Hello and good afternoon, everyone! It's been a while since I've been talking much on here, but I wanted to wish you all a Splendid Yule, Merry Christmas & Happy Wednesday! Depending on if you celebrate and what you observe!

I hope that wherever you all are, be it with family, friends or on your own that you are surrounded with love and joy!

It's been a very long year, both good and bad, and looking back from where I stand, I am so thankful that I've been able to spend the time I have with you all. Exploring new interests, bringing characters to life both old and new, befriending you all and learning of new interesting lore, it may seem silly but it all means the world to me.

Knock on wood, I hope this coming year is a good one for us all, I wish you all the success in whatever path life takes you on, and I hope that we can continue to write, have fun, talk about our little guys!

A little— actually, no, scratch that, very flustered when getting eaten out. It's as cute as it is nonsensical— you mean Miss 'female-fret-expert,' so unabashed and unashamed that she's been seen taking her partner's panties off with her TEETH is ashamed? Well, yes, sort of, not really. Amity's not ashamed— she's powerless (or at least, that's her perception!) —left wholly at the mercy of her partner, spreading her open and that. That powerlessness and vulnerability make her feel stir crazy - she wants to do SOMETHING - but she doesn't know how to occupy her hands so she flits between grasping and squeezing and clawing - desperate for ANYTHING she can hold onto for purchase to moor and give her the peace of mind to drink in the pleasure dished out.

A lot less nervous when it comes to instigating than you'd think - 'Well, she's rusty,' Amity says, so what! Rusty or not, she's got skill and nothing to get wary over.

Most comfortable taking a proactive role during sex - like not necessarily topping (penetrating) or domming but just setting the pace - like, let her make the first move - let her undress your character like a mad woman with a mission - she's most at peace this way!

Amity can legally request that people use the term ‘Dame’ to refer to her, and often she does half-seriously, if only to hear herself get called a ‘Dame’, it feels so fancy!

… and yes, Amity got the honor of being a Dame because of her ‘service’ helping Unova fight back against Plasma that time they bombed into a championship she was participating in and staying behind to help a lot of the injured and dying people and pokemon

The one aspect of the Monster!Verse that I find so deeply and fundamentally captivating in how it shapes Amity and how she copes with this psuedo-immortality has to be her connection to the children and families of her half-siblings, cousins and as she rises higher into the canopy of the family tree and more and more generations are born around her.

Stomaching the inevitable loss of her half-siblings WOULD break Amity again, no matter how much she thinks she's studied herself for the obstacles she's faced. It's a loss that's like driving down an ice pick into the fractures of her world.

It drives her further and further away inside herself and away from the sort of humanity that only rouses fond memories and brings her pain to see - but the grand-nieces and nephews would keep her from mooring out too far at a depth she can't return from - and what starts as a kind of stiff-lipped vow of ' you'll do it for them,' resentful stomaching of responsibility for the sake of the mother and fathers of these people, becomes an earnest and genuine act of love - not because of their relationship to her lost loved ones, but just for who they are.

To that end, I feel like Amity would never begrudge becoming a family secret and superpower, hidden away for the safety of most but always there watching and just in reach of whoever needs her.

In fact, I think she would prefer it that way - sequestered away in the refurbished Old Minka, seemingly appearing and disappearing with the seasons and coming in like the wind with solid support and guidance and an overall vibe of hidden danger. Yes, invoking her aid and advice is a deal with the devil - but this isn't an unbalanced gamble working against you - she knows you, she knows your mother, she knew your grandmother and on and on. She loves you more than you know! You just have to make peace with exactly what she is!

FUN FACT!!! Amity actually has her own family sigil variant (because Justy BEING JUSTY decided to make his own, and now all of the full siblings needed to have their own to push their claims).

Amity has her version tattooed on her, too! A symbol of victory after it was undeniable that none of the full siblings would have the ground to kick her or the half-siblings from the Estate.

Amity's version is a mystic Kaika lantern, askew on a 75-degree angle, with a lit candle inside, often stylized with spirit-like smoke/ginkgo leaves! (though just the lantern always works)

Amity's version is also a lowkey insult to her full siblings, cause they claim the lantern and its aesthetics, but theirs lacks the fire and thus, unlike Amity, they don't have any light to guide them. (she's calling them both stupid, misguided and with no moral high ground)

Now, for reference, the standard Joy sigil is a lantern—it's just that individual, important Joys (often distinguished second sons or people in Amity's position as a season steward) tend to distinguish themselves and their lineage with one that reflects THEM just as much it does the grandeur of the family.
