Welcome to the land of random. These are the things that catch my interest. Even if I don't like it. This is the internet version of the fleeting thoughts in Damien F. Blacks mind.

To all the Hillary supporters
Hillary didn't win because half the country didn't vote for her. They mostly voted Trump. Your candidate would have only slightly won.... MAYBE if every single last 3rd party vote went to her. But here's the thing you're not mentioning..... Why are you grasping at straws? She would have won by a landslide and y'all are desperately arguing to find a way that she could have just barely won. Get over yourselves and stay paying attention to local politics. Personally, I don't know why people chose Hillary over Jill. It's like Hillary suppprters are like Trump supporters that don't want to be considered racist.

3.5 years. You brought the book, didn't read it for five years. Turn you call the person a hero. Do you lack contextual info on all your heroes? You sound shallow as fuck. I don't think you care for real. I think you're trying to win feminist points do you don't feel without allies in your social struggle. Now that you know this, hopefully you'll actually know shit about your heroes lol This shit broke my heart. Shouldn't you obsessively know everything about someone of you call them your hero? Maybe hero really ain't nothing but a sandwich and I'm the one giving the term undue gravitas.
So I'd seen some folks previously reference Gloria Steinem as a transphobic feminist.
Though I’m aware that her work contains loads of problems, transphobia was one I’d never encountered. I didn’t think anyone was making up this assertion, but I did wonder where the allegation came from.
Today, I picked up her book Outrageous Acts and Everyday Rebellions, which I obtained through BookMooch … (*checks LibraryThing*) wow, three and a half years ago, back when I thought Steinem was a ~*Feminist Hero*~. It’s been sitting on my shelf for 3 and a half years, and though I expected plenty of eye-rolling and annoyance to ensue, I did figure that if a book has been taking up space for 3.5 years, I should probably fucking read it.
Thankfully, as I opened it I took the time to scan the table of contents page and came across an essay that appears about halfway through the book titled “Transsexualism.”
Oh god.
Flipping forward straight to it, I found her within the mere five pages of this article degendering trans people (referring to trans women as “biological men,” etc.), referencing Janice Fucking Raymond with heaps of praise, and writing paragraphs like this (trigger warning):
In other words, transsexuals are paying an extreme tribute to the power of sex roles. In order to set their real human personalities free, they surgically mutilate their own bodies: anything to win from this biased society – where minor differences or hormones and genitals are supposed to dictate total lives and personalities – the right to be who they individually are as human beings.
The only other portion of the book I’ve bothered to look at is the 1995 preface – the original essay was written in 1977, though it should go without saying that this is in no way even remotely an excuse – and she only very briefly mentions and most certainly does not apologize for this essay.
Which means several things:
1. Above curiosity satiated!
2. I am not reading this book.
3. FUCK YOU GLORIA STEINEM, ROT IN HELL.

I'm just realizing that I'm getting nothing from our friendship. It's one sided. I'm not sure if it's her mental illness or some other context so I'm pretending everything is fine right now. There was an instance recently where plans made were broken and I found out the night before, AFTER I brought it up. It made me feel like my time and energy wasn't at all respected. She didn't even apologize, just asked to reschedule. I gave a tentative yes because I was being nice and didn't want to hurt her feelings. I feel like she gets friend benefits with no responsibilities. But that's my own fault for not holding her accountable

An open letter to humans I care about (all 30 of you lol)
I'm sick and tired of people projecting their bullshit on to me. My sister called me abusive while emotionally abusing me. After literally over a decade of struggle, I learned how to feel and respect people's feelings. Now I realized it just left me vulnerable to being hurt. Actually emotionally hurt. I used to think that asking probing questions, during debates and arguments, was a way to understand the other person. I now have an overstanding that, when I challenge people, it's seen as an attack. I apologize. The way I grew up, steel sharpens steel. There is no growth without challenge. My mission now is to find ways to understand where people are coming from, without challenging them. I don't want the people I care about thinking that because I don't understand or agree I'm an enemy. It's the opposite. I was just seeking to learn more because I'm always open to being wrong, but I don't believe in faith. None of what I believe matters when learning about what others believe and why they believe it. With all that said. I accept my new mission. Both my hands are up and I submit my attention to being hands-off in my approach to learning about people. I come in peace. Tell me your truth and I'll just nod and listen. ----HarlemScribe

I apologized when wasn't sorry once. I immediately felt sorry about lying. Now they live in a false reality and it's my fault. But they're happier thinking I give a shit

Why I still don't support Hillary fucking Clinton
1 fuck her 2 number 1 just as much as Trump 3 there are 2 other candidates running that reluctant Hillary supporters don't talk about 4 I'm way more concerned about getting control of Congress and the supreme Court 5 local politics is more important to the average American 6 I'd rather kill myself than accept a lesser of two evils situation 7 trump out Hillary are not my two options 8 if you exclude this one political race, both of these candidates have a history of schmoozing together, voting for one is almost voting the other 9 I know how politics work and I have other options. 10 I vote by political ideology not convenience 11 because I'm not taking my advice from people who supported Hillary from the beginning because you people are low info voters. How do I know that you're suddenly informed? I don't, so. .
