Fun Fact that you maybe didn鈥檛 know yet: When tree crickets reproduce, the male transfers his sperm sac to the female and since this takes a little while, he has to keep the female from crawling away. The male does this by lifting his wings bc he has an indent on his back, kind of like a soup bowl from which the female sips proteins :3
