LAST FOLLOW UP I wasn’t even thinking of it at the time but his final response was pretty terrible too-“and was told I’m homophobic/transphobic/apolitical by the people I’ve fought for” reeks of white allyship. Harassments bad but Brian’s tweet was tone deaf af and while it’s not good to send threats to him white people have a tendency to call any sort of criticism harassment. Especially white people who think they’re woke. Anyway twitter is a political hellscape but unlike all the whites crawling out of the woodworks to defend Brian with no other information I’m going to wait on defending him until I see what replies he actually got
