He tries to conceal his presence as much as possible as infantrymen show their helmeted faces a few distances away from them. Using the end of a narrow hall that expands into two different halls. His accomplice? Zack. Reasoning for infiltration within Shin-Ra Q? To get answers regarding what took place with the two of them those stolen four years. Even Cloud can’t deny that he also wants answers, or some kind of lead towards them. His recovery is slow and it’s rough around the edges but he’s coherent and connected enough to what embraces him now which stood for something alone. Cloud peeks his head ever the slightest, watching the infantrymen take on the elevator to then use it to head down. Cloud recalls so much about the interior of the company. It’s sad to say but he’s going to have to depend on what Zack recalls for now. “Do you even know where we’re supposed to go in the first place?” For the love of Gaia please say yes.

He then turns to look at Zack (all business) who’s just across from him, concealing himself from enemy view. “If you say no I’m jumping off that glass window right now.” He’s not being serious..or joking either for that matter.

Happy Birthday Cloud Strife! Though I don’t have time to make a proper thing for the actual birthday of this character and even though I’m actually one of the fans of FFVII that kind of has a hard time taking the series itself too seriously (I mean have you played the OG lmao) the game itself along with its story has impacted me as a gamer but more so the characters within it which is what I loved most about the game, the characters, and Cloud’s definitely one of the one’s I enjoyed and adored since he was introduced to us. So happy birthday dear chocobo head! Can’t wait to see you in HD in the remake!
