The Defenders are an elite team of Disney's current most treasured heroes. Rapunzel, Elsa, Stitch, Captain Jack Sparrow, Merida and Wreck-It Ralph take the mantle as the third wave of Defenders and work together to protect the Magic Kingdom from Villains from within and threats from beyond the Main Street gates.

CHAPTER 27: 'HYDRA ON THE RANGE'
Let it be known that I'm very well aware of how bad I am at updating this fic I'm so sorry Dx
I won't try justifying it cause I know ultimately why and I'm pretty sure you all know ultimately why. I'm lazy. I won't work around it. I'm lazy and my thoughts are scattered and I've literally just now finished the double feature. asljhdflksjhfklsdhfdkljfh
In the dark coldness of space, a golden throne hovered above a platform on a lone rock among stars. A hooded creature came up to the throne, bowing before it. "What is our progress?" A voice came from the other side of the throne.
"Unsuccessful once more. Neither Hydra or the Mutants have proven effective to our attempts." No sound came from the throne. "The Defenders of the Magic Kingdom are not the weak wretches we were promised! For every man we send comes a force that grows stronger! To challenge their capabilities is to court Death!"
The creature from the throne turned to his minion. Thanos grinned with a dark and sinister presence. "Excellent."
_________________________________________________________
Butch Cavendish came into the saloon, glaring around, knowing well that someone was looking for him. At the bar was a man in an all blue army uniform. His helmet was off, exposing his messy blond hair, and he downed another shot glass. Butch grinned and sat down on the stool next to him. “Captain America.”
Steve Rogers turned to him. Had the time finally come for Disney and Marvel characters to meet in the same place with regular business? Of course this was far from regular. Everything’s been changed.
“Butch Cavendish,” Cap said. “How’s life with no popular film these days?”
“You’re hardly the right one to be yankin’ chains from the Marvel universe.”
“Doesn’t change the sad fact.” Steve asked for another drink.
“I heard you been lookin’ for me. I told you everything I know about Hydra’s operations in Frontierland.”
“Yeah, well you left out a couple crucial details. For one thing, Red Skull’s steam engine didn’t pass Old Saddles station two nights ago.”
“It did--”
“And you also didn’t mention how you acquired this information.” Cap looked at Butch again. “How many other Villains have defected to Hydra following Maleficent’s transition?”
Butch snorted and then chuckled. “What are you gonna do if I don’t say? Your kind don’t have jurisdiction here. Frollo saw to that.”
Captain America smiled. “I may not.” He picked up his helmet and stood up. “But she does.”
Butch turned around to see a girl in a leather ranger’s uniform and wild red hair grab his collar. She pulled him off the stool and dragged him out the door and into the desert Western air. It was blazing and bright and the girl threw him to the middle of the town. She pulled out a bow and arrow and aimed at him. “By the way,” she said, her Scottish accent very present, “I don’t miss.”
Butch jumped up. “Wait! I-I can explain!”
“Start talking!”
“Hades is keepin’ tabs on the engine’s movements! He told me to get you guys knowin’ so’s you could stop ‘em! I swear, the steam engine did pass Old Saddles!”
“Funny, then, how we ended up with no spare parts!”
“I don’t know why! That’s just what I was told!”
“Merida!” She turned around to see a man on top a ghostly white horse coming up the street. The Lone Ranger. “Rapunzel has updated information for you!”
Merida turned back to Butch and huffed. “Don’t move.” She lowered her bow and sheathed her arrow. She took out her enchanted mirror and connected with Rapunzel. “What is it, Punz?”
“Okay so I asked Walt to map the train track’s route from Old Saddles,” Rapunzel said from the other side of the mirror. “Now at some point it does split off in two directions. One goes off to its regular route across the country, but the interesting part is where the second track goes.” Rapunzel lifted it to show Merida mountain ridges. “Big Thunder Mountain.” Merida could spot the landmark of the mountain in the distance. Rapunzel brought it back to her. “Technically, Thunder Mesa, the old mining town. But basically Thunder Mountain is the pinnacle for discovering rare treasures. Apparently there are still Forbidden Tales hidden inside that nobody has been able to find yet. Even more, it’s also the cavernous entrance to the Underworld, Hades’ hideout.”
