For.. no reason in particular, how does one go about making mods for a game? If I wanted to, say, replace Frazer’s voice in BG3 with my (a dammon fictive in a system that collectively identifies as transmasc) voice.

Hello. For those of you who do not know me and have not looked at my page, my name is Dammon. I am a fictive alter in a medically recognized DID system. I am sourced from Baldur’s Gate 3 and anyone in the fandom who has been online recently has likely seen everything happening with my VA, Frazer Blaxland. It should be noted that I am not discussing this without evidence to support my claims, so screenshots and a thread relating to the matter will be available below the cut.

It has recently come to light that Blaxland is a TERF, seemingly homophobic, and supports Zionist creators and posts. This is obviously an issue, especially when the fandom is taken into consideration. Many of the vocal members of the fandom are queer in some way, along with some of the cast of the game itself. He has taken to profiting off of groups that he is hateful towards, and that is downright malicious if you think about it. Similarly, a large majority of the fandom is vocal and actively Pro-Palestine, which is currently experiencing a genocide (as we all know). The fact that he has such a large platform and is using it to be vocally against marginalized groups is very very dangerous.

As a fictive of a character that he voiced, I am taking this moment to remind everyone that my page is a safe space for Palestinians, people under the queer umbrella/lgbtqia+ umbrella, and people specifically under the trans* umbrella. I despise that the character I am sourced from has any connection to him, and hope that we can try to fix the hurt he has caused for this community.

Hi friends. Apologies for not speaking on this publicly yesterday - I had a bit of a day at work, and I wasn't in the headspace to formulate a response that was coherent and drove home the points I wanted to.

If you're on social media, I'm sure you're aware by now of the situation unfolding with Frazer Blaxland, the VA for Dammon. If you are not, feel free to DM me, I'm more than happy to provide some clarity.

I create content for multiple characters across the game - these fics are not an endorsement of the actor's beliefs. I create content for Dammon because I am appreciative of the writing that went into making his character what it is. I believe firmly in separating the actor from the character, and I will continue to enjoy Dammon while also being aware of the harm that Frazer has caused.

All of this to say, my account always has been, and always will be a safe space for everyone. As a non-binary person, I am hesitant to accept the apology he issued yesterday, as it reads much more like him being apologetic that he was caught rather than being sincerely sorry for the harm he caused. I stand firmly with Palestine, and trans rights always have been and always will be human rights.

This is a tough time for everyone, and emotions are running high. Remember to choose kindness today and always. My DMs are open if anyone needs to rant or vent or simply know that they're not alone.

Hello everyone! My apologies for being inactive, I wanted to get my head on straight and be in the right headspace to talk about this.

As you may or may not know, there's a situation that has unfolded with Dammon's Voice Actor, Frazer Blaxland, about harmful content he has been following and liking. I will not go into details here as it can be very upsetting, but you can find the information and proof on Twitter right here.

As someone who is under the Non-Binary umbrella, this is both disheartening and extremely disappointing. I loved Dammon, and while I have always separated actors from their characters, it definitely has left a very sour taste in my mouth. He has issued an apology on this matter, but it feels weak, insincere, and more of a "I'm sorry I got caught" than him being genuinely sorry for hurting so many people.

My page is a safe space for trans people and anyone who's part of the LGBTQA+ community. I also stand with the people of Palestine.

I still love Dammon as a character, but this does not mean I endorse his actor's beliefs. I enjoy Dammon's writing and love the content this community has created for him. I love the art, the fanfiction, the headcannons, and the lore in-game I have found about him. I will continue to enjoy his character, but also be aware the hurt Frazer Blaxland has caused and how that will impact us.

I do plan on writing things for Dammon in the future, but for now, I'm going to take a step back from it temporarily until this sour taste in my mouth goes away.
