Iruka isn't used to oldtimey assumptions. A wife was a whiplash. Also, pls guess, u think he had a proper backstory about having adopted Naruto?

I always write Iruka masterfully lying. Yes. I'm also lying badly rn so there is that.

My arm is... cooperating better again, but it gives such headaches trying to sit down for a while and use the arm. And it is all rusty. And my concentration gets shot to arghl. Don't know if it feels good or bad to have finally arted smth again <.>

The whole spread. There is some sort of satisfaction to find in finishing up another instalment of this, though ♡

This is my sketchbook I keep tagging as #sketchbook or #sketchbook comic, which is where I mostly fanart atm.

A while back I fake gold embossed it (wool needle scratching and acrylic gold paint x3), because why not and also I have exact same sketchbook for other stuff so not having to check inside which one is which is neat x3

I like it.

I love iruka & naruto chosen family ok

...and then the tooth infection did not heal up but went absolute hardcore into next tooth over and I was down so bad so pain so lethargic so just one more day of hopefully getting better. I finally am. But. Wow. Recovery will be some time I guess. Its finally starting to heal, although dentist fear I've developed nerve issues on the right side that includes my dominant arm so that's fun. Let's hope it's temporary and will heal alongside the infection.

The frustration of not having the ease and pace in art and craft I had is frustrating, although I very well know that being back to this level is very much great.

I was gonna continue one or another of my sketchbook scribbly tobiruka comics. But.

I cannot for the life of me find the sketchbook t.t <.> >.<

Anyone got a bright clue for me where it might be?? >.>

EDIT found it in the shipping box of the fantasy zine, where I temp tidied away everything I had used when trying my new art supplies. 'I'll just tidy up real quick to make presentable room' way too often leads to time-consuming having 0 clue where stuff was put later on <.> It ain't worth it. Ppl visiting for casual time can damn well deal with the piles of 'I know where it is when it's all over my space and I haven't really got a quick space for it where I'll actually know for later'.

Brain.

Try to remeber that ppl gotta conform when they visit your house culture, they only there for minutes to some hours, u gotta live for days and weeks and months and years on end and not spend an hour or two a day to try find things again x'D

(If they complain, especially relatives, the day I learned to say yeah no, if it makes it so uncomfortable to visit my home u rather complain or comment on it than spend that time with me and whatever housemates I got, then maybe for my sake and for your own mental health that clearly can't handle it u shouldn't step by.

Once the clean-shaming lessened, and I felt less anxiety over my messes. I. Actually had more time caring for my home instead of lamenting my householding skills. It wasn't as daunting. After a while I even was able to (within clear limits don't ducking touch my piles!! That has grown fewer over the years, too) accept help, from those who had unlearned their pattern of _ducking commenting on my home at every thing they came across while helping_.

Stop the household skill shaming! It just makes it worse! Shaming doesn't help overwhelmed people! I learn that from a psychology radio program where a group who specialisred in ppl unable to keep up with their home and hoarders, and encouraged u to set boundaries and realise how RUDE it is to comment on ppls homes, and anyone out there wanting to help messy home frienda and family to stop commenting if u actually had good intentions.

Changed my life, that randomly was on the radio program i listened to because it was on.)

Shimmer paints simply can't be digitalised properly. Also, they can't ever be viewed in even the physical end result the way u experience them as they activate with water. They move, the shimmer keep moving about as it is still liquid, it. Just. Mesmerising.

♡♡♡♡ @writhingbeneathyou some shiny magpie inducing loveliness was awesome in these times of stupid teeth stupid all encompassing infection and all the other physical life hit me with t.t :') if I end up using it all to never make proper art but just stare at untried shimmer movements, well, there are worse things in life :')

....I'm scrolling through old posts trying to find a specific one. Saw this (from 2019 what even) and by now, this is basically my kid! Wow. Kiddo grown. They still not taller than me but by the gods do they keep comparing on their tippytoes going look mom! Look mom! My tiny smol shooooort mom!!!! Kiddo already in their head taller than me x'D

(I gave up finding that old art t.t)

They say Naruto turned out to grow to 180 cm, while Iruka is 178. Of course that was an Important Happening! ;D

...apparently the tooth surgery was kinda more major than I understood (double edged having a general dentist who also can step up his game when needed, apparently) so I'll be dragging side effects for possibly months during the healing. Headaches are the least of it. Ear pains and sodding eye pains coming and going is sucky times! Vertigo makes life so unbalanced.

It's healing well, according to him, though. So that's something.

I am making progress, sloooowly at (not quite) weekly meetups, with putting the @founders-zine Dreams of Peace zine into hard cover. The binding methods are... a complete and utter mix. None of which I've done before x'D it opens well, though! :D The basis for the method was inspired by one random page about albums and art books, out of some book on fragments of bookbinding through the times. It... kinda gives a little info, and then the (illegal) photocopying of it addded in Danish (which I as a swede kinda almost not qyite understand) something aling the line 'and then you can choose whether you make a proper cover, which any self respecting danish bookbinder of course would want to do' and leaves it at that and doesn't explain further just hot to do that in this specific binding I'm cursing myself so so much but also. Hey. It actually does do open and lay out well just as they said it would for art books and albums of photos and other display books! :D

......now I just have to be brave enough to take the next step. But. That's for next week's meeting me! :D