“Either Red Skull wants any Forbidden Tales he can get, or he’s looking to strike a new deal with Hades,” Merida said. “No matter what the reason is, Hydra can’t get to Thunder Mountain. It’s also a source of a lot of raw materials that support Main Street’s economy. If Skull gets his hands on Thunder Mountain we could be looking at an economical downturn for the Kingdom.”
“We have to stop that train!”
“Yeah, but we don’t even know where it is…”
“I think I might have an idea,” Captain America came up behind Merida and looked at the mirror. “I think the train might have a cloaking device. The agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. developed on the technology, but it’s not impossible for Hydra to have gotten their hands on it.”
“So the train did pass by, and we just didn’t see it?” Rapunzel said.
“Well in the amount of time since when Butch said to now… It should be getting to the gulch,” Merida said.
“We won’t be able to stop it in time. The enchanted mirrors don’t travel that far and Walt can’t use up his strength to take us everywhere. We’re gonna have to intercept Hydra at Thunder Mesa.”
“I know a canyon that’s a faster route to the ghost town,” the Lone Ranger said.
“Appreciate it, ranger,” Steve said. The Lone Ranger took Butch by his collar and dragged him to the prison. Steve turned to Merida. “So, how’s Mickey been since he came back.”
Merida rolled her eyes and started toward the horses they rode into town with. “I don’t blame you lot for what happened anymore, relax.”
Steve laughed. “Either way, it was still a relief to hear he’s back and well.”
“He’s fine. We’ve restored balance between us and the Wasteland, so Mickey can finally have a solid relationship with his brother. I think he’s just happy it all worked out.”
“And Oswald’s feeling on Walt being present?”
“Still unclear… A lot’s happened here that he doesn’t know.”
As they approached the horses, Merida climbed up with ease while Steve struggled a bit. “And this boy, Sora?”
“He’s awake now, but he’s still weak. He probably won’t be much help for a little while.”
“Well, I hope the best for him.” They rode their horses and made their way outside the town, stopping to wait for the Ranger. “There are talks over in our world that the Defenders have a way to lock the gates permanently. If not, at least a way to keep our Villains out.”
“Oh really?”
“Yeah. Some S.H.I.E.L.D. agents are calling it the ‘Secret Weapon’.”
“Secret Weapon.” Merida nodded, chuckling. “And what, you think it’s Sora?”
The Captain shrugged. “I think that there may be more than one reason a Keyblade Master with the power to access any lock in any world is still in a world he shouldn’t be in.”
“Perceptive,” Merida said. “But say it is valid, gotta keep things like this hush, hush. Else, the wrong people might find out.”
“I respect that.,” Steve nodded. “Speaking from experience, if you’ve got information worth keeping you trust no one with it.”
Merida nodded. She looked at Steve. “You know we’re gonna go up against Red Skull.”
“Yep.”
“We’re also gonna be going up against a lot of people associated with Hydra.”
“Yes.” Steve looked at her curiously.
Merida hesitated. “Including the Winter Soldier.”
Steve tensed. He nodded again. “I know.”
“You don’t need to come with us…”
He shook his head. “No, I’m the only one who can fight Bucky. I’m the only one who can give you a chance against Skull. Besides, if you do have a plan to stop this madness, I want to help in any way I can.” Merida nodded. Steve turned to her. “Thank you, though.”
Merida smiled. “I understand it completely.”
_________________________________________________________
The gulch opened up as the train rounded the corner, crossing a bridge that overlooked a desert trench. Red Skull pulled away from the view and turned to the map of Frontierland on a board he had up on the other side of the room. “Secret Weapon… The Defenders hope to keep us out. It is nothing compared to what we have planned. So much more…”
“Sir,” Red Skull turned to see the Winter Soldier before him.
He turned to the Soldier. “What do you want?”
“The Mountain will be close soon. I doubt the Defenders don’t know we’re coming at this point.”
“Butch Cavendish?”
“Just as predicted. I should’ve handled him.”
“It doesn’t matter. We knew when we started this mission that we would not be leaving free men. No, the point isn’t to get away with a crime. Our leader wants us to accomplish something much more valuable.” He turned back to the board. “Leverage. A Secret Weapon for another Secret Weapon.”
The Soldier blinked. “Sir… We’re going to use him?”
