i have made like 57 reddit throwaway accounts in my life because my only use for reddit is to login once a year to pose niche questions to a sub i assume is compromised of mostly autistic dads desperate to impart their knowledge upon anyone who will listen. when i got my first fisheries job the equipment list my boss sent me just said “knife.” i emailed back asking what kind of knife and he replied “any knife.” i got on reddit and went to some sub about fish and i said “i got a hatchery job in alaska. what knife do i need for multipurpose use. a knife that does it all.” one guy responded in ten minutes breaking down everything about knives & salmon work. gave me a better idea of my job than the interview did. then he recommended a single knife and like twenty other people replied after him “this is the correct knife. no notes.”

buck buying an expensive hildy coffee maker for eddie as he’s a known technophobe and doing it as a joke but also eddie mentioned once in said episode that he wanted to buy an expensive hildy coffee maker because he kept seeing commercials for it and then in said episode buck not only randomly buys said expensive coffee maker that eddie wanted but as a joke he makes sure christopher was involved in said joke of a random package arriving at eddie’s house like that’s literally father and son playing a joke on dad and christopher calling buck to tell him “we got him” is so precious and then how buck is on the phone like “yeah we got him good. oh, man, I wish i could see his face” and eddie taking the phone from christopher and then buck acting like a middle school girl with a crush when he hears eddie on the phone after their joke was revealed to eddie like please you can’t make this up
