(( gonna go ahead and make this official; this blog will be going on hiatus until further notice! since i made the mistake of adding a plot i’ve kinda lost motivation to update, so i’m gonna put it on hold and see how i feel about it come summer time (or when uni ends so maybe earlier). i’d still like to continue this blog eventually tho, so don’t worry, it’s not going anywhere. ))

“i’ve observed strange behaviour with milkey lately. on nights when the stars are the brightest, milkey seems to become enraptured by the sky and refuses to sleep until sunrise. perhaps, like marty, they are aware this planet is not their home and hold some sort of attachment to the place from whence they came. interesting, considering milkey was hatched here, but i’m starting to think they have a stronger connection to space than i had originally anticipated.”

“we’ve been travelling for a while, but it doesn’t seem like we have a set destination. marty insists we keep moving using what little energy his pod harnesses each time we make a pit stop. perhaps he does not wish to trouble anyone for a place to stay for a longer period of time. it’s strange... i feel as if i have soared through the skies in a similar fashion, yet i am as clueless as milkey when it comes to piloting marty’s pod. i also miss teru terribly. i hope he is doing well.”

teru and i had a long talk about it, and i decided that it’s best for me to go with you. of course, i will miss my dearest friend, but as a researcher i cannot hope to expand my knowledge by staying in the same place. and if my company would help you in any way, then all the more reason for me to go.

i see. i’m glad to have you on board. we’ll be taking my pod here, so better say your goodbyes now.

teru... my dear, dear friend, you’ve taught me so much ever since the day we met. i’ll never forget your kindness, and i certainly coudn’t ask for a better companion. i will do my very best to return to you one day!

that bellsprout. i only said they could stay until they could move that giant pod and not only is it still there, but now there’s more of them??

that’s where you’re wrong. whatever that bellsprout brought with them, it reeks of bad omens. if both of them continue to stay here, this forest– no, perhaps even more than that will perish.

wh-what? you mean milkey? but they’re just a baby, they haven’t done anything wrong!

it’s not about what they’ve done. it’s about what they will bring upon all of us if they don’t leave. i’m giving both of them a week at most, then they must leave this forest along with that pod of theirs.

oh! is that your way of communicating, baby? how wonderful! i shall have to study this non-verbal language further, but until we can understand each other i think we’ll just settle on milkey for now.