“No, they will. When they do, they will be in for a rude awakening. The poor fools think they can win against us. And in the end, they will lose everything. Death will have her sacrifice…” Thunder Mountain was in view from the windows. Red Skull grinned. “...and Thanos will have his Magic Kingdom.”
_________________________________________________________
Thunder Mesa was a grey, dismal mining town at the base of Big Thunder Mountain. It was one of the first places created when the Kingdom was founded, but eventually abandoned after the land expanded and a massive earthquake commenced at the creation of Phantom Manor. No one had been there for years. Now, Rapunzel and Wreck-It Ralph were its honored guests. Rapunzel walked past the train station and made way to the town square. “This place is so deserted.
“That’s kinda what a ghost town implies, Punz.” Rapunzel turned to see Merida and Captain America leaving a rundown saloon. “It seems like the train’s not here yet.”
“Well still,” Rapunzel said. “I told Ralph to check out the station.”
“Then let’s go see if he’s found anything,” Captain said.
The three walked back to the train station and entered the loading platform. Ralph was on the train tracks, searching the ground. Merida chuckled. “So Ralph, what do your wrecker’s senses detect?”
“Hilarious,” Ralph replied flatly. “Something’s out of place…” He stood up and moved to the side. “I think…” He then quickly jumped back to where he was standing. “A cloaking device!”
“Wait what?”
Ralph walked forward and placed his hands on something that seemed invisible. He then seemed to hoist himself up and was walking in midair. He continued forward and placed his hands on a wall and start feeling it. He then grabbed onto something and pulled, opening a door.
“The Hydra steam engine is invisible.”
“The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have come across Hydra facilities with cloaking technology,” Steve said.
“So, they’re already here,” Rapunzel groaned.
“And the train probably did pass by Old Saddles,” Merida added, “and we just didn’t see it.”
They looked up at the peak of Thunder Mountain. Steve sighed. “So we have to go up there?”
“No,” Merida said. “Well, hopefully not. But for now, we have to assume they’re headed to the Underworld. To find Hades.”
_________________________________________________________
Red Skull and the Winter Soldier traveled up the integrated mining system, along the mining cart tracks. The Soldier was carrying a medium-sized bright red metallic case that carried a round emblem in its top right corner. “What exactly is this stupid thing necessary for?”
“I would’ve figured you would’ve been smarter than that. The Defenders will treat our little surprise with care. This is intentional. An old Hydra ruse, something we know best.”
“Okay… what is it?”
“Not relevant information.”
“So you don’t know.” Red Skull sighed. “Thanos doesn’t tell any of us anything does he?”
“You are on the lower end of the totem pole, I don’t need to tell you anything.” The end of the tunnel opened into a large, wide cavern with tunnels lining shelves of sedimentary rock on two ledges - the one Skull and the Winter Soldier were, and another that was on the other side of a bottomless chasm below the two ledges. “Now, the Underworld is below us, which means we go down.”
“Sir,” the Soldier said. Red Skull looked to the other ledge and saw people running toward them.
Red Skull laughed. “Well! If it isn’t my old foe Captain America! Being accompanied by cartoonish company as well.”
“Not one step further, Red Skull!” Merida shouted, drawing an arrow.
“Or what? I don’t see how you can get to me all the way over there.”
Rapunzel gripped her hair and readied to swing it onto a support beam above. “We can improvise!”
Red Skull looked at them and grinned. He turned to the Winter Soldier. “Amuse them.”
As Skull turned to one of the nearby tunnels, the Winter Soldier aimed a handgun at them and began shooting. Merida started flinging arrows and Captain America ran forward, throwing his shield at the Soldier, who swerved out of the way. While the Soldier was distracted by avoiding hits and arrows, Rapunzel threw her hair up to the support beams and swung over to the other ledge.
She turned to Ralph. “You need me to--”
“Nah! I’m good!” He then grabbed Merida who shouted at him, and jumped across the chasm, landing firmly on his feet.
Merida pushed his arm away and scoffed. “Do not do that again!” She then resumed shooting arrows. Cap’s shield came back around and whacked the Winter Soldier in the head. The red suitcase he was carrying fell to the ground and Rapunzel ran to it.
“What is this?” She said as she crouched down to it. Suddenly, Soldier stood back up and hit her across the face. He grabbed the suitcase and dodged to a lever, then pulled on it. The mining system turned on, and he hopped into a mine cart that began moving forward.
