Character Introduction - Gadise

(Concept Design - May be subject to change)

Since we are diving into Prequel 2 and Chapter 2, we see what characters Ara and War will meet.

Here's Gadise! A happy-go-lucky girl that loves sweet and salty foods! As a sinner who lives in Luxuria, Gadise makes the best of situation she's in.

She was born in Ethiopia to Permissive parents

She's was a clumsy toddler who ruined her home with paints. Her parents shrug it off and clean it up.

She loves music, playing both video and classic games, animals, and learning about weapons.

She's a knife collector. Always has a knife with her whatever she goes outside.

Oh and also she takes her father's gun

She and her friends like to talk about boys/men (and girls/women, for Gadise at least. She's queer.)

Goes outside often

Unfortunately, she was killed by a spotted hyena during her outside time.

Hello Sinners!

We (I) have been working on the first chapter of Damned and Scarred, so it may take a while after I lay the character and background designs. But don't fret! It will be posted on this month, and will be available for you to read!

Dimensions of Hell in Damned and Scarred

Now, for the world-building! As you can see, there are 9 dimensions in Hell, each corresponding to sins committed on Earth.

• Ignis (Heresy/Purgatory): symbolised by a Fire, Ignis is rooted with large, damaging flames. This is where heretics and sinning believers are sent. It's considered the "main" dimension in Hell since a lot of sinners tend to go there than the other dimensions. Ara and War live here. Their job is to use the fires to torture the sinners.

• Sola (Limbo): symbolised by a frowning face, Sola is very dark and minimally cold. People who get sent there are ones unaware of the existence of the true God, children who are unwashed/unbaptised and Pagans. Sinners here are separated from each other, in the dark, getting tortured with loneliness.

• Gula (Gluttony): symbolised by a weird-looking plus sign, Gula is the home of the gluttonous. It is a very bright place, cluttered with food and some non-food items. People here get punished by being forced to consume more than they can handle.

• Ira (Wrath): symbolised by a drop of blood with small weapons, Ira is very bloody and filled with the most violent sinners (serial killers, physically abusive sinners, etc.) The ones here get their skin and meat peeled.

• Avaritia (Greed): symbolised by a dollar sign, Avaritia is filled with gold.. melting gold, used to torture the greedy (like CEOs, bribed government officials, etc.) Gold is heated very rapidly here, to the point of being always in a liquid state in Avaritia.

• Superbia (Pride): symbolised by a purple star, Superbia is the most brutal of the dimensions when it comes to punishments, using many techniques to hurt others. This is because Pride is considered the most deadly and gravest sin, so anyone here will never find peace.

• Acedia (Sloth): symbolised by 3 Zs, Acedia is bright blue, with a moon-looking white circle above. Mortals here get punished by sleep deprivation, even if they feel they finally gonna sleep, they get immediately awakened by the blue smoke of Acedia.

• Invidia (Envy): symbolised by an eye, Invidia is green, with snakes crawling everywhere. The snakes are used to cut the eyes of the envious, and let them bleed out.

• Luxuria (Lust): symbolised by a pink heart, Luxuria is where the sexually deviant and perverts live. The environment is pink with bits of purple. Sinners here get punished by being pinned down and overstimulating their groin.

Character Introduction- Warthex

This cat..... looks funny.

Warthex, beloved friend of Arafelt, is a shape-shifting demon, having the power to cause psychological suffering to mortals. He is, understandably, disappointed on their friend for helping mortals, as its clear they put themselves here in the first place.

Oh, and he loves being a cat for some reason?

This one is new. Made them since I loved the Chesire cat from Alice, wanted to have a spin on it!

Character Introduction - Arafelt

The protagonist of the story of "Damned and Scarred" Arafelt is a clumsy, cheery demon. Having a fascination with Humans, or as other demons call them, "Mortals" She tries to help the sinners of Hell, leading her to be ridiculed for daring to show compassion to mere apes.

Ara is the character that was with me since middle school! I designed her many times, trying to find the correct proportions.

Sadly, I can't find old artworks I have of her. But I found recent ones when working on the project!
