outofdemons;
Because of DMC 5 I now have the PDF complete work of William Blake so that Vergil can now finally ascend to the poetry nerd he truly is. If interested here is the link to the book.

God this is such an old blog but after DMC 5 my muse for Vergil is alive and kicking as all hell. Probably will make a new blog since this one very outdated to my style and taste but will definitely post a link to it when created.

Hell Raise
@stainedinbloodyblue
The demon world was a revolting and callous realm where demonic creatures run amok. Vergil had felt overwhelmed almost when he first came to hell as his demon blood practically sang. He felt so much stronger than before though he soon came to realized that so did every other demon. This was their home territory after all, and he would have been overwhelmed by Mundus’s men...
If he didn’t have a child that he couldn’t bare allow to fall into the Demon’s hands.
It’s surprising how motivational it is to want to protect your own offspring especially when had once considered abandoning him in front of a cathedral. Here he was though in the demon world collecting territory and gaining strength while his son had to live and breath as a demon entity when only in reality was a quarter demon. Many other demon spawns would sniff out the human heritage, and some males would try to ‘kill’ what they deem the weaker spawn. But Vergil was always relatively close by crippling and sending a clear message.
However, he couldn’t keep protecting Nero and began to do so less only if his son was in severe danger. As this realm helped the demon spawn to heal much more than Vergil thought possible. One such incident seemed to have almost crippled the boy only for him to recover the next day like nothing. With some noticeable scarring. Was it cruel to watch as lesser demons try to get at his son, as they know they can’t hope to fight Vergil and only wait?
Hardly, this was a common trait in the demon world as you either toughen up or die. Right now was another incident and Nero was a bloody mess with a broken nose, claw marks on his clothing with blood dripping from his wound. Yet considering that’s all that happened it meant he was getting stronger.
“Seems another demon spawn snuck into the territory trying to prove they can take you on?” Vergil questioned, even though he was hyper aware of what happened. Even if been a bit busy having to kill a challenger that had the audacity to fight him. Surprisingly Mundus hadn’t come for him since their last encounter maybe seeming threatened, and planning, or possibly the demon felt it was a waste of time, Vergil would feel offended if was the later.
Walking over to his son he takes out a handkerchief and tilts the young male’s head up. Beginning to clean some of the blood on Nero’s face without a change in his expression.

 devilishhunter:
Dante didn’t for a second think that it was Vergil typing, he figured Nero had password-protected his phone and besides - the thought of Vergil actually going through the hassle of trying to sound as Nero was just absurd. Just that feeling like there was something wrong with Nero, and it disturbed him how underneath his skin Nero had gotten.
The mention of Vergil reading brought a sudden lump into Dante’s throat, memories of when he’d been napping on Vergil’s lap while he read, fingers absentmindedly carding through his hair flooding his mind. A violent shake of his head, banishing the image.
[ ᵀᵡᵀ ; ᴶᵃᶤˡᵇᵃᶤᵗ ]: Sounds just like him. Still overworking himself?
He knew he shouldn’t be asking, just couldn’t help himself. Stupid, he knew it. Shit, he should just throw the bloody phone away. Kid probably thought that he was trying to get info or something while the question had just been a spur of the moment thing.
The next text made him realise that Nero most likely was half asleep while texting, it explained a lot. A brief smile flickering on his face.
[ ᵀᵡᵀ ; ᴶᵃᶤˡᵇᵃᶤᵗ ]: All right, get some sleep kiddo. See you around
Now that had been a surprise, Vergil was about ready to put the phone down when he saw Dante asking if he was still overworking himself he perked up. A small chuckle escaped him as it almost seemed like the other was worried. Why would the other think to ask Nero, Dante probably never meant to say such a thing. Cause why else he would say such a thing?
A small sigh escaped him as he looked at the message feeling almost nostalgic as he remembered how the younger twin used to pester him when felt he was working too hard. Usually in a playful manner even though Vergil would fuss it was something he truly adored. Ugh, he shouldn’t be thinking about it a small sigh escaped him as he shakes his head to get the thoughts out of his head.
No, he didn’t want to think about it. It would only make him think of what he couldn’t have.
[ TxT; Cougar ]: Yeah, he’s always working. Never having time to relax nor any time for me.
[ Txt; Cougar ]: Anyway thanks, see ya!
He closed the phone and sighed despite ending the conversation on a ‘positive’ note for Nero a bitterness settled in his heart. Staring at the screen intently at the image of Dante and Nero together caused him to frown. A small scoff escaping him as he returned to Nero’s room and tossed the phone next to the teen. Not wanting to see anymore as he saw enough now that he knew how close they were.
Tossing the phone onto the teen’s bed he scowls at the sleeping teen feeling his throat clench. The green eyed monster inside finally rearing it’s ugly head that the other could actually have such a relationship with his twin. But he won’t say anything, it wasn’t his place anyway...