“He’s getting away!” Merida said, jumping into the next cart. She grabbed Rapunzel as she passed and the cart was off.
Rapunzel began reeling in her long hair, which was waving crazily behind her. “Okay, genius! What now?”
Merida looked at him. “We catch him!”
Rapunzel looked forward and her face grew pale. “That might be harder than you think it’ll be…” Merida looked forward to see a tunnel leading outside, revealing an insane twisting and turning roller coaster in a large canyon.
The two screamed as they plummeted into the canyon on the wildest ride in the wilderness.
_________________________________________________________
The mining cart went round tight corners and through echoing tunnels at high speed, the girls screaming the entire time. Passing by mountain goats and abandoned caravans, Merida looked around and noticed crates of TNT and groaned knowing what she had to do.
She unsheathed an arrow carefully and aimed it. Rapunzel looked at her. "What are you doing?!" As they passed the crates and distance grew, Merida let the arrow go. "What are you--!" Rapunzel shouted.
The arrow hit the smaller crate and all at once they all exploded, sending a force that show the cart forward much faster. The Winter Soldier turned and saw that they were getting closer to him. He looked around and saw a split track. The track was currently set to go right, away from a collapsed tunnel.
He took out a handgun and aimed at the lever that controlled the track. Rounding the track, he shot the lever back, changing the track's course. The mining cart's speed took the turn sharply, forcing it off the track and rolling toward the Soldier even faster.
Rapunzel's scream was piercing as she gripped the edges of the cart tightly. Merida was gripping Rapunzel tightly as their cart collided with the Winter Soldier's. Merida then reached up and lifted up onto the side of the cart. She pulled out a sword and brought it down onto the Soldier's mechanical arm.
He uppercut but Merida jumped out of the way, slashing at the hand. Rapunzel looked up and saw they were headed for a broken track that led off a cliff. As Merida and the Soldier struck out at each other, Rapunzel hoisted herself onto the side of the cart.
"Uh... Guys..." They continued their attacks. "Guys we have a situation!"
"Not now, Punz!" Merida shouted.
Rapunzel sighed and took out her frying pan. She threw it at the Soldier's head, whacking him hard, and shoved Merida into his cart. She jumped into it, quickly undid her braids and bundled up her hair.
Merida looked straight and gasped. "Wha--!"
"No time! Hang on!" The other two gripped the mining cart, Merida took hold of Rapunzel's waist. Rapunzel's hair wrapped around the lantern post at the edge of the cliff and pulled.
As the cart went off the cliff, they went around in the air, Rapunzel controlling their momentum. The cart was gliding to a track riding on a bridge. As it crashed onto the bridge, the support beams began to rock and crack beneath them. They bumped onto the track and were suspended forward by the collapse of the bridge.
Rapunzel tugged her hair and it unwrapped from the lantern post. She turned around and saw the Winter Soldier holding Merida tightly, a gun to her head. "End of the line, Defenders!"
"What? We just saved your sorry--!"
"With adequate leverage, you're gonna tell me about a certain bit of sensitive information!"
"No way!"
He buried the gun into Merida's hair.
Rapunzel glared. She sighed. "What do you want?"
"Tell me about the Secret Weapon!"
Rapunzel blinked. "Secret Weapon?"
"Our employer is interested in knowing who or what you plan on using to severe the connection between your world and our world!"
Rapunzel grinned. "Oh... Our Secret Weapon... Well, if you wanna know so bad you're gonna have to come with us!"
"I will not be taken in by the likes of you!"
"I don't think you're gonna have a say!" She held her hand out.
He raised an eyebrow. "Wha--"
Something whacked the back of his head and he fell forward. Merida slipped out of his arms and grabbed her bow and arrows. The mining cart stumbled as the collapsing bridge pushed them over the edge of the cliff and they sped down the track into a tunnel.
Merida began pulling in Rapunzel's hair as both saw inside the tunnel -- a split track that led downward.
_________________________________________________________
Hades exploded in a fit of rage. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN OUR BORDER HAS BEEN BREACHED?!"
"Well, sir," Yzma said. "This isn't nearly as bad as it sounds. One of our own may have just forgot to submit identification on entry. It is quite a flawed system--"
"THEN GO AND FIND OUT!"
"Not necessary." The doors to Hades' chamber opened and Red Skull walked in.
