Norah is giving Dorinda vibes because of the complex family situation. Max it’s giving Galleria obviously as founders of their respective groups that go on a power trip that fractures the balance of the friend group. Aqua and Ginny are both from the south and moved to the big city. Chanel and Abby both have that whole mom drama going for them.

This is just my off the cuff thoughts but if I really think about each character there’s so much overlap too. Season 2 Norah who was the only one left by Max’s side until she makes up with Abby and Ginny by herself mirrors the moment where Chanel is the one dubbed to handle Galleria but later no longer supports her after the Jackal opportunity went wrong. Chanel and Dorinda’s isolated heart to heart moment is similar to Ginny and Abby getting closer.

ideal living situation is what i call the 'sitcom special' : having all your closest friends live in the same apartment building or neighborhood where you each have your own space but can wander in and out of eachothers homes at will, seemingly always welcome and never at bad times. and also all of you only have jobs when its important to the plot.
