silence OOZED through the night sky, crickets & distant groans of the walkers filled the lukewarm air. smoke escapes his chapped lips, the stale taste of tobacco remaining as he flicks it, ashes gliding onto the ground as he let out a tired sigh. constantly, constantly tired. but his body aches for many reasons. ( exhaustion, arthritis, excitement ) 

he doesn’t know why he’s so attached to the devil who sat on the bench next to him. for once, the new god wasn’t SPEWING his VULGARITY. the silence was their sanctuary for that moment. rick told him to be weary, people were skeptical, they were now skeptical of him. all because temptation. like hades giving persephone the pomegranate. he took another drag as he heard the words.

“gimme a kiss, boy.”

indulgence, that was his gift. smoke erupted from his lips as he dropped the cigarette butt, destroying it with his boot before running a hand through his hair. he licked his bottom lip and leaned down --- smoke, leather, aftershave, they filled his presence as his fingers found the soft locks. oh so gently, he gripped the hair and pressed a soft kiss onto the devil’s lips, barely touching, wanting more. always fucking wanting more. he hovered there, contemplating on continuing. but he moved away, no words spoken. there was no need for them. his gaze found negan’s before giving him a soft smirk. he gave him a look. ( if you want me, hunt me.)