"Not this swan song," Hades groaned. He looked at Yzma. "Well? Go!" Yzma bowed and left.
"The last time my kind were here, Jafar's was second in command," Skull said.
"Regime changes when people choose what their sides are." Hades sat on his throne. "What do you want? It's not like you can make me any offer. I'm in charge of the Villains."
"My interests are not in world domination. That is not the Hydra way, at least not in that fashion. I simply desire one thing."
"And what would that be?"
"The thing that the Defenders are hiding from us. Three individuals of extraordinary quality. My sources say they entrusted you to contain them."
"Oh. Tiny Tim and his cohorts, Blondie and Beatnik. Of course I can show you. But for a price."
"Of course." Red skull pulled a large red suitcase from his coat. "The Defenders believe they're chasing this with my soldier. But I know better. We desire a Secret Weapon, to have it we will need all kinds of available deception."
"Now, where did you sly dogs get this big boy?" Hades looked impressed.
"My employer doesn't reveal his secrets."
Hades smiled and got up from his throne. "Follow me." Hades led Red Skull down a chamber of bones and took to him to a pair of stone double doors. "Now, be discreet. I'm expecting a payment for my services."
"Don't worry, death god," Red Skull said. "You will be paid well."
The doors opened and Red Skull walked in. He looked around and turned to Hades. Hades nodded. "It was a pleasure doing business with you. You tell Loki for me: if the Defenders hadn't intervened, I would've double crossed him before he ever got a chance to." The doors closed suddenly and there was movement behind Red Skull.
He turned around as a girl ran forward flinging small orbs into the air. Someone in a dragon costume jumped down shooting fire out of the costume's mouth and making the orbs explode into a blue mist, making the gravity lighter.
Red Skull lifted into the air, taking out two handguns, but was brought down by a black mass. He was pinned the floor by what seemed like tiny black robots magnetically synced together. As he scratched at them to get them off, a boy in purple gear came up to him grinning.
"What is this?!"
"I call them Microbots," the boy said. He rested on them. "I think the name's gonna catch on. Name's Hiro. And I guess you could say you're the first guy to get taken down by Big Hero 6."
_________________________________________________________
Rapunzel rested on the railing just outside of Casey’s Corner overlooking the green slope that dipped into the lake in front of the Castle. She looked at the large red suitcase, raising an eyebrow. What was it? It seemed familiar, but she couldn’t put a finger on it.
A loud groan came from down Main Street and Rapunzel leaned over the railing to get a better view. Elsa had her hands on her back and was stretching as she, Jack and Stitch were approaching Casey’s. Rapunzel smiled. “About time you guys showed up!”
Elsa glared at her. “Not right now… Still sore from being turned from paper and ink into an actual person.
“Oh yeah. Chrona said that would be a side effect.”
Jack winced as he began to lean on the railing when they reached her. “Magneto has been detained successfully and Chrona and her little… People… Will be tightening security.”
“Good.” Merida and Ralph came out of Casey’s with a handful of hot dogs. “Thanks, Merida!”
“Today has been way too long!” Merida said, handing a hot dog to Elsa.
“Seriously it’s like an entire month went by with nothing,” Elsa said.
“Not completely nothing!” Rapunzel patted the suitcase. “We got this from Red Skull and the Winter Soldier. Captain America will be taking them both to S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters personally. Bucky Barnes will be put into a rehab facility. Meanwhile, Walt says this thing is apparently from our world by design.”
“What does that mean?” Elsa talked through a mouth full of hot dog.
Rapunzel shrugged. “Beats me. I think it means it’s from a Disney movie.”
“Then how’d it get into Red Skull’s hands?” Jack said.
“We’ll find out soon enough,” Merida replied.
“I just wanna know what it is…” Rapunzel said, picking it up and studying it.
“I believe I can answer that!” They all turned to three kids coming up to them.
Rapunzel smiled. “Oh! Hiro, Honey Lemon, Fred!” She put the suitcase on the ground and walked up to them, hugging all of them. “Thank you so much for your help!”
“Anytime, Rapunzel,” Honey said. “We’re just glad you guys helped us when we first got here.”
“We’re Defenders,” Elsa said. “It’s our job. Besides, I’ve been in your position before. The best thing for a case of temporary memory loss is to be with people who understand you.” She smiled.
