Since the start of Israel's operation in the West Bank, it has forcibly expelled thousands of the camp's residents by broadcasting orders through drones with loudspeakers, which in turn cleared entire neighbourhoods and turned the camp into a ghost town. Some residents reported that at least 90% of the residents of Jenin refugee camp have been forcibly expelled. This is ethnic cleansing in its clearest forms. This is a replica of what we had heard about last year from Gaza and similarly what we heard about from all the way back in 1948. Fuck Israel. The Nakba continues.

I'm lucky and blessed to be able to call Mohammed Ayesh my friend. If you don't know who he is, he is a selfless individual who has helped me and Nairuz with the on-the-ground verification of over 100 fundraisers based in Ghazzah. He traveled through whatever means he could find to go help others, even at great risk to his own survival. Biking for hours on end on an empty stomach on a bicycle he found and fixed up, risking being targeted with air strikes, to help his fellow Ghazzawiyeh survive accelerated genocide. And he has survived many an air strike. I have cried many times while listening to the sounds of, tanks, gunshots and bombings approach him, all of which he survived, Alhamdulillah. I cannot understand how someone in his position keeps going, keeps finding it in himself to persevere. He drained himself in helping people to the point of sickness just as I did. And even when he was supposed to be resting he continued to help. Mohammed Ayesh is the most selfless person I know.

As the ceasefire approaches, I kindly ask you to support him for all his efforts in providing his beloved city with another chance at life:

If you find this story funny, please read this. This is my sister living with me in northern Gaza. I am trying to build a future for her but the ceasefire hasn’t helped a lot with that. Our house has been destroyed and prices are still way too high for food, medicine, clothes, everything. Our rent has been increased.

There is a ceasefire- there is relief, there is sadness and so many other things that none of us who are outsiders will ever know...but i have been talking to some of my Gazan friends on here, and right now what is happening is people want to go back home- they want to clean the rubble and rebuild it. They want to rebuild their lives. They want to rebuild Gaza. The ceasefire is only the first step and our solidarity should go beyond it.

Let's Help Siraj Return Home!

As the ceasefire is in full swing, there are many families who have made the decision to return home. Siraj Abudayeh, @siraj2024, (#219) is one of them! Please read what he has to say about it in his own words:

"Today, we are sending a humanitarian appeal to all those with compassionate hearts: [please] support a displaced family who is suffering from difficulty in affording the necessary transportation to return to their original place of residence. Having lost their home due to harsh conditions, [my] family faces the additional challenge of high travel costs, preventing them from returning to their place and starting over! [My] family is in desperate need of your help to save transportation costs so that they can return to their normal lives and live in dignity. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a big difference in their lives and help them rebuild their future."

Please donate and share! Siraj has gone through unimaginable hardships in supporting his 23 family members. They have been displaced multiple times, lost their tent and suffered in the freezing cold, and GFM terminates his fundraiser twice! Ibrahim is 15 years old and his family is facing extremely difficult circumstances in Gaza. Food is scarce, prices are high, and there is a lack of water. Ibrahim, like many others suffering during this war, has already been forced to move several times, and their home has been destroyed.

Ibrahim just lost his best friend to the evil Israeli occupiers. Any amount of money can help Ibrahim and his family escape this devastation.

mohammed has asked me to make a new post to support his campaign. this is a campaign that 27 extended family members must live off. mohammed's sister is pregnant and malnourished, and needs a daily heparin injection that the family are struggling to cover with how slow the donations have been. additionally, multiple other family members are suffering severe burns, respiratory & skin infections, a bullet wound, and other injuries. with rumours that rafah will reopen soon, mohammed wants to get his most vulnerable family members evacuated, but the campaign is moving so slowly they're not even covering minimum daily expenses right now. they're verified here.

Hey guys, my friend @mahmoud0qassas has entered a coma for the second time due to the shrapnel lodged in his brain. Because of this, his wife has had to take control of things. Their fundraiser unexpectedly closed and she has had to open a new one.

They are starting from scratch and are in a situation of extreme need, as they now have 2 disabled family members to care for. I verified them about a year ago, they are #62 on my list. But recently gazavetters also verified them, they are #422 on their list.
