I like to equate witches to scientists. Witchcraft – to me – has always been about experimenting, observing what I can of the inner and outer worlds, and sharing it with my peers. Each spell or ritual is its own creation detailing what reactions need to occur to create the result we desire. If it works, we try it again. And again. We experiment and fine tune the unseen formula until we can make sense of what is happening, and apply it to new experiments. 🌿 We have our own tools, materials, and “lab” of sorts in our sacred space. I love the parallels, and what better field of science to be in than one that has yet to be fully explored, understood, and shared? 🌿 Just some thoughts today, but I’m curious: how have you been experimenting in your own craft?

Okay so as those of you who use PayPal are probably aware, PayPal has this new credit card type thing that they’re DESPERATE for people to use.

So I was buying something with Paypal and suddenly mid check out i noticed something that said I was signing up for their credit card, like not asking me if I want to buy it, one click away as if I was about to finish a transaction for it. I scrolled down and saw a “cancel transaction” button, pressed it, and suddenly I was back to my checkout screen. PayPal now has a pop up screen that looks almost identical to their normal checkout screen, which will pop up while you’re mid-transaction and try to trick you into signing up for their credit card. Keep an eye out.

ADVICE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT HAVING A GOOD DAY:

wait until it gets dark and make tea or coffee or hot chocolate, or if it’s too hot outside make yourself a healthy smoothie with your favorite things in it at any point during the day

put on your favorite underwear, it helps, trust me, it’s an old family secret (i’m not kidding)

if you have a pet, play the “how many things can i stick on you until you move or get mad” game (bonus points if they fall asleep, extra bonus points if a family member sees you and tells you to quit it, extra double ultra points if they join in)

rip a peice of paper into as many little pieces as you can

go to animeseason.com and click “random anime” until you see one that looks completely ridiculous (or actually good) and watch the first episode. repeat if it sucked or if you get bored halfway through

spend at least an hour making a music playlist for how you feel right now and save it for now or when you feel a bad mood rise again

curl up in bed and cover yourself with blankets and pillows and put in music and just lay there for a while (sleeping is also good)

eat everything

drink lots of water

it’s okay bad moods don’t last forever!!!!!! i promise!!! you will be yourself soon and there are people who love you very much, don’t be afraid to reach out to them

✨Magical Perfumes and Colognes✨

Ingredients:

Enchanted water (moon/sun/blessed)

Essential oils for the scents

Rubbing Alcohol

To create an enchanted perfume all you need to do is mix water with a small amount of rubbing alcohol and add the essential oils you prefer. You can choose them based on intent, or based on how they smell together. These are great for Beaty spells and confidence spells !! I like to use scents with masculine energy and keep it on me throughout the day and it helps with my dysphoria :) you can also use these to cleanse a room, just use purifying oils like clary sage and charge with your intent while creating them.
