Manikin: to an often articulated doll used by artists, tailors, dressmakers, window-dressers and others especially to display or fit clothing. Previously the English term referred to human models and muses; the meaning as a dummy dating from the start of World War II.

The various poses in the photos above are very still and almost seems like we are manikins trying to sell you something. We are always trying to sell something whether it's our bullshit, a idea, a plan, or a truth. 

We are all forced to see what we're selling is good, bad, toxic, or truth.

We easily confuse the two because they get washed and put into the same bin. Lets sort the bin. 

Provocative: causing annoyance, anger, or another strong reaction, especially deliberately.

Flashy: ostentatiously attractive or impressive.

You choose whether the individuals are being provocative or flashy.

the self image is one that can be easily misunderstood, loved, or tortured!

what we think, feel, and aspire to be has meaning and worth giving a shit about. we may stray the path but we all eventually find a way home. these images show off peoples self-image and how they express that.

In this photo dum, we see some contradictions. 

We see a window being used as mirror for a picture 

We see a ledge being used as seating 

We see suitcases being used as a prop 

We see a bathroom being used to capture a moment 

We see a wall being used to help balance and leverage a person

We see a parking lot being used a photoshoot 

No matter what, leave room for things to have adverse meanings and not just the one its intended for... There is a fine line of beauty that is revealed when the intention contradicts. 

When that line is crossed it becomes subject to contradiction

Day 3: White Noise

We revisit the concept of ‘white noise’. White Noise gets its name from being  analogous to white light, which is a mixture of all visible wavelengths of light. 

We see light seep though all the various different pictures above, whether its sunlight, light reflecting off objects, a light show, or recessed lighting. 

Light is always reflecting off us and the matter around. Light can create illusions that are not there or highlight something that is. 

With these photos we see how light can adapt and create a different effect for everyone, so don’t take it personal when the light that around you creates an illusion of noise!

Black is one of the laziest and easiest color to match and pair outfits with. Black gets a rap of this and that... we all know that story. 

What if... no... well maybe 🤔 we should think of black of being a benevolent color thats just here to give birth to all the other colors, shades, and hues. 

Without Black no other color gets form so that must mean... oh no.... black is death? 

No... BLACK is all ENCOMPASSING!
