“Hasbro is bringing back Tiger Electronics’ Handheld LCD Games”

Hasbro’s new line of Tiger Electronic handhelds will launch with four titles in the Fall, including Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Disney’s Little Mermaid, Marvel X-Men Project X, and Transformers Generation 2. They are all available for pre-order from GameStop right now for about $15 each.

Excellent! I have a soft spot for LCD handhelds and been looking into buying some old ones at some point. They’re totally obsolete in this day and time but they’re just so charming and are relics from a time when everyone didn’t have a Game Boy (I was that kid). The 15-dollar price is great news, nostalgia novelties like this usually go for ridiculous amounts but 15 bucks is fair.