“Well, let us return the favor, amigos,” Fred said.
“We may not know much of our movie,” Hiro said, “but I know we’ve seen that thing before.” He walked up to the red suitcase.
“Really? What is it?” Jack asked.
Hiro walked up to him and held out his hand. “Have a dagger?”
Jack fished out a dagger from his coat pocket and handed it to him. Hiro took Merida’s hand and cut it down the middle. Merida screeched. “Ow! What’s the big idea nerd hair?!”
Suddenly, the suitcase clicked open, revealing a big, white balloon coming out and expanding. It stood tall and bright and once done inflating, it blinked and looked down at them all. It then looked down at the ground and stepped out of the opened suitcase. It looked up to Merida and walked over to her. It raised a hand up and waved. “Hello. I am Baymax, your personal healthcare companion.”
“Oh so this is the famous Baymax everyone’s been talking about,” Elsa said in a wide grin.
“Hey, buddy,” Hiro said. Baymax looked at him. “We’ve been looking everywhere for you! I guess Hydra got to you first.”
“I suppose his case just happened to pop up at the wrong place and the wrong time,” Rapunzel said. “It’s possible Red Skull came across this and decided to try and smuggle him into Marvel in order to run experiments.”
“Red Skull showed signs of highly volatile radiation. Under normal circumstances, the average human would not have survived that, which suggests an abnormality in his blood and DNA.” Baymax blinked.
“Goodie for us,” Merida groaned. “Can you patch up my hand or what, Jarvis?”
“J.A.R.V.I.S. is a butler program created by Tony Stark. I am not a butler unit, rather a healthcare unit.”
“Sarcasm. I was being -- You know what nevermind. Just fix me.”
Baymax took her hand and scanned it. “This shows signs of a minor injury involving a cut hand. It is imperative, but not dire, to prevent bleeding and the wound to get infected. I will spray a mild dosage of rubbing alcohol in order to rid the wound of any bacteria it has thus far been exposed to. I will also provide a band-aid and allow the natural healing process to occur.” He held her hand steady, pointed a finger above the wound and began spraying the rubbing alcohol. Merida yelped. “This might sting a little.”
“I didn’t notice!” Merida shouted.
After finishing the spray, a circle popped out of the palm of his hand and out came a round band-aid. He peeled the film off its back and gently placed in on Merida’s cut. “My diagnosis is to allow the wound to heal. Do not use your hand in any intense training or physical activity, for at least a week and a half. I do not seem to see any other signs of injury that need immediate attention. Bruising and strained muscles, but nothing that needs attention. If you are ready, all you need to say is that you are satisfied with your care.”
“No! No, no buddy!” Hiro jumped up. “Not when I just got you back! I’ve still got your suit back at Defenders HQ!”
“We promise to help you guys get back together with your other teammates,” Elsa said.
“And Tadashi, right?”
The six looked down. Elsa sucked in a breath. “I’m afraid, Hiro… It’s not that simple… If someone dies sometime before the ending then it’s not likely they’ll be alive in this world. They kinda stay in the ground.” Hiro looked hurt by the statement. He took a step back as it started sinking in. “Look, I know the feeling. I would want to see my parents again, but I can’t. We can talk more about this later but right now we need to focus on getting the rest of Big Hero 6 together before something bad is going to happen with the Marvel villains.”
“Yes, Hiro,” Honey said. “Remember what Red Skull said when he came to Hades? There’s a bigger player in this Marvel thing and we need to focus all our strength on making sure the big plan doesn’t include us.”
Hiro sniffed. “Yeah. Okay. With Baymax, at least I can set up his scanner to search for Go Go and Wasabi.”
Elsa hugged Hiro, who closed his eyes and hugged back. Rapunzel and Honey Lemon came up and joined the hug. Stitch wrapped himself around Rapunzel’s leg as Ralph picked them all up and wrapped tightly with his arms. Baymax came up behind him and also wrapped his arms around them.
They all stayed in the hug, tightly enjoying this moment that they knew would last a long time after this all passed. They all made new friends in the past few days. And they were all going to be together for years.

“So,” Nick Fury said as he moved his pawn forward on the chessboard split by a two-way mirror that showed both the Disney and Marvel worlds. “Big Hero 6 is rounding up their numbers.”
