"The door exists, Charls." Daphne deadpans, barely looking up through the reading glasses perched on the bridge of her nose. Yes, her heart started to beat extremely and annoyingly fast the moment Charlie's shoes hit her bedroom floor, but she did her best to ignore it. "But sure. I missed you too.."

Daphne was, once again, frozen in place. Charlie was speaking way too fast for her to understand everything, but the message got to her. What she did notice, however, was how anxious Charlie's movements seemed to be.
