We're John Mayer fans of all ages and in several countries, who came together to form an unofficial fan group. Despite our differences, we all have these things in common: We LOVE John Mayer, the Earth, and The Isaac Foundation. We already completed one project of love that turned out fantastic, and it proved to us that what we have is a powerful force. We want to use our powers for good, not evil. We want to save trees, we want to create, we want to use our bond of JM love to help the Earth and Isaac. And we want to express our gratitude. So we have brainstormed a way to combine these things into a productive project. We WILL recycle, create, and express our gratitude. We're on a mission, and we're taking it to the streets. Hello, John Mayer fans and friends of The Isaac Foundation!
Here’s the Spring Raffle we’ve been promising you!!!!
We have 4 awesome Raffle Packages that we’re giving away in May, and which we Previewed yesterday on our Instagram page. (Come follow us, at @jmfanstreetteam ). We’ll start this post by listing the contents of each package and attaching one picture of each. (Check yesterday’s Instagram posts, to see more detailed pics of all the contents.)
Then further below, we’ll describe all the Raffle details. If you enter the raffle (and why wouldn’t you?), please follow the instructions carefully, to ensure that you get entered according to your preferences. Ok, here goes…

Raffle Details
The raffle starts today, April 23, in celebration of Earth Day weekend which is the 11th anniversary of our group’s beginnings. It ends on May 15th, MPS Awareness Day 2023, at midnight that evening (Eastern Time or your local time, whichever is latest). The raffle is open to all John Mayer fans and fans of The Isaac Foundation, anywhere in the world. While we do insure and track U.S. shipments, please understand that the post office will not guarantee international deliveries and we have no realistic way to track them. We’ve never had an international winner who hasn’t received their merch, but keep in mind that it could happen and it’s totally beyond our control. It’s probably not a good idea to enter if you suspect that the merch won’t arrive due to your local situation. But if you want to join in the fun and take a chance, we welcome you. It’s all for a great cause.
For this raffle, we felt the need to do something really special. Maybe something that we’ve never done before. We wanted EVERYONE to be able to enter, so we created different levels of donations and customized entries. Please select the amount that you’re most comfortable donating and if there’s an option for which packages you’re entering, please tell us in your donation notes what packages you choose.
We prefer to run all our raffles using PayPal, because it allows us to track entries more efficiently. But if your country doesn’t allow PayPal, or you don’t have an account, you could contact us privately on Instagram to inquire about what other options you have. We’ll accommodate you to the best of our ability. For those sending a donation with PayPal, please send it “Friends and Family” to [email protected] . If you send it another way that incurs fees, please understand that our only option will be to ask you to cancel it on your end and resubmit it as F&F. We are unable to return the entry and ask you to resubmit it, because PayPal charges us fees for that too. Understand that you are donating (ultimately) to a charity, not buying goods and services from us. There will be only 4 winners, and if you aren’t one of them, your entry money will be sent to the charity in full. Please don’t enter the raffle unless you are completely okay with that!

Now, here’s the fun part:
$5 donation = 1 entry each, into any 2 packages of your choice.
$10 donation = 1 entry each, into all 4 packages, OR…
2 entries each, into any 2 pkgs of your choice, OR…
4 entries into any 1 package of your choice.
$20 donation = 3 entries each, into all 4 packages.
$30 donation = 5 entries each, into all 4 packages.
$50 donation = 9 entries each, into all 4 packages.
$100 donation = 50 entries, your choice of how they get distributed
to the packages (you can put all 50 entries into
one package, if you want to!)
The drawing will be held after May 15th, as soon as all entries have been tallied and sorted. The drawing date will be announced in advance and then held via Instagram Live. Merchandise packages will be sent out to winners no later than May 31, 2023. (We take the time to package them up nicely for you with JM wrapping paper and some other goodies). Don’t forget to please drop us a private message over on Instagram, if you need other entry options.

