SUMMER ROSE COURT AVAILABLE TO PLAY NOW

Summer Rose Court is a fanmade visual novel inspired by the RWBY franchise.

In this game, you play as long-lost princess Ruby Rose. After years of hiding her identity, she is forced to reclaim her birthright in order to protect her kingdom from the encroaching Grimm threat.

Along the way she must recruit new allies, including Knight Commander Ser Weiss Schnee, mysterious faunus rebel Blake Belladonna, dragon tamer Yang Xiao Long, inexperienced soldier Jaune Arc, Captain Pyrrha Nikos, acolyte Lie Ren, and fearless sailor Nora Valkyrie.

ABOUT THE GAME

Summer Rose Court is a visual novel with a single storyline, several important decisions to make, and five major endings. The final word count is 220,000 words long, so there’s some secrets you may have to replay the game to discover.

There are also dating sim elements to the game. We’re excited to announce that there are SEVEN optional romance paths for Ruby Rose. That means all of team RWBY and team JNPR have romance paths.

The game is playable on Linux, PC, and Mac.

I haven’t been on tumblr in a hot minute.

And now I remember why, all I see is shitty discourse and RWBY’s crappy divided fandom. People still can’t just critique the show without being harassed and there are people enjoying the show who are being harassed I hate it.

tfw ur loyal to rwby because you fell in love with the characters and the concept and monty’s work ethic and drive inspired you like no other so you watch its narrative fall apart a little more each week and feel weird because criticizing it makes people accuse you of unkind things when you’re really doing it out of love but it’s hard to hide how increasingly angry you are when basic storytelling foundation stuff hasn’t been happening at all and the four girls that are the show’s namesake are pushed aside for dozens of new male characters and you’re holding out for development but it’s been four volumes and four years

Hey guys I’m back from strange unannounced hiatus. I made some more decisions on what I wanna post thanks to being in @kurapilka‘s stream yesterday.

I recently started playing DnD for the first time, so you can expect me to start flooding this blog with art of my character. 

I also wanna do fanart again sometime so expect HunterxHunter as well as RWBY stuff to start showing up. It’ll mostly be AU stuff though cause I love my AU’s and miss them.

Hey for the people still following me, sorry I’ve been kinda away. I’ve been like always doing more animation but I also have art block often and I don’t do much RWBY fanart or fanart in general anymore.

What people who aren’t victims of parental abuse don’t realize is that we’ll talk about our abusive parent like “I fucking HATE MY MOM so much, she should be in prison, etc” then 5 seconds later be like “well she’s trying her hardest, she doesn’t mean it” “My mom just bought me ___ she’s so cool”

Because with most of us our mentality is “that’s still my mother” and having mixed signals of love and hate thrown at you from your own mother since you been born is confusing and scary. Sometimes we can’t help but forgive her over and over. Especially if you have no one else.
