zoe’s  community  is  split  in  two   —   the  main  community  is  on  an  oil  rig  off  the  coast  (  off  where  i  haven’t  decided  yet  ),   most  of  the  survivors  were  workers  of  the  rig  so  they  are  able  to  maintain  it   &   keep  it  running.   the  other  community  is  a  decoy  so  to  speak,   a  way  to  protect  the  rig   &   the  families  living  on  it.   some  security  live  there,   along  with  the  scouts  when  they  go  inland

BECAUSE  YOU  CAN.

you’ve  always  done  whatever  you  want,  you  don’t  think  about  consequences  until  it’s  too  late.  you  can  get  up  and  leave?  you  can  fight  for  something?  so  you  do  it.  reason  doesn’t  really  matter. you  get  bored  easily,  you  need  to  be  entertained.  you  were  probably  a  class  clown.

he  can  see  what  she’s  doing.  hell,  he  doesn’t  blame  her.  he’s  part  of  the  reason  her  community  was  put  at  risk,  it’s  only  natural  that  they  want  to  gauge  the  enemy,  and  he  doubts  that  many  would  consider  saying  sorry  to  ever  be  enough,  not  when  lives  and  future  lives  were  put  at  risk  for  the  sake  of  someone’s  greed.