Take Me Home
@devilishhunter
It was supposed to be a business meet up at the bar then they would leave to go to a restaurant to talk. Though apparently, the person had to change plans at the last minute leaving him awkwardly at the bar. It didn't exactly help when someone actually came up to him and tried making small talk. The stranger didn't have any unique qualities to them or at least to Vergil so despite their attempts he ignored them.
Inwardly, the businessman noted to never make any business meet-ups at a bar as it seems his appearance attracted people. It wasn't common for people to see someone with white hair unless they were old. The fact he was in a suit helped to further make him stand out, and as he sipped his cocktail, he barely noticed the slight taste to it. As he been trying too hard to ignore the stranger to notice his drink been spiked.
His very arrogance and pride causing him to turn his nose at the plebian giving them a chance to slip him something. That by the time he was ready to just up and leave already his mind was becoming muddled. “Ugh, I didn’t even think I drank that much.” He muttered, as his mind felt so light and the room seemed to spin. His face flushed when he felt a hand on him too sluggish to really brush the other off.
It kind of felt nice weirdly enough, when was the last time someone touched him intimately. His brain was slow to process everything as his hand had to grab the table and the stranger -was this a man?- Hand wrapped around his waist. As if trying to guide him being a gentleman almost but he barely registered the man’s words. Only chuckling a bit with a tight smile as whatever drug was put in his drink had been strong and Vergil had no defense against it.
In his sober mind he would have felt disgusted at being touched in such a way yet he was as hapless as a kitten.

devilishhunter:
Dante frowned harder, quirking a brow at the way the texts were formulated. Had the kid gotten high again? Nah, typing was different then. Still there was a niggling feeling that something was wrong.
[ ᵀᵡᵀ ; ᴶᵃᶤˡᵇᵃᶤᵗ ]: You sure you’re okay? Ya haven’t taken anything? Or can he see what you’re typing?
That always was a possibility. Shit he was sounding like some interrogator. A sigh, leaning his head back against the headrest of the couch, just staring blankly at nothing. Fuck. He had to get engaged didn’t he? The next text brought this wry grin onto his face.
[ ᵀᵡᵀ ; ᴶᵃᶤˡᵇᵃᶤᵗ ]: Nah, you’re not bugging me, kid. I like the company. Besides it’s only so much fun beating the computer in the video games. You at least give me relative challenges. All I ask is that you don’t give me shit about my eating habits and we’re cool.
He was quiet for a bit, twirling the phone between his fingers. Shit there were things he wanted to say but fuck turning the kid against his dad was not fair in any way.
[ ᵀᵡᵀ ; ᴶᵃᶤˡᵇᵃᶤᵗ ]: Listen kid, Verge and I are probably never going to see eye to eye again, there’s too much bad blood between us. Seeing this happening all over again isn’t exactly fun
Watching the last message for several minutes before deleting it, instead putting his phone down.
Guess Dante wasn’t completely oblivious to the slight difference in writing and it was hard for Vergil to keep trying to pretend he was Nero. Especially since he saw just how close Dante was with his son the more he looked through the pictures. Though he would laugh at the fact the man was interrogating him by the phone even suspecting Vergil. If Nero were trying to text while Vergil was talking or looking over his shoulder, it would be a very short text.
Still, it seemed like Dante had more to say after being kind enough to say that he enjoyed the company. His frown deepened as he felt his heart clench wondering why it bothered him. Why did he still care about how the other viewed him or that his son was having such a relation with his twin? He shouldn’t care, he was married he DOESN’T CARE.
Even he knew he was only lying to himself.
[ TxT; Cougar ]: Naw, he isn’t looking, or at least I hope not. He’s kind of just nearby with his nose in a book.
In a way, Vergil wishes that was the case cause the more he looked through the images, the more he cringed. It was shameless and gross to see his son doing such things with his twin. He can’t even claim to be any better as he used to do such things with Dante when young. They were far from innocent, so of course, Dante would do such a thing with another. It wasn’t that special.
     Special.
Was that why it bothered him? Cause he no longer felt special seeing Dante do such things with his son so easily replacing him with the next best thing? God, he felt pathetic. Getting jealous of his son and twin having an actually sweet relationship. He should just stop texting, drop it and leave the building or just bury himself in work. It hurts to much.
[Txt; Cougar ]: Ugh, I’m going to take a nap I’m exhausted and dad finally leaving. :l
This was enough, any more and he really might snap the phone in half.

