the finality of it all is so gutting. we won't ever have a one direction reunion, regardless of how many publications use it as a tasteless clickbait headline. there is no reunion to be had without liam. my friend recently said one direction is, technically, a three person band now and it was such a gut punch. to me, 1d always has been and always will be five boys. i can't picture 3 people on a stage performing songs that were meant for 5. they can't ever come back as a trio because it will do more harm than good. it was never supposed to be like this

Hello...I'm starting to see ALOT of comments like these so I'm going to chime in here. I know an American journalist who was there representing a large American news outlet. There was quite literally a bounty of sorts to get a picture of the 4 of them together. So..long story short...there was a conscious decision on their part to not let that happen. Arriving separately...pairing up etc. They wanted to keep the focus where it belongs..not on "One Direction". IF anything comes out..it'll most likely be on their terms. It's actually pretty impressive how they went at this as a unit to control the narrative. Anyone who says "they hate each other" couldn't be more WRONG.

And there you have their united front. Good for them. I’m sure there would be a HUGE amount of money paid for a photo of them interacting. God, that is so infuriating.
