Writing characters based on myths is so nice, the story is already written, you just have to adapt it!

Remembering the days before WBY released, people really were saying everything

we knew nothing about the episode so the speculations were wild. Pretty sure there was some Rani speculations, and of course the Master but it was wild.

And the memes took that lack of knowledge and ran with it

New story idea

I came up with a story idea and it's been living in my head for like a week and I have to share it.

Ideally would be a TV show.

James Bond level of action and spy/secret agent

BUT!

The main character is Genderfluid

Playing off of the trope, what if you met a genderfluid person through both sides/ways of presenting and never knew it was the same person.

But this mc has gone so farther and created false identities of their male and female sides who are twins.

Then we have the Bond like character of action movie protagonist, secret agent or detective, I have yet to decide where he works for. (also he's bi)

The pilot ep would be as bond-ish as I can get, set in a nightclub or some underground illegal space, following the Bond guy as he goes into the party/location with the intention of meeting someone or stealing something IDK, then the gf character as Selene (f) enters as the stereotypical 'badass hot woman on side who can fight' (She uses societal expectations to her advantage, so hangs out with powerful men and eavesdrops and gathers information) They meet and talk (she might be in disguise IDK) but he sees his target and leaves.

some build up happens deal goes south

the main thing is that a fight breaks out

so Bond and Selene fight (on opposite sides but she helps him bc double agent)

and the song playing during this fight scene is Catch These Fists by Wet Leg

As their talking (I feel like he would have some knowledge of Selene

End of ep

the fight ends but she disappears.

Other things I want to mention:

Sun and Moon motif with M and F sides

theme of how Queer people limit themselves by conforming to society

generally lots about struggles of being Queer

Basically it's just a middle age bi man and his gf partner (not romantic, literally just getting to the bottom of crime together)

Adding to the last post, I think 15 tells Rogue to not call him "Doc" because Graham and Dan used to say that, and 15 has a thing for Rogue while Graham and Dan were completely platonic so the nickname was probably a turnoff.