Mickey moved up his bishop and took the pawn. “Yep.”
“And what exactly do you need me for about it?”
“I think…” Mickey said. “That if Red Skull had Baymax, then that means Thanos’s intended move was to always use our own characters against us.”
“Was that their big plan the last time something major happened over there?”
“A distraction. I don’t think Thanos wanted Loki to succeed.”
Fury looked at him. “You think Thanos knew Baymax would appear in my world?”
“Not would. Did.”
Nick Fury moved his queen up and took the bishop. “How would that even be possible?”
“Elsa was created before her time.”
“Yeah, cause your head honcho thought she was good enough to make the elite. What’s the point of a fluffy marshmallow robot in this universe?”
“For what it represents,” Mickey said. “I’m not saying I know this for sure, but it’s possible that the connection the mirror has established with the Infinity Gauntlet allows both to pick and choose who they want to access each world.”
“You say that as if both have sentience.”
“But don’t they?” Fury looked at him intently. “How is it determined that your people show up? Your all based on a cinematic universe. A cinematic universe that six of my people are also a part of just as much. Someone’s in charge. Someone’s been in charge since 2009 when Our link was created. Through the stories mapped out, a sentience was created through us and created to establish an order. That order grew and became its own identity and now the Gauntlet and the mirror are fighting for who belongs where. This Big Hero 6 drama is just the first of many I’m sure is gonna happen.”
“So the Gauntlet took Baymax, Go Go Tomago and Wasabi No-Ginger, while the mirror took Hiro, Honey Lemon and Fredzilla.”
“And it’s possible that upon appearance, the ones inside your world were reverted to their comic personalities and traits.”
“And you think Thanos got his hands on the three in my world and plan on using them against the Disney team.”
“It’s the only thing I’ve got. We’ve searched all over the Kingdom and no one has seen Go Go or Wasabi and we’re just supposed to think Baymax has turned up by coincidence? Thanos is expecting us to do something, I just don’t know what.
Nick Fury pondered on something, scratching his chin. “Assuming what you’re saying is true, then it’s simple to assume that controlling either or even both the Gauntlet and the mirror could mean actual border patrol.”
Mickey nodded. “The only question is… what happens if people are expelled from both universes?”

DEFENDERS OF THE GALAXY
What happened with Elsa, Jack and Stitch? Stay tuned and you’ll see what a Defenders’ reenactment of Guardians of the Galaxy looks like when implemented by Chrona and her team from the game Disney Hidden World, and the universe is threatened by mutants with an affinity for magically created Infinity Stones. All part of the Double Feature Day!
DEFENDERS VS BIG HERO 6
In a rescue mission to locate all members of Big Hero 6 before Thanos’s big plan to possess the Kingdom begins, true characters will be tested. Which identity is the one our characters belong in? Will our new friends from Disney’s new movie choose their toonish versions, or choose their Marvel sides and become Thanos’s puppets to take both the Infinity Gauntlet and the magic mirror that contain the heart and soul of the Magic Kingdom. And what is the “Secret Weapon” that has the power to separate both universes? Find out later this month!
The Nightmare Before Christmas
‘Twas the nightmare before Christmas, and all through the Kingdom, Oogie Boogie has his own plans to ruin this jolly holiday. It’s up to the Defenders, along with Jack Skellington and our residents of Halloween Town, to stop him and save Christmas before it’s too late.

Due to the Grand Jury's decision, I've changed the date for the comic and chapter releases. The next episode of the comic will come out tomorrow, all intended chapter releases will be Thanksgiving releases. We need time to deal with this, time to make sure this doesn't get brushed under the rug. Don't forget this.

I wasn't completely sure what I wanted to do, but I just felt that this is important for this blog. Defenders of all kinds are born and grow in this world, but today no one defended the rights of black people in this nation. Which is sad. It's disgusting. It's ridiculous. It's unimaginable. It's something that plagues our world and it's something that should not go quietly. Justice lost the battle today. But we will remember. We will always remember.

There have been problems with the queue (problems that are entirely my fault admittedly) so I'm re-uploading both episodes of Defenders' Bites as scheduled this weekend. The next one will be uploaded tomorrow. I went back to check the queues for the other two episodes and fixed them up. You guys will be getting new comics for Thanksgiving as scheduled!
Also... prepare for the double feature and the epic ending!
