Amami gives Mukuro a gift
Presumed context: It’s the end of the year and I assume Amami just came back from one of his travels. He decided to go deliver the gift he brought for “Enoshima-san”.
Mukuro Ikusaba: Oooooooooh, for real!? You’re so thoughtful!
Let me tell ya, just pics and trip story are not enough for me, ok?
Rantarou Amami: Haha-… My bad about that, but at least I got some food.
Mukuro Ikusaba: Niiiiiiiiice, Amami! You get me~!
But anyways, leaving the country, huh~… I miss that.
Rantarou Amami: Enoshima-san, you visited some other countries too?
Mukuro Ikusaba: Yup, I’ve travelled all over too some time ago. Ever been to the Middle East?
Rantarou Amami: A young chick like you in the Middle East?… Not something you see everyday.
Mukuro Ikusaba: Oh, yeah, the public order there does not work for me. Even the place where I was felt pretty dangerous.
Rantarou Amami: Ya got some amazing guts. Well, good thing we’re on a safe place now.
Mukuro Ikusaba: Yeah, sure. But, ya see, Amami, didn’t you also, like, crossed some dangerous bridges or whatever?
Rantarou Amami: Huh-?
Mukuro Ikusaba: C’mon man, even I, like, had to come back from a trip because of an injury! But I didn’t tell anyone ‘cause it looks like you’re trying to hide it~.
Rantarou Amami: Ah… Right, that was a thing. You noticed?
Mukuro Ikusaba: Hehe, ever heard of the gyaru’s observing eye? Don’t underestimate!
Rantarou Amami: “Gyaru’s observing eye”… That’s a new one.
Mukuro Ikusaba: Whatevs, don’t mind the details!
Thing is, be careful, kay? I’m your classmate, so I get worried.
Rantarou Amami: That’s… Sorry, but I might only get more and more worried.
Mukuro Ikusaba: Hmph… You’ll keep going to your dangerous trips. Do you have a reason for that.
Rantarou Amami: Please don’t ask me the details, but… I’m doing it for my sis.
Mukuro Ikusaba: …
I see. Got it.
Rantarou Amami: You “got it”… pretty easy, didn’t ya?
Mukuro Ikusaba: No… If that’s the reason, I won’t stop you. Well, just don’t screw this up too hard, kay?
If you die out there, your sis might get sad, got it?
Rantarou Amami: Gotcha. Don’t wanna make her sad… Thanks for the advice, I’ll keep in mind.
Post-scene narration: You gave the gift to Enoshima and talked about what happened in your travel…

I really like “Piano Freak”. Good job, NISA.
If I recall right, the reason why she deemed Eyedrop Contact lenses a failure is because she is only proud of the inventions that can be used even while the user is sleeping, not because she is lazy. I’ll recheck her introduction later, but this profile feels kinda off to me.
Yeah, they went with Supreme Leader. I mean, I wasn’t seriously hoping for Ultimate Supervillain, but it’s a bit sad to see that the dream is over now. Well, despite being not as fun, I think Supreme Leader is the most “correct” choice anyway.

NEW DANGANRONPA V3 OFFICIAL BLOG: DAY 36
For the final 3 blog posts, instead of introducing new staff members, we have a second post from the most important people. Suzuki decides to start with the guy he is the most afraid of: Shun Sasaki, resident director and the original Ki-bo kin.
Sasaki’s first comment is about how he is already finding opinions from people who already beat the game and is impressed about how people are fast (this line loses a bit of impact when I’m only posting it 18 days later). But he embarrassedly tell them not worry, because V3 can still be played in the rich bonus mode he is about to explain.
Why does Sasaki wants to talk so much about the bonus modes? Because that was his idea and he planned, set the character’s stats and balanced the game all by himself. He loves the bonus modes more than he loves the main story because the bonus modes are entirely his thing.
Without further ado, here are Sasaki’s comments about his beloved child:
1) How to raise strong characters
If you have a Normal card, just go through the board to level up the character.
For a Super card, you also have to level up the character, but also try to level up the Skill you use the most. Try to land on Talent Spaces if possible.
For an Ultra, the levels go up more easily, but you also should make a bigger effort on the Talent Course and the Friendship Course. Try to get this character to Level 99, with all Skills on Level 10 and all the conversation bonuses.
2) How to build the most broken character in the game
One of the stats is called “Luck”. It determines the chance of critical hits and if you raise it to 999, all hits are critical. If you raise a character’s luck to 999, increase their strength as much as you can and acquire Skills that increase critical hit damage, power and awakening, you have the most broken character in the game. There are 2 characters who can reach 999 luck. You know which ones. (Seriously Sasaki, do you really call that balancement?)
3) Enemy guide
Each enemy has a weakness. For enemies that have 5 different versions in different levels, their weaknesses are completely different from each other. Check or make a list online to see the weakness of the enemy that is giving you trouble.
4) Exisal guide
In the dungeons you can find powerful Exisals guarding treasure. They are strong and hard opponents but each one of them is weak against an specific status effect. Exisal Blue, for example, is weak against blindness.
5) Hidden room guide
There are some hidden rooms in the dungeon, all filled with great treasure, so you should look for it. The first one is on the 14th floor. On that part where you’re circling around the beach, there’s a part somewhere where you can enter inside the circle. The flower marks the spot. Other hidden rooms are on the 24F, the 33F and Sasaki is not telling the rest.
6) Mukuro’s card
Mukuro’s Ultra card is her true appearance. Mukuro has no sprites in this form, so the bonus scenes still use the fake Junko sprites for her, but in the dungeon, her 8-bit sprite use her true appearance if you’re using the Ultra card.

