts of Iceland are seemingly untouched and when you do come across people in the distant fjords, they seem so content with what they have. It’s such a different world from where I live in Southern California and I’m thankful to be exposed and motivated by both extremes on a consistent bases. Travel, experience the world, but never forget where hard work will lead you. Here’s a few of the moments I enjoyed most with @robstrok and @masonprendergast. @erubes1
