I am the Darkmoon Knightess, though some refer to me as the Lady of the Darkling. Either is fine. My duty is to serve Princess Gwynevere and guard the sacred city of Anor Londo. As a member of the Darkmoon Blades, my role is to punish the guilty. [An RP blog of the Darkmoon Knightess]

"Well, I am glad you think so~" Cordelia said, slowly strolling towards Meira, taking a seat next to her. She then proceeded to rest her head on Meira's shoulder. "It is so wonderful to be with you again..."
“Thanks.” She smiled in return. “I trust your day has been better than mine?”

"Oh? Just my face~?" She mused. "And what of the rest of my body?" She said, starting to remove her breastplate, followed by her leggings and then gauntlets. At this point, she was now in the light clothing she wore underneath her armor.
“Thanks.” She smiled in return. “I trust your day has been better than mine?”

Cordelia chuckled. "I suppose so. Nothing rather eventful has happened to me recently." She then proceeded to remove her helmet, whipping her hair back and forth. "Ah...that's better. I really should wear this less often. Perhaps I could take a note from you?" She laughed once more.
“Blame those damned grey-faces.” Another sigh. She sat down, keeping her legs crossed.

"Ah." She stated. It did make sense, after all. Meira was never one to be so 'natural' around the house.
"Well, you look beautiful as always, dearest." She said, smiling.
She sighed. “If you’d like, yes.” Surely Cordelia knows how troublesome grey-faces are.

"Very well then." Cordelia replied. She twisted the door knob. "What happe-" Her words fell short once she had actually seen Meira, well...'exposed'. "Oh my..." She whispered, blushing. "I'm starting to feel as though you're not alright at all."
“Eh? You’re here, Cordelia?” After calming down a little, she was able to answer. “I’m alright, yes.”

She had raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure? May I come in?"
darkmoon-knightess replied to your post: 2 hours later: “Ahhh! Damn it!” In a fit of anger,…
“Hmm? What was that?” Cordelia asked. She had been sitting in Meira’s living room, contemplating. “Meira, are you alright in there?” She asked, knocking on the door.
“Eh? You’re here, Cordelia?” After calming down a little, she was able to answer. “I’m alright, yes.”

The knightess nodded. "Very much so. If only he were alive today..." She sighed. Though perhaps, it was perhaps best if he weren't alive. He would have been devastated to see his city, and country for that matter, in such a state.
Once the doors had opened, Cordelia took note of Cirno shielding her eyes. The very action had amused her. Throughout her years protecting this city, she had been so accustomed to the sunlight. It was warmth, security even. It evoked such a pleasant sensation in the Undead. No wonder Gwyn's firstborn was so fond of it.
Hearing Cirno's statement of the city's size, she responded, "Sometimes. Mostly travelers, however. Whether or not they ever find their way back, I am not sure." She stated.
Cordelia then almost froze at Cirno's next statement. ...Go back to the sun easier...?
"...Yes." She simply responded. Frankly she had given up at this point."But forget about that. We have arrived."
The two were now in front of the complex, a large, octagonal building. She opened the large doors, very slowly, a loud creaking noise present. The floor was white marble, and the walls were of stone, very much like the rest of the city. The complex had a dome roof. On said dome, there was a mural depicting the Age of the Ancients, with the Four Knights fending off the Dragons. Four corners of the room had a painting of each of the Knights, with various candles and flowers underneath them. In a way, it almost resembled their graves.
Cordelia had gestured for Cirno to follow her the first painting.
"This is Artorias the Abysswalker. Each of the Four Knights had the symbol of a certain animal. Artorias' was symbolized by the wolf. He was unmatched with a greatsword, and had an unbreakable will of steel. He is also perhaps the most famous of the Four Knights, because he had ventured into the Abyss. I will spare you the intricacies, but the Abyss is the source of the Dark, and is a threat to all of Lordran. This world may perhaps one day be consumed in an everlasting darkness." Cordelia stated.
"Knight Artorias also had a dear companion, a wolf named Sif. He was the only one of the Knights to actually have an animal, for clarification." Cordelia said.
Cordelia & Cirno, guide + idiot of Anor Londo!
Cordelia sighed. “You make strong arguments Cirno, to be sure, but I’m afraid I do not know thatmuch of him. If someone needed to ask him something, I imagine they would go to someone else who was associated with Lord Gwyn, who would in turn inform him.”
She then decided to stretch her arms for a bit. For some reason, they were starting to feel restless. How very odd.
Taking note of Cirno’s enthusiasm, Cordelia opened the doors for them. “Worry not, my friend. The bonfire does not need constant attention, and the complex itself is actually fairly close from here.” She took a step outside, the everlasting sunlight shined down on them.
“In fact, it’s off in the distance to our left.” She said, pointing to small building in said direction. She gestured for Cirno to follow.
As they had walked, Cordelia wished to inform Cirno of a little tidbit of the lost city. “Did you know this city was built on top of a mountain? The reasoning behind it, is that Lord Gwyn wanted to be as close to the sun as possible. This city is built upon the highest mountain in Lordran.”

"Rather well. And yourself? I hope you've been doing well. I felt that since I was gone for so long, you may have slept with someone else!" Cordelia chuckled, patting Meira on the back.
darkmoon-knightess replied to your post: “Uneventful, you say? Are you sure about that,…
“Well now, I’m glad to hear that~” Cordelia mused. “I missed you oh so very much.”
“I’ve missed you as well. How have you been?”

thestr9ngest has entered Anor Londo
“Yes, I suppose you’re right.” Cordelia chuckled. Most of the inhabitants of Lordran had indeed never met the Great Lord himself, only tales of his feats. As she served the Gods, perhaps it would be understandable for the knightess to meet their ruler?
“As for which affinity I would be, it would be none, like most people. Perhaps it was a poor choice of words on my part, Miss Cirno. All I meant was that Gwyndolin had a strong connection to the moon, though not a…physical one.” Cordelia said, feeling the need to clarify that part for Cirno.
“In the context that I had used, perhaps such a term is best reserved for the Gods? One could say that Lord Gwyn had an affinity for the Sun and so on. Many of the Gods were represented of something, after all.”
She then eyed the strange gesture that Cirno attempted with her hands. Just what was she doing? Trying to explain something, she assumed, perhaps the amount of how much she knew. Not wanting to pry on the matter further, she decided to go back to Cirno’s first question.
“Not in that sense. Remember that Lord Gwyn was very much like a king, and he would only need to step into a situation if it was most dire. His Four Knights were his some of his most trusted allies.” It was then that Cordelia walked towards the doorway leading into the main area of Anor Londo.
“There is a small complex within this city. It is a room, if you will, which honors the Four Knights. Would you like to see it, Miss Cirno? I am sure you would find it very interesting. Perhaps even see how they compare to yourself?” She said, giving another light-hearted chuckle.

"Strangers."
In her time of guarding Anor Londo, many strangers have passed through. Some of have shown to have good intentions, other wishing to join the Blade of the Darkmoon. And then of course, there were others who have proved to be nothing more than tools of the Dark.
When it all comes down to it, she is weary to trust strangers. Should they wish to honor Lord Gwyn's legacy, then all is well. Should they wish to plunge the world into Darkness, then her sword will be plunged into their sinful hearts.

Cake
The Knightess is not too fond of sweets, cake included. However, it does not mean she won't eat it, should it be part of some sort of celebration or something.