The true unsung hero of V3 is whoever wrote the audience comments:
“Sakura is my muscle waifu”
“get rekt LOLOLOL”
“put Maki back on kthx”
“Mmm… Shuichi’s nose <3″
“Are you suffering? Me too!”

So you're of the opinion that V3 shouldn't have had any survivors? It's hard to pull off that kind of ending without making the whole story feel like a waste of time. In this instance, I get that they were purposefully going for the least satisfying ending possible, but honestly I didn't get strongly attached to any of the V3 survivors so I'm pretty neutral either way.
V3 is in a circumstance where letting them live feels more wasteful, as it’s denying them of purpose.

How did you start as a fan translator and what advice would you give to someone who wants to do fan translations (and maybe professional translation too) ?
There a no tricks to starting. Just find a Japanese thing people want translated or want to show others and do it. I started with small things, like Skill descriptions for my favorite Servants at the time in FGO III Materials (Dantes, Scathach, X and Arjuna) on the TvTropes forums, the DR3 trailers on YouTube. Then my first big project was Killer Killer. Me and my typesetter friend finished the first chapter before SHSL Scans, so there was a brief discussion with them about it, but everyone was really friendly and I joined the team, eventually creating this account because of it. Now I’m needing advice myself on how to go professional.

Kodaka’s asks, part 3. End of the first day.
Part 2
Q: Have you already came up with the concept for your next game?
A: I have, of course! Making games is the best source of fun and excitement.
Q: Hello, Kodaka-san! Have you been influenced by any novel you read or any movie you watched? I would love to know if you have a story you keep close to your heart!
A: I have many, but when it comes to murder mystery, my influence is The Devotion of Suspect X. I love the movie adaptation, too. The way the motive ties with the reason why the murderer went with such a difficult murder trick is excellent. I take that as an ideal when making DanganRonpa.
Q: What abilities do you consider necessary for a video game script writer?
A: The skill to understand well what the director in charge of the creative side wants to do and convert this into a story. To me it’s easier because I’m both the script writer and the creative director. In fact, I think being purely a script writer would be impossible with my skillset.
I remembered the most important thing later! To write everything, every detail, from beginning to end!
Q: The characters in the DanganRonpa series match their voices so perfectly. Kodaka-san, did you pick the casting yourself? I absolutely love your superb character sense and the nature of the story! Looking forward to what’s coming next…!!
A: Some people are designated by me, some are recommended by the audio supervisor, some are orders from the production higher-ups. Mentioning who picked who could go bad for all parties involved, so I’ll keep it a secret.
Q: Hello! Are you enjoying playing the PS4 God of War? I heard the difficulty is not too different on Normal and Hard, so was it difficult for your standards, Kodaka-san? (I love action games, but I suck, so I don’t feel like I can do the God of War series. Thankfully the games are still fun enough when I just watch a friend playing them!) Also, Kodaka-san, do eat or drink anything while you’re gaming? In what position do you like playing? Sorry for the long question lol!!
A: I already beat it! The difficulty was just fine. I play my games drunk on the sofa buried in cushions!
Q: Ever since I got to know DanganRonpa in elementary school, I was attracted to your playful personality and fell in love. Could you please date me? By the way, I’m currently a 20-years-old college student with G-cups (E-cups in American bra sizes).
A: I don’t want to make your parents disappointed, so I’ll have to decline.
Q: Love you.
A: Loving me? This must be my mom! Mom, what are you doing in a place like this!
Q: I’m a student who was deeply impressed by DanganRonpa and am now trying to become a writer. How can I create games with entertainment values and memorability as high as your works?
A: If you’re a genius, you can easily surpass me. If you’re instead a person like me, you’ll need lots of motivation.
Q: If you went to a love hotel with Uchikoshi-san, what would you do?
A: I would fall asleep before I notice, then wake up, look at the words “Bye Bye” written on the mirror in red lipstick and answer this ask. Yes, that’s what’s happening right now.