Here's the accounting we promised you. In 2022, our "store" profits totaled $141.95 USD. All of that was donated to The Isaac Foundation's MPS II Research Fund, in memory of our sweet Jack Fowler who lost his battle with Hunter Syndrome one year ago.
Our final donation of 2022 profits was made just today, bringing our grand total raised for TIF up to $10,840.29 USD.
Donations to our upcoming spring raffle have been trickling in, and we thank all the JM fans who reached out and offered tour merch for us to use in the fundraiser. We're hoping that this fundraiser will bring our grand total up to well over $11K.
If all goes as planned, we'll be starting the raffle on Earth Day, which will also be JMFST's 11th birthday. So stay tuned!

TAX TIME ACCOUNTING!
In 2021, your past donations of recyclable materials were made into new things that were resold by our cyber-shop, JMFST Creations. As you may know, all profits from the shop are donated to The Isaac Foundation, to help kids and families struggling with MPS (as well as to fund valuable MPS research).
Albeit the shop barely held on during the pandemic, we did manage to make and donate profits totaling $435.37 in 2021, which translated to $524.43 CAD.
This brings our total raised to date for The @isaacfoundation up to $10,698.34 USD.
A good part of the year was spent creating finished products for a craft show that was planned for September. However, the show was cancelled due to another COVID surge, and all the items were packed away into storage. It’s hoped that they can be presented at another craft fair later this year.
There’s also a mini-raffle coming up soon.

We had a few Etsy store sales and custom orders in 2020. Our total sales were $273 for the year, and our gross profit on that was $176.66, which is being donated to The Isaac Foundation. This brings the total that our group has raised for MPS kids up to $10,439.63 - KUDOS!

ACCOUNTING
Hi y’all
Our accounting is all up-to-date, and this month’s donations to @isaacfoundation are complete.
In October we ran a raffle to celebrate John’s 42nd birthday, and we also sold a bit of merchandise from our Etsy store stock. The bookkeeping is all current, and our sales taxes are paid... and total net profits have been donated to The Isaac Foundation, in honor of John Mayer and his fans.
The total donated to TIF this month was $300.79 USD, which brought our grand total raised to $10,212.97. This amount included our net profit from the raffle, net profit from the two store sales, and one raffle entry that was directly donated to The Isaac Foundation because PayPal wasn’t available in that fan’s country.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed in large and small ways to our fundraising, this year and every year since we started in 2012! With our help, MPS kids are starting to receive curative therapy, and that’s incredibly exciting!!

IT’S RAFFLE TIME!!!!
Starting today and ending October 16th at 12:00pm ET (yes, we are doing this @isaacfoundation fundraiser in honor of John’s 42nd birthday!), you can enter a raffle to win this official Current Mood hoodie (size is XL, and it runs true to size)!!!
The drawing will be conducted in the afternoon on October 16th.* One winner will get the CM hoodie, and four winners will get runner-up prizes that have been donated to us by JM fans: a little “Heart of Life” wall hanging made by a member of our team, the Jonatha Brooke CD that John posted about recently on Instagram (see his post above), two JM Christmas ornaments made by a member of our team, and a David Ryan Harris guitar pick. (*Each entry received will have an equal chance of winning the five things.)

RAFFLE RULES:
You can enter the raffle for $10 US dollars, and it is open to anyone in the world.** (**Please understand that if you are entering the raffle from a country other than the US, we are happy to ship to you... but if for some reason your package gets lost in transit or snagged at Customs, we have no way to track it down for you. So, you must enter the raffle at your own risk. Since we will be donating all proceeds to The Isaac Foundation in honor of JM’s birthday, there will be no refunds of your donation. However, we have shipped overseas to many winners in the past, and nothing has ever been lost in the mail so far.)
You may enter the raffle once per day from now ‘til JM’s birthday, for a maximum of 15 entries per person, or $150. Other members of the same household are not prevented from participating.
Entries will be accepted via our PayPal account only, and must be received in US dollars. If you are not in the US, please use PP’s conversion feature to make sure that your entry comes through properly. Be sure to send your donation as a “payment to family or friends” and not as a merchandise purchase. We will track the entries and update you periodically on how many entries we have so far (keep an eye on our Instagram page, for those updates). Any entries that don’t come through properly will be returned to the sender.
