These gif sets are so fun to make, really pleased with how this project turned out; it's sort of a sequel/same universe and concept to my TBC one. It's fun to compare them, I think I've improved a lot in terms of editing/tweeting since I made it.

Had a very rough day, the worst of a long while, as I drew her. Unfortunately I think I’ll associate today with this character for a long time :/

Design notes!

Honestly I’m surprised I never drew her sooner, what with my love of colorpoints.

Mostly sleek coat, sans the two-pronged cowlicks that are prominent throughout her design.

Very fluffy tail.

Pants!!!

Two “beauty marks” on her face: one below her right eye and one on the left side of her muzzle.

White tips, everywhere. Ears, tail, paws, you name it.

Heart shaped markings on her ears. Her face point is also vaguely heart shaped, but her “hair” hides that.

Whenever I envision her, I always see her with stripes. I think this is a new development; a younger Spotty would have drawn her as far more centralized in her points. But girlie has marks, in my heart.

Scarring includes: None! Soft gal.

Witheredprance!! He’s Creekclan’s deputy and a good one at that. Creekclan runs on a inheritance system, where the leader’s next offspring inherits the leader title one they pass; hence Witheredprance never actually even got to think about him possible being leader. Deputies in Creekclan are more like a third in command; behind the leader and their children. Witheredprance does his job extremely well, and is often a cat others don’t want to cross because of it. He’s stern, with a no-nonsense attitude that often scares the apprentices into behaving.

Who is your least favorite?

I dislike Spottedleaf X Firestar very much. Even if it was a short "love" story. Even then, I don't think Spottedleaf truly LOVED Firestar, I think she idolized him. He was the cat that would save her clan, her home and loved ones. She didn't love him, she loved that he was The Chosen One.

I dislike Millie X Graystripe too. They were okay, but we all know that Silverstream is Greystripe's true mate. And what is going to happen to Millie when he dies? Does Millie go to starclan and then just gets abandoned by Greystripe so he can be with Silverstream?

A fan ship that I dislike in Mothwing X Leafpool. I'm sorry but where in the books does Leafpool mention any loving feelings towards Mothwing? Genuinley asking? I think the two are friends.

I really liked both Leafpool X Crowfeather and Feathertail X Crowfeather. I think the Feathertail's passing was extremely tramatic for Crowfeather and I really loved when he chose her "feather" to be in his name. I think Leafpool reminded Crowfeather of Feathertail and thats why he loved her so much.

what do you think about mapleshade?

I think the authors took the love of a devoted mother and showed the fandom what real grief and loss can and does present itself like, especially in a character that didn't just lose their children, but their mate, and their home and whatever family they had in that home.

I truly believe that Mapleshade should have had a redemption arc or something to have brought her back from the dark forest.

As a mother myself, I get it.
