GTA SECRET SANTA 2024
It's time for another Secret Santa!
For those who don’t know, Secret Santa art trade is an exchange between artists and writers who create fics/fan arts/graphics for one another as a Christmas present. Secret means that you can't tell anyone what you are working on until it's time to post your work.
The theme is mostly Christmas, but you can also leave other kinds of prompts if you want. You can ask for gifts about any GTA games or even your original characters. The mod will do their best to match up everyone so that there is representation for as many games as possible.
NSFW prompts or themes so heavy that they could make people uncomfortable are not allowed. Always ask if you're unsure! Make sure your prompts are very clear on what you want. The form has a guide on leaving prompts.
You can join by filling in this form. It will only be available until November 15, so be quick! By November 18, you will receive the information of the person you're going to gift your work to. Then you will have until Christmas to work on your gift. If you can't stick to the deadline, you shouldn't participate, but in December, all Christmas themed GTA works that this blog gets tagged to will be reblogged! <3
The moderator will ask you for progress a couple of times before the deadline to make sure that everyone gets their gift. If there are any problems and you can’t participate any longer, contact the mod ASAP.
Feel free to reblog this post and hopefully, we get a lot of participants to light up the Christmas time!
Mod: @nevergonnasimpyoumikey

Try Don't try
You consider pushing him, knowing that he would give in if you made him. He's not strong enough to resist and he doesn't have other choices.
Again, maybe it's the guilt, but... you don't want to do that. For the first time, you're putting friendship over personal gain.
"Fine. We'll get our shit from the motel and—"
"Our?" Trevor scoffed.
"Yeah. Our. I didn't ditch your stuff if that's what you thought." You can feel him staring at you, and you explain, "I thought you'd come back sooner or later, and when I realized you weren't gonna do that, I just didn't get around to doing it. And then I got your letter."
As if it would've been a huge task to take his bag to the trash and be done with him for good. He must know it wasn't about you being lazy. Maybe that's why his voice is a bit softer when he thanks you.
You just shrug it off and drive back to the motel as he sleeps.

Whores Banks
You only speak after you've been driving for a while. "I've been thinking about banks, you know. Something big." When he doesn't answer, you continue without looking at him. "But it's more dangerous, obviously. And if we do that, we always gotta keep moving. Do a job, then go somewhere else."
"Works for me," he grunts, and you glance at him. He's staring out the window, and you wonder if you should try to make him change his mind one more time.

Give orders Split up Give in
You grind your teeth a bit. You're not happy about giving up a somewhat stable job. You're not even sure why you do it — is it the guilt talking? — but you still answer, "I guess we could find something else."
He looks surprised.
"We'll talk about it in the car," you mutter, and then it's silence again as your mind races. If you can't go back to selling drugs or smuggling guns...

Stupid question Your opinion His opinion
You purse your lips, not pleased by his answer, but you still decide to ask for his opinion even though most of his ideas are stupid at best and dangerous at worst. "So what do you wanna do instead?"
"I don't know," he grunts. "But I'm not going back to that. Not after what you did."

Ask about prison Stay silent Talk about work
He stares out the window except for when the waitress brings you coffee, then the breakfast. He eats hurriedly, almost maniacally, but you don't blame him. You would have done the same after getting out if you could have.
When he slows down after finishing almost everything, though, you clear your throat. "Have you thought about work, T?" He lifts his gaze but doesn't answer, so you continue, "I'm still working for the same people. I could probably get you in again if—"
"No," Trevor answers bluntly.

Offer Don't offer
You're quiet for a moment, thinking about the few 50-dollar bills you have in your wallet. You could give him the money and take him to a city nearby and hope that he wouldn't spend it all on drugs. You could offer him a way out if he actually doesn't want to work with you anymore.
But you don't really believe he'd make it on his own, and... you have been alone for the past couple of months, and you're tired of it. You want him around even if he hates your guts at the moment.
You start the car and keep driving in silence, giving him time — and fine, maybe you're testing to see if he starts a conversation. He doesn't, and it feels like hours but must be only 30 minutes before you see signs for a diner, and since you've gotten up early and haven't eaten yet, you don't exactly care for his opinion on whether you should stop or not.
And yet, since you figure out he's not going to talk first, you ask, "You hungry?"
"Yeah," he grunts after a while, still not looking at you.
"You didn't get breakfast, right?" you huff. "When I got out, they told me I didn't have time to eat but then made me wait for the processing for a fucking hour."
"Yep."
It's just as awkward when you park the car, make your way to the diner, and take a seat at the last table. You read the menu for only a while before deciding, but Trevor's eyes keep flicking over the rows again and again.
"Trev," you mutter softly, and he looks up at you, gaze so intense that you can't continue right away. You have to swallow heavily first. "I'm paying, obviously. So pick whatever you want."
You can tell he doesn't like it, being so dependent on you, but he nods and puts away the menu, and when the waitress comes to your table, he orders enough food to feed a small village. You can't blame him; he's been living on prison food for... you don't even know how long, exactly.