Fujisaki Chihiro: INFP
It probably comes as a surprise to no one that I’m doing Chihiro first. Chihiro’s my favorite character, after all, and what’s more I’m an INFP. That might make this seem a little biased, but I promise to keep this as objective as possible.
Also, I’ll be putting all of these under a cut in so I don’t spoil anyone who doesn’t want to be.

Hey I saw some mbti post and I wanted to hear your opinion! 😊 I saw a few posts on mbti+dangan ronpa and almost all gave smthing different for Ko but I think infj suits him more? Because he shares traits with infj. But enfp suits him too... so idk. Sorry if you don't want to be asked on smthing like this, it's ok if u don't reply! 😀
!!! No, thanks for the ask, I love talking about this stuff even if I’m not very knowledgeable, haha.
I tend to view Ko as an ENFP; imo the description for ENFP Suits him very well;
The theme for ENFPs is inspiration, both of themselves and others.
Talents lie in grasping profound significance, revealing truths, and motivating others.
Very perceptive of others’ hidden motives and purposes.
Interested in everything about individuals and their stories as long as they are genuine.
Contagious enthusiasm for “causes” that further good and develop latent potential and the same zeal for disclosing dishonesty and inauthenticity.
Frequently moved to enthusiastically communicate their “message.”
I mean, that’s pretty Ko, no?
INFJ is as such;
The INFJ theme is foresight.
Use their insights to deal with complexity in issues and people, often with a strong sense of “knowing” before others know themselves.
Talents lie in developing and guiding people.
Trust their inspirations and visions, using them to help others.
Thrive on helping others resolve deep personal and ethical dilemmas.
Private and complex, they bring a quiet enthusiasm and industry to projects that are part of their vision.
While some of these points fit Ko, I think ENFP fits him more? Also, ENFPs are EXTREMELY moralistic when it comes to their own personal morals. You can be best friends with an ENFP for months, but if you say one thing that goes against their important moral belief, it’s probably you can kiss that friendship goodbye. (This has happened to me, lololol)
And this is what happens in Chapter 3 with Tsumiki and Ko; he got along alright with her before, but once she did something he thought was out of despair, he didn’t care about her reasons or circumstances, he found her crime utterly unforgiveable even when he didn’t know any of the details.
Plus, this also happens in Chapter 5 with Ko and the others. For gods sake, he loved Hinata, but when he found out he was part of Ultimate Despair, he started treated him like dirt and plotted to have him and the others all killed. (Of course, he hesitates, and just like with Maizono in DR1, this hesitation is his downfall, in the end.)

Dangan Ronpa MBTI
Hey guys! Been a long time since I’ve used sprites, huh? Guess I just wasn’t posting anything that I felt I could use them in. Anyway, if you haven’t already noticed, I’ve been posting a lot of MBTI stuff…for a long time actually. I don’t know what it is, but MBTI personality types have always really fascinated me. It’s even cooler to see it used for fictional characters because then you can compare your own personality with your favorite characters and…it’s just cool!
Unfortunately there aren’t really a whole lot of posts about Dangan Ronpa MBTI types, and that’s a real shame because these characters are all so great. Not only that, but I find that a lot of the few posts that do try and type DR characters are pretty off. There’s really only one post that tried typing more than one character that I really agreed with. Since MBTI and DR are both passions of mine, I figured I’d try to remedy this.
I did come across one blog that attempted this before, but they’ve actually been either inactive or really slow for a very long time. Really, they’ve only focused on Komaeda (which isn’t surprising considering the mod of that blog shares his personality type.) I don’t blame them for being slow. This is kind of a big project to try and do, but I figured I’d give it a shot. I’m just going to go through every character in the DR series (and I’m going to try and include DR: AE, DR0, and the Kirigiri novels) and write a post about each one and what I think their type is. (This’ll also give me an opportunity to fix any possible mistyping I may have done in my last posts.)
I’m gonna kind of steal funkymbtifiction’s formula of using the functions for this, but I don’t think they’ll mind. Anyway, bear with me on this. It’s going to be a bit slow since there’s a lot of characters and I haven’t even finished DR0 completely (or started the Kirigiri novels). Also, if you don’t agree with me on something, feel free to reblog or message me. I enjoy a little debate once in awhile.
Also, if you don’t care to see any of this, feel free to blacklist Dangan Ronpa MBTI, as that’s what I’ll be tagging these.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I feel a little embarrassed after boldly declaring all of that, so I’m just going to leave now and see if I can’t get started on the first one. And yes, it is going to be Chihiro. What’s wrong with that?

Togami Byakuya: ENTJ
I was a bit hesitant about this one, actually. No matter how I looked at it, I couldn’t see Togami as an extrovert. Come now, he hated mingling with the likes of his classmates! But then again, none of the introverted personalities fit him at all. Then it clicked. He doesn’t hang out with his classmates because he believes he’s above them, but his motivations are still external. I was making the mistake of looking at how he was raised, which isn’t a factor that should be considered when typing someone. After realizing that, I was able to comfortably type him as ENTJ.
