Does anyone know where I can catch up on the second season of Miraculous Ladybug? I only got to see up to episode 12 on Netflix. . . Ugh I am really annoyed the don't update with current episodes. . . I don't want to try to find them on Youtube since they are mostly clipped due to copyrights and rightfully so so preferably legit but free. . .

A middle school in Achille, Oklahoma is closed following violent threats by parents on social media against Maddie, a 12-year-old transgender student who identifies as female and used the girls’ bathroom.

Maddie had been using the staff bathroom at her old school but used the girls’ bathroom at the new school because she wasn’t sure where the staff bathroom was. She was then accused of peeping under a bathroom stall. Her mother said it was probably because she “leans very far forward to use the bathroom.”

Then the threats began on a private parents’ Facebook group for the school. The parents called Maddie “it” and “thing”, suggested that her genitalia be mutilated to make her female (“a good sharp knife will do the job real quick”). One said it was “hunting season on them kind” and said there was “no bag limit.”

Maddie’s mother Brandy Rose said she fears for her life: “These are adults making threats– I don’t understand it. She’s an awesome kid. To see any fear in her, I can’t explain how bad that hurts me for them to hurt her.”

KXII reports: “The sheriff said the mother filed a protective order against one parent but no other arrests have been made, however several agencies including the FBI are stepping in to see if any comments constitute a hate crime.”

Sorry to say this but if we have to think about whether or not threatening to cut a 12 year old child is a hate crime means there is no hope for us. What has this nation become when it’s citizens feel they have a right to threaten minorities with no fear of repercussion. The only ringing heard now is the death knell of freedom..

Three different places near Athens were destroyed by massive forest fires.

• 180+ people are severely injured and burnt.

• 50 people and counting were found dead on the streets, in their cars or houses, including families that were found hugging each other.

• 100+ are missing.

This is a national tragedy. So many were lost because of ARROGANT PEOPLE.

Spreading awareness. There’s no need for such things to happen, so many lives were destroyed for no reason.

I know this is not at all related to the nature of my blog, but what is happening right now in Greece is a tragedy. The fire that broke to the area of Kineta in Athens has left people homeless and injured with many people dying from asphyxia.

I know there is not much you can do, but spare a minute and pray for the people who are lost and their families.

I can’t believe i even have to make this post, but there’s been some disturbing shit going around twitter in the last 24 hours. threats of violence about the writers, encouragement to harass the vld staff/boo the s7 premiere at sdcc, etc etc- all over allurance, interviews about lance’s character, or other story decisions. it’s no secret why most are aimed at lauren. 

this is a good reminder to let creators- especially female creators- to tell the stories they want to tell in peace. i don’t care how much you hate allurance or want more for lance, this is fucked up.

this is also a good reminder to be on the look out for people like this at sdcc. if you see this behaviour there, especially during panels, please call it out.
