The collar tag would make a small jingle as a bell was attached to it. Damien would laugh it off but Jonathan wasn’t having any of it. Taking his husband by the waist.  “We should be off now darling, don’t you think?” “R-Right hehe, pleasure meeting you....sir?..”

Jonathan snarled and sniffed at the short incubus, his tail lashing protectively as if he were a feline. “Don’t flirt with Damien, can you not read?” He gestured to Damiens collar.

“No need to apologize! Just don’t like Jonathan hear th-” Jonathan walks over with a m e n a c i n g aura around him.

“You’re cute though, so I’ll give you the benefit of a doubt.” Damien giggled. His tail swaying gently behind him.

“Let me guess, when I fell from hea- [COUGH] ew. Or when I scraped my knee crawling my way out of hell?” The incubus would reply, giggling to himself.

“No need for apologies JoJo, thank you so much for taking me in. Gracias.”  Damien looked around the cabin, taking down mental notes and getting familiar with the place as he took a seat. Looking at the vampire before him, he smiled as his tail swayed, as if he were a feline.  “So tell me, mister prince charming, what made you want to take me in? Most people run off in fear of seeing an unholy beast.” he questioned the vampire, leaning over to let the puppy sniff his hand before he tried petting the canine.

The demon was confused, was this a trap? Was this some sort of fools play? It doesn’t matter now, by the time he thought those things his hand was already in Jonathans. “Oh thank Lucifer, you’re a savior. Gracias buen señor, I owe you my life- Well, what I have of it anyway. I’m Damien, it’s nice to meet a friendly face around here. If we’re going we should go now, the demon hunters are still chasing me.” Damien said, gesturing his head toward a small light from far away.

For a very breif second, Jonathan was slightly stunned. The man standing before him was.. a demon…? Well, to be fair, given all that the vampire had been witness to already, encountering a demon was probably one of the more believeable things that had happened to him. 

Though- he did have to admit, he never would’ve expected them to be so.. kind. 

At Damien’s last statement, however, the Joestar was thankfully snapped out of his thoughts, and took a quick glance in the direction that he gestured towards, indeed seeing that distant light. 

“..Right, of course. We should be going.” 

And with that, the two made their way over to Jonathan’s cabin, the puppy following from not far behind. Upon eventually making it there, it could be noted that the cabin itself, while rather barebones, did have all the basics one would need in a house nevertheless. 

“I do apologize that it isn’t much, but please, do make yourself at home!” 

“I’m Jonathan Joestar, by the way. Though, you can just call me JoJo if you’d like.”

As the demon was trying to get away, he had fallen and tripped on something someone from a unknown location had thrown at him. The incubus let out a loud grunt as he had fallen to the ground. “S-S-STAY BACK- I DON’T W-WANNA BE CAPTURED PLEASE-” the demon shouted at Jonathan, not knowing who he was but thought he was immediate danger to him. Cowering under his shadow in fear.

Upon catching up to him, Jonathan was certainly taken by the other’s reaction.  “..Captured..?” He echoed, clearly confused. 

A silent beat passed, and the vampire continued, his voice gentle. “I’m not sure what you’re referring to, but I can assure you that I don’t mean any harm. I only want to help.” 

He then proceeded to lean forward a little, offering the man a hand to help him up.

“I’m- no sort of medic, but you can rest up at my cabin if you’d like. It isn’t too far from here.”

It was been a normal night. The keyword being of course, was.

Night had fallen some time ago, and Jonathan had been on a leisurely stroll through the woods, walking alongside his dog, Burly. Not long after they set off, however something seemed to catch the puppy’s attention.

With Burly’s barking and yapping in the direction of the entity, the Joestar’s attention was in turn caught as well. It was then that his gaze fell upon someone who quickly ran past him, seemingly without even taking notice of him. Almost as though they were- trying to get away from something..? 

And, although the moment passed by so quickly that the vampire could only catch a glimpse of them, he didn’t fail to notice the awful state they were clearly in. Concern instantly began to shadow Jonathan’s features. 

“Please, wait!” He exclaimed, hoping the plea wouldn’t fall on deaf ears as he started off after them, the dog not far behind. It was clear by the tone of his voice that he truely only wished to help. …Sure, it was true he wouldn’t exactly be able to help them heal much, considering how much his hamon had weakened, -and the fact he wasn’t much of a medic to begin with- but surely he could still do something!
