Hello! I´m on my first year of Graphic Design and I´ve learnt little to nothing about logos and how to create them. The main question I have is, how to you make geometric logos? Is there a tip you can give me? Please and thank you!!!

Hi,I create geometric logo by first reading the brief and then I begin with researching for the logo like taking information from the brief and then going on Pinterest or good to explore and create a bucket of images. So, now I have this images and information, I begin on paper by drawing roughly not geometrically, I explore multiple variations and designs and after I have decided one as final, I now have to make it geometric. Geometric logos are basically made up of lines, circle, square, triangle, spiral. And I now try to refine my logo drawing by using these geometric shapes, most commonly I use circle, square and lines. It's your choice if you want to refine the logo on paper by using rulers, compass or on software, on software you need to click the picture of your sketch and then place it on software and trace it on software by using shape tools. And then I have my geometric logo, but let me tell you this is one way. There are many other ways too, I sometimes start directly on software by using grids (Ctrl + ').
