A holdover from World Cup 2022 was a programme created as a talking head space for Local and International Football. Tasked with creating the promotional material and branding for it was just fun and I got to drive some energy into it.

I loved putting this promo together and creating the logos and branding for it. It brought together my love for Barbados where I live and the creative space of trying to tie the music "TC's Paradise" and just making a promo that is catchy fast and simplistic. All the choices are subtle and right there so you can feel comfortable but it just jumps at you.

THE HOME OF CHAMPIONSHIPS PROMO

Crafting some promo materials for Sporting in Barbados for CBC is always an up and down. Trusting my own instincts and trying to work as fast as possible is always a roller coaster ride but the best thing is I can get the freedom to push unique ideas and fast moving flash that can really capture all the ideas needed.

Really wanted to create a simple design for Forde & Co. that was able to capture the host's style and essence. So the frames on the glasses were a great way to capture that identity and still give it the kind of flare that would make it inviting and open.

Enjoyed crafting this commercial and the graphics and logo designs for the political Bajan talk show Forde & Co. The host let me have liberties with the design and I was able to capture her style and still give it the kind of modern and contemporary news talk feel.

Every year Barbados stages its premiere horse racing event, The Sandy Lane Gold Cup and it is received by the public with much pomp and fanfare. Capturing all the elements for a campaign around it was a matter of understanding what the event means to so many. From the triumph of victory for the riders and owners, to the atmosphere of fun and excitement for the spectators, and the pomp and pageantry of the parade preceding it. There are so many elements that make it all come together but scripting, voicing, designing graphics, and editing it all together allowed me to create something special.

Ahead of the 60th Anniversary of the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation I had been a part of the commissioning of pieces for the logo we were going to use. Unfortunately mine was not chosen but I was still able to create the station identification that we would be using for that time. The idea was as it is a diamond anniversary that our identification captured that so I literally used diamonds as an easy way to showcase that to the audience.

Capturing the lives of others in writing has always captured my attention and it is a skill I have honed over the years delicately. Doing so mindfully and with care when it comes to certain social issues in the country is also important and I try to take my time with that expression because I want to always find the most objective and available truth and display it for the world.

So this project was a lot of fun and required a good set of collaboration with the CBC Archival department and the Sales and Marketing team. It was an ambitious project meant to get people involved in the Crop Over season and generate some income with sponsors. Took me quite some time to formulate the concept of bringing all these elements together after working on voicing this but I tried to go for something that brought home the other worldly aesthetic and made it largescale and epic. I went with big colors like gold and a lot of shimmer to make it regal and make things sparkle just so I could evoke wonder with the audience. Working between After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere allowed me to craft all the elements perfectly and brought it all home in one piece. The Soca Showdown project was huge success overall and I think the work came out excellently.

One of the many aspects of creative media work I thoroughly love is getting to do voice over and audio work. The process can be one that requires a lot of creative space and flexibility but it is one that is challenging and rewarding. It isn't enough that sometimes you are creating the visual and digital elements, editing the video and audio, or even scripting and conceptualizing these projects, because sometimes it requires just that extra touch of voice magic to make the projects perfect. At the end of the day, the work speaks for itself.

GRAPHIC AND VIDEO EDITING REEL I often tell people that I am in the dream and imagination business. Meaning that I make people's dreams become reality by tapping into my own and others vast imaginations.
