I don't think it's a good idea to have the same indicator for romantic choices towards characters who are not actually romanceable (though a different icon is nice). Some people don't look at the RO list for games, and they may think these are actually romanceable characters and be disappointed later

as in two different hearts for example you mean? would make sense, I was thinking back and forth about it. and i was torn - a lot. but you're right, not everybody checks the blog and knows who is who. Maybe keep the frustration as low as possible 😅 I mean i have plot wise enough disappointments ☠️

About non-romanceable characters...

some characters are not romanceable, but MC can still feel attracted to them one way or the other. These reactions will also have an influence on how said characters react and act around MC.

Now the question... do you want choices and dialogue options to have an icon, like a ❤️? Or none?

hello author, i see a lot of hate going on towards wips and blogs that dont have a demo. i saw that you received some unkind messages as well. i am sorry you and many other people have to endure it as well. as much as i understand that people dont follow blogs or wips without a demo i really dont understand why they spread hate and doubts in the inboxes. i really hope you are doing well and are still motivated to work on your stories. i am following for what feels like forever and i remember when you announced the demo but then delayed it. i was sad i admit but i also saw your response which pulled me back into reality. what i want to say is that i hope you are doing fine, drink enough water, enjoy whenever you feel like writing. i will be here when the demo will come and i will be celebrating it with you.
