something I just noticed super late in deltarune is that when sans asks you for a favor about his brother needing friends and saying he wont be there cause it would be weird

while if you ask sans about seeing his brother in chp2 without meeting him in chp

he starts talking about how he would never let his brother hang out with a stranger especially alone or in his house and itd be irresponsible and telling us to have some self awareness

crazy how he said this like he wasnt hanging out with toriel late at night playing loud music and dancing whike insensitive towards kris and susie in the latest chp😭

He lies all the time for shits and giggles. Even if it doesn't benefit anyone. Especially so. He's not a very mature individual lmao. I don't know where the fandom got the idea that he'd be a good guardian figure for anyone

So. papyrus has not shown up in deltarune. And it would be kinda boring if after all this wait he was only busy because of some ordinary reason. But the knight theory, as it stands, does not have any motivations that could be narratively satisfying (in my humble opinion).
