Apples, Peaches, Bananas, and Pears. Yes I know it’s a silly song, but it’s literally so so catchy and Micky’s vocals are so smooth on it❤️😂

15: Best Monkees song to sing in the shower?

Hmm I think I’ll go with Daydream Believer. It’s one of my favs and I know all the words

28: Favourite fourth-wall-breaking moment?

Oh man all of them are so funny!! I do like when they show them consulting their actual scripts though

5: Favourite Monkees album cover?

I think I’ll go with their first album just because it’s such a cute picture and I smile every time I see it while flipping through records at antique stores

6: Least favourite Monkees album cover?

I’m not really one for minimalist design so I’ll say Head

7: Favourite Monkee? Why?

I think it’s probably pretty obvious❤️😂 I do love all of them, but Davy has always been my favorite. He’s just so adorable!! When I first watched the Monkees almost (ah!!) 10 years ago back in high school, they kind of saved me when I was feeling down. I knew that I could always count on Davy for a smile and song and dance to cheer me up. His energy was definitely infectious😄

8: Favourite solo work?

I used to listen to Davy’s solo albums quite a lot, but my favorite solo work is actually Mike’s stuff. Specifically all the First National Band albums and then his And the Hits just Keep on Coming album. I feel like he never truly got the credit he deserved for all of the amazing music he wrote. I’m not usually a huge country music fan, but I love everything from Mama Nantucket to Roll with the Flow❤️

3: Favorite Monkees album?

Headquarters always holds a special place in my heart since it’s the first album that they really got to make their own and I really like all of the songs on it.

Shoutout to Instant Replay though because that one is probably the one I’ve listened to most. I like the more introspective kind of melancholic tone it’s got.

23: Favourite song with Mike on lead vocals?

Oh gosh so hard to choose!! I do really love a ton of Mike songs. I’ll go with “What am I doing hangin’ round,” “Don’t wait for me,” and “Good clean fun”

Bonus: two solo Mike songs I love are “Some of Shelley’s Blues” and “Nine Times Blue” (but honestly all of Mike’s solo work is so good)
