As I entered our home, I stood in our family room and smiled as I found you sleeping on the sofa waiting up for me. With my eyes continuing to be on your sleeping reclining beautiful body, and now standing next to you, I lowered my body to one knee. With my left arm under your knees and my right arm across your back, I lifted your body as I pulled you against my chest. As I hear you mumbled in your sleep, I smile as I feel you put both arms around my neck as I lift my body to my feet. After carrying you into our bedroom I walk to your side of the bed, and delicately lower your body and placing your butt, your back and the back of your head on your pillow. As I see you roll over on your side facing me, I pull the blankets over you. As I look down at your beautiful face as you continue to sleep, I lower my body and place my lips on your forehead and kiss you goodnight, before disrobing and crawling in bed with you.
