This is a tribute for those people out there who needs a song to sob to because music makes everything better :)
Songs that you listen to heal the soul.
Skin by Dijon
A R&B and soul genre song by a an underrated singer Dijon. Out of all of the songs Dijon have released "Skin" was the most listened song as one of his top picks for the fans. The song is about his relationship with his long time on and off girlfriend Taylor Clark. As they broke up sometime shortly before the songs release and got back together again sometime after.

Day Eight
For today's song of choice, it is my personal favourite. I could honestly say that I could listen to it back to back on a daily. Usually would play this song for the creative juice to flow through.
Songs that gets the creative juices flowing
Telepatía by Kali Uchis
A laid back bilingual song by Kali Uchis saying "the moon is full, my bed is empty". "Telepatía" has become a major hit particularly it generated a lot of attention on TikTok eventho majority of the lyrics are in Spanish. In the song the singer is addressing her romantic interest. However, she and this person are obviously separated by long distance.

Day Seven
Today I have been reminiscing all the good 2000 songs that was released 21 years ago. In my opinion, it is possibly the golden years of the greatest songs to ever be released! We will be listening to a song that hold dear to my teenage years and endless repeats of the song back then :)
Songs that makes you reminisce your childhood
Everybody talks by Neon Trees
Neon Trees are known for their two hit songs "Everybody Talks" and "Animal". 'Everybody Talks" is a lead single from the second studio album, Picture Show by an American rock band. The song was inspired by early 1960s pop music as the band feel in love with Roy Orbison and Motown music that Tyler Glenn's dad would listen to and often listens to them growing up. This was also inspired by the controversy that the lead singer's ex girlfriend had spread rumours that he was gay (which end up being true at the end).

Day Six
We all have had our fair share of turning up a song to calm us down from a heated argument as a teenager or to disappear into our own world away from society. Either it is to make you feel more calmer or more angry or even wanna just be alone and sulk with your iPods we all have that one song we go to for comfort. In today's music choice is my favourite song to blast ;)
Songs that you blast for comfort
Zombie by The Cranberries
This Irish rock band released Zombie in September 1994 as the lead single from their second studio album. The song feels heavy, dark and the theme of the song, which is about war, violence are incoherence with the elements of the songs. The use of the instruments: guitar, bass and drums and accompanying the lead singer makes the sound of the song overall. An interesting song fact behind the lyrics is it was inspired by the IRA (Irish Republican Army) bombing in Warrington, Cheshire, England on March 20,1993. Two children, Jonathan Bell and Tim Parry were killed. The IRA was a military group that was determined to remove British troops from Northern Ireland. The song speaks about the Irish fight for independence that seems to last forever. The lyrics even metioned. "Is the same old theme since 1916".

Day Five
It's assignment month and lately been feeling overwhelmed with a lot of due dates coming up and for some reason Electric Light Orchestra came to my head I can not seem to stop humming this song! It kinda reminds me of Queen.
Songs that makes gives you nostalgia feels
Mr.Blue Sky by Electric Light Ochestra
Their sound can be described as a unique mix of symphonic rock, progressive pop and classical music. Arguably their most famous single. the song was written by Lynn while he was living in a reclusive style in Swiss chalet. In addition, this song is probably one of the most frequent use for television show and movies. So frequent that it sometimes has been described as the band's signature song. A happy song to bop that has memorable beat at the beginning of the song that nobody can forget about. Popular movies and television shows with Mr.Blue Sky featured in the soundtrack such as 50 First Dates, Guardians of the galaxy Vol.2, Ethernal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), The Game Plan (2007), Megamind (2010) and etc. It is safe to say this song is TIMELESS.

