But the horror… The horror was for love. The things we do for love like this are ugly, mad, full of sweat and regret. This love burns you and maims you and twists you inside out. It is a monstrous love and it makes monsters of us all.

Saw X thoughts
John is over here making some unwinnable games. How are you going to let someone die when they completed the task, just not quickly enough?
Was Taskmaster inspired by Saw? Do I love that show so much because it's an extension of my favorite brand of horror?
I'm glad they didn't recast Amanda. Older actors deserve love too.
John is a Republican who doesn't understand drug addiction, confirmed again.
Scammy European lady is the most intelligent contestant yet.
If the tray of medical supplies fell over, they would have to go over and bend down to pick everything up. Nobody looks intimidating like that.
More proof of unwinnable games: how the hell was John going to heal a dude whose cranium was open?
I don't appreciate that I like the blonde scam lady but also, she's the best written character in the whole series. Fight me.
Does John think this poor woman in Mexico can afford skin grafts? Or that she won't die of an infection first?
Poor Gabbie. So proud of her.
I'm a private investigator. There's no way an American cop could find this many people in Mexico quickly enough for this. He wouldn't have the resources, doesn't speak the language, and is working with a place lacking in all the databases he's used to.
"I've been wanting to do that since the moment I met you" loses weight when you met someone a few hours ago while they kidnapped you. Bad writing.
Oh, blonde, you can't actually kill somebody that way, but you can commit character assassination. Is that character suicide?
Hashtag stop making neck snapping look so easy.
"Jig fucking saw" kills the impact there. Waste of a sting.
How the fuck does everyone psychically know what that sound is? It could've been anyone out there.
.... AI was used in the making of this film. "In a terrible unforseen consequence." Fuck you, movie, I'm mad now. No human wrote that line.
Well fuck. AI has ruined my perception of this.
"and I don't have a silly moral code like you. trust me." Okay, ChatGPT, you silly bitch.
This kid's mental well-being is fucked. I guess that's what you get for playing soccer at 6 AM like a freak.
How'd you get so much blood, John? How is it not running out? I need a montage of him going to all the butchers in the land for all the blood they have.
The secret is teamwork.
Yes, a giant bag of cash won't get anybody murdered in the streets.
Imagine having that conversation with his parents.
What the fuck is this optimistic and inspirational ending shot??
I'm amending my unwinnable assessment, but I still argue that John operated in bad faith here. Say you buy his code and find it admirable. I don't, but there are weirdos who do. If that's the case, seeing nearly enough bone marrow with only a couple seconds to spare and not stopping the game? Or brain matter but it hasn't melted enough yet? John, they showed the will to live. They played your game. Let them out, motherfucker!!