devilishhunter:
A frown on Dante’s face, glancing over the reply. The kid had been worrying him more than usual lately. It was why he sent these kinds of messages, to try and at least crack a smile on Nero’s face. Apparently it had failed.
Rolling over to lie on his back, staring at his phone for several long moments, wondering how to ask without pushing too much. Shit. Family. Ugh. He wanted to know but at the same time there was a solid reason for that Verge was labelled as ‘great big bag of dicks’ in his contacts.
[ ᵀᵡᵀ ; ᴶᵃᶤˡᵇᵃᶤᵗ ]:  Not even a smile from that? Things must be bad.
Then again he could just be tired. It was hard to tell with texts. Rubbing a hand over his face, trying to put it into words what he couldn’t quite formulate even on his own.
[ ᵀᵡᵀ ; ᴶᵃᶤˡᵇᵃᶤᵗ ]: You can always come over if you need a break from him. When Verge gets something in his head he gets… obsessed.
If there was a certain steeliness in his gaze as he typed that last word it was incidental. Yes. Absolutely.
Surprisingly, or maybe unsurprising, it was a lot easier to pretend to be someone else talking to Dante. If he had decided to be himself likely might have tried to block the other. Yet there was some morbid curiosity about the relationship Nero had with his twin. Though it’s disturbing to think that Nero might have a more than a platonic relationship with his uncle.
When Dante offered for Nero to come over then twisted a knife in Vergil by calling him obsessed his frown deep ends. His grip on the phone tightened wondering where the other got off in calling him obsessed. Letting out a scoff as he wondered if Dante was only pandering to Nero cause it was his son. Dante used to always said how much he hated caring for kids even when he himself was a kid.
[ TxT; Cougar ]: It hasn’t actually been too bad nothing big happened if that’s what you’re worried about.
Vergil was looking through Nero’s phone, making a face as he saw that Nero had some... Risques pictures of Dante and he wondered if it didn’t bother Nero that the man had a similar face to his dad. There was no way Dante didn’t have some ulterior motive for going after his son. Unsatisfied with having nothing and using his own kid to fill the void.
He can already imagine Dante scoffing at him, saying he’s jealous when he’s the one that broke it off. Ugh Vergil wanted to throw the phone to the wall but then Nero would know he saw everything. Didn’t need that extra drama in his life.
[ TxtT; Cougar ]: It’s surprising, how you open your doors to me. You sure I’m not bugging you?
Vergil knew that Nero was insecure, so decided to use it to try and figure out Dante’s intent with his son. Looking through the picture it seemed there were some intimate moments. With the two taking selfies together while in bed then some when out like at a park. A feeling he thought had long since died began to crawl in his throat.... Was he jealous?

devilishhunter:
[ ᵀᵡᵀ ; ᴶᵃᶤˡᵇᵃᶤᵗ ]: I swear to God if I have to hear another super fake moan from some queen I’m gonna shove the bottle of lube down their fucking throat.
[ ᵀᵡᵀ ; ᴶᵃᶤˡᵇᵃᶤᵗ ]: Anyway, that’s my day today. How’s your day been?
Vergil had been trying to keep Nero out of trouble these days which was quite difficult when kept being called for his advice. Apparently, the company couldn’t even wipe their ass without his say so and while flattering it was why he was so neglectful. The kid was passed out on the couch right now when he came into the room, and Vergil was trying to do a sweep. Making sure that there was no alcohol hiding under the bed and if there would take it to his now Lockable pantry.
Though when he saw the phone suddenly flashing the man frowned and goes to pick it up. Wondering why he even bothered to let the other keep the phone. His eyes scanned the text the older male made a face, wondering who the heck was this Cougar that was texting his son. With a title like that had to be someone older. Moving out of the room he goes to his office deciding he might as well answer it.
When he opened the phone, he was shocked to see the image of Dante being seductive on it feeling like he was hit by a freight train. Quickly moving to the contacts, lo and behold, the contact image for Cougars was Dante. Dante was talking to his son about his sex job, yes like that’s precisely the kind of influence his son needs. A small scoff escaped him as he contemplated how to answer guessing he might as well continue the ruse.
[ TxT; Cougar ]: Awww poor thing sorry life so hard. :’l
Maybe that was a bit more of himself mocking the others whining then trying to be Nero-
[ Txt; Cougar ]: I’m just tired like I was about ready to pass out before you text me. Dad’s been watching me like a hawk.