Day Four
Hi everyone!, apologies for the long hiatus. I have been caught up with so many deadlines for my assignments and life in general :/ due to the recent rise in positive COVID-19 cases... nevertheless we shall look into the more positive outcomes that life can offer us in this pandemic and in this case it would be this recent groovy song that Elton John and Dua Lipa had released.
Songs that will make you miss dancing in clubs
Cold Heart by Elton John, Dua Lipa, (PNAU Remix)
The two pop icons released this single after teasing it on TikTok. The song includes each of their distinct style mixed together and transform into one match made in heaven popular hit song. after hearing Elton's first verse, Dua comes in with 'Rocket Man' lyrics that possibly be a nice reference to her most recent album that is filled with references to space. the song then goes on finding its own rhythm with the chorus, using Elton's song 'Sacrifice' as its basis. The use of 'Rocket Man' provides the perfect foundation for the pair's collaboration and the combination of Elton's lyrics and Dua's sound creates the best dance hit of Summer 2021. The single gives a whole different feel of old school vs today's pop songs.

Day Three
Happy Sunday everybody! It’s been raining the whole day today and thought for today’s song might fit the gloomy weather.
Songs that fits rainy day vibes
Somebody else by The 1975
The 1975 is classified as a pop rock band. Most of their song genre can be described as electric/funk pop or indie pop. The English pop rock band was formed in 2002 in Wilmslow, Cheshire and now is based in Manchester.
“Somebody else” is a slow jam in every sense of it’s words. It’s a song about wanting to move on from a lover, but still imagining them with somebody else. Matt Healy (the frontman of the band) opens the song with a mellow and chilled ambience which continues throughout the single to create a more raw sound. It grabs the listener’s attention in a more subtle approach for people who can relate to the lyrics of the song. This song really shines a light on the band flourishing giving off a more tense yet uplifting atmosphere for their listeners.
The whole album of “The 1975” called “I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it” gives a little of a depressing vibes but nevertheless is a great album to listen to for chill days at home especially for most of us now experiencing a pandemic.

Day Two
Hello everybody! As promised I will be posting today, so let’s hop on to it!
Songs that makes you wanna dance
Beggin’ by Måneskin
This popular song version falls under Alternative rock. “ Beggin’ “ is composed by Bob Gaudio and Peggy Farina and is popularized by American band Four Seasons in 1967. The Italian band Måneskin recorded the cover in 2017, performing in the popular show called the “X Factor” in Italy and from there they started to be more known. The song became even more known recently due to its’ viral success for the song to be commonly used on social media platform “Tiktok”.
Fun fact, there are three different versions of this songs being made that is known worldwide.
Original version, by Frankie Valli & The Four Season (1967)
Beggin’ by Madcon (2007)
Beggin’ by Måneskin (2017)
Personally, growing up I listened to the 2007 version sang by Madcon and adore the song much of its upbeat rhythms. This version of the song genre is considered to be R&B, Neo Soul and Hip hop. If you are the type of person searching for a song that makes you dance or just wanna take a feel of this song like how I do,have a listen of all three version!

Day One
Hello people of the internet! Welcome to my blog where i mostly will talk about music in hopes you might find awesome jams to dance, read, run and etc. to and letting the music flow through your veins.
Nowadays a lot of people these days (including me) have nothing to do. My college classes are online and lately everyday is starting to feel the same slow..and boring! So here is me starting a blog to shine a light to that boredom. I’m thinking to post everyday listening to music and reviewing what the song means to me either personally or what the songs actually is about.
Few things to know about me!
My name is Phuntirra Lai but everyone calls me, Tira. I’m 20 years old in September. A second year college student and currently attending a local university. I’m half Thai and the other half is Chinese, basically fully Asian #ALM. I used to visit my family over at Thailand everyday but given the current situation it’s hard to visit them and I miss the culture there. Fun fact! I almost went to Thailand for college for an architecture course and also to be closer to my family there but the pandemic started. Sad! However, my experience in my local university is not all bad, I appreciate the convenience of being able to drive myself and learn to be more independent for myself.
That’s some of the things there is to me. I’ll cut it there for today and I will be posting more tomorrow. I want to start this routine for the rest of the quarantine or however long it may be. See you guys soon!
Daily reminder: Don’t forget to wash your hands and wear a mask! Practice safe social distancing when you go outside. Stay safe out there!
