After people who were mad at Kamala for her position on Gaza withheld their votes, are now complaining about what Trump will bring? Kick rocks. I don't care anymore. We fought so hard to elect someone who at least wanted to push for a two-state solution. Trump wants only one state to remain at the end of that war, and it sure won't be a Palestinian state. We fought. You went ahead and voted this nutjob into office. When Gaza ceases to exist, it's on you. I care from a humanitarian standpoint. My heart breaks for the people of Gaza. I'm sorry so many of their own people voted to eradicate them. But the war in Gaza, sending humanitarian aid to Gaza, pushing for a ceasefire, etc... is no longer something I will focus on or advocate for as we move into this 2nd Trump term. My energies instead will be focused on domestic policy surrounding the environment and LGBTQIA+ protections here at home. Sorry, Palestine sympathizers, but for myself and a lot of the Democrats I've been talking to, the situation in Gaza is an afterthought now.

The people of Gaza do not deserve what will happen to them under Trump.

But the democrats who abstained from voting over Gaza? They deserve to watch it happen. And to know that any hope of moving towards a two-state solution is dead because of them.

The ones crying out loudest against the genocide are the ones who have doomed the Palestinan people to it. And make no mistake; Gaza will be nothing but a memory 4 years from now.

And they took America down with them.
