1. “It wasn’t my choice to make.”

Ciri looked critically at the older mage standing before her. She never thought she’d ever meet her, the great Tissaia de Vries, cursed by many but her.. well, mother, always spoke in the highest regard for her.

“Why didn’t you tell her,” she asked, unable to keep the accusation out of her voice even though her mother would reprimand her for it if she knew.

“It wasn’t my choice to make, child. You’ll learn one day yourself: you need to let go whom you love; if they come back, they’re yours to keep.”

(Ooop this got angsty. Sorryyyy)

7. “Tell me again.”

Yennefer never thought she’d ever experience this happiness. She had just spent hours upon hours worshipping the body that was cuddled against her own now and had been equally ravished. Now she felt entirely spent, heart still racing from the last high they simultaneously crashed from, and skin still slick with sweat and warmth. When wet lips pressed against her throat she groaned loud enough to almost miss the words whispered against her skin - the first “I love you”. She smiled and pressed her own lips against crown of brunette hair nestled underneath her chin before whispering, “tell me again, Tissaia.”

“Yen, you can’t keep going back to her, you and I are bonded. She is driving a wedge between us.”

He had barely spoken as many words to her in recent weeks, Yennefer realised with a start. His words stung her more than she wanted to admit, but she couldn’t stand him anymore, him and his forced bond.

“Don’t ask me that, Geralt, I can’t not see her - she’s my destiny, not you.”

(Sorry not sorry. You asked for it 😏😜)

37. //getting turned on by the other’s jealousy//

Yennefer could see Tissaia’s face harden in rage and jealousy as Rita leaned closer and closer into Yen’s personal space. A smirk graced her lips as she purposefully placed a gentle hand on Rita’s arm, keeping their conversation going while keeping an eye on Tissaia’s reaction. The flare of her nostrils and icy needles of eyes gave her jealousy further away. Yennefer could feel a flutter in her abdomen, and wetness flooding between her legs instantly im anticipation as in that moment, Tissaia stalked over, ripping Yen’s hand away from Rita and pulling her forcefully into her side.

“You are mine, Yennefer,” she growled under her breath while shooting daggers at Rita - Yennefer could only nod, her mind already occupied with fantasies of being taken by her jealous liver staking a claim.

(😏😏😏 huh…)

45. //defending them, even when they’re not there to witness it//

“She’s so… harsh and cruel and cold! I don’t want to keep training with her! Why do I have to learn from Rectoress de Vries, why can’t you teach me?”

Ciri’s outburst was met with darkening violet pools.

“She has her reasons to be the way she is, but Ciri, I have never met someone as capable and strong as Tissaia, there is no one I trust more than her and i do not want to hear you talk about her like this again - she taught me everything I know and yet there is so much more to her.. you just need to give her time and get to know her better.”
