Rogers first time skipping in 50 years. After we had done his farmers walks, burpee squats and snatch grip deadlifts, he said. How is your posture when you pick something up? You could be ruining the health of your back. Roger had terrible posture when picking anything up. Today we sorted that. We went through the deadlift (the proper way to pick something up) This is a powerlift that teaches you to use your whole posterior chain as it's designed to be used. #personaltrainer #dorchester #deadlift

James working on Dips and Barbell Split squats. When you're doing a dip remember to create that tension throughout your body. Do this by pinning the feet together in front of you and pointing the feet away. The forward lean fires up the chest more readily. Try this after you do bench next.

Another workout ticked off at my home gym. There's times in your life, where you've just got to keep the weights lighter, get the workouts done and get out of there. I wouldn't have worked out for the last 3 years if I waited to "feel good". With 2 young kids my body often feel hammered, even before the workout! That said I'm slowly getting stronger, staying mobile and always enjoying it.

Farmer walks are a great all round strength builder. Everyone should be doing these! Pick up something really heavy and walk with it. Be strict with your posture and walk as upright as possible. #strengthtraining #farmerswalk
