Steve’s hands are everywhere, stroking down his arms, carding through his hair. He slumps into the warmth offered, skin against skin.
“Shush,” Steve whispers, and it’s only then that Bucky recognizes the frightened sounds escaping his throat. He’s not scared, is he? Why would he be? Steve’s here. “It’s alright… I’ve got you.”
They rock back and forth, the motion turning Bucky’s focus to something syrupy and slow.
He blinks, the world darkening between one moment and the next. Steve brushes fingers down his brow, fluttering feather-light over his eyes and the bridge of his nose. “Sleep. We’ll try again.”
The rhythm of Steve’s heartbeat against Bucky’s chest is steady, a metronome that guides him back to calm.
He closes his eyes and…

If Bucky’s face no longer has any features, a blurry black and white watercolor of a memory, and Sam is reduced only to the shadow of wings sprouting from his back, then Peggy is only a smear of red and Tony a blast of brilliant light and Steve's not forgetting them, he’s not.
He’s never hallucinated himself before. Maybe that’s how he knows the figure is real.
He’s Steve. From the cut of his hair to the way he fills out the black jumpsuit stretched across his shoulders.
He’s not Steve. Not any version of himself he recognizes. The face might be the same, the body… but his eyes. There’s a bright, unhinged madness in his gaze that Steve knows, even after forever trapped in the nothingness, has no reflection in his own.
He stares at Steve, head cocked to one side. Behind him, a doorway of light flickers brightly enough to make Steve’s eyes burn and water. “I’ve never met another me before,” he says, sounding curious.

Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: Captain America - All Media Types, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (TV) Rating: Explicit Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings Relationships: James "Bucky" Barnes/Steve Rogers Characters: James "Bucky" Barnes, Steve Rogers, Sam Wilson (Marvel) Additional Tags: Identity Issues, Rough Sex, Angst and Hurt/Comfort, Bucky Barnes Needs a Hug, Betrayal, Post-The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (TV) Season 1, Multiverse, Mistaken Identity, Unhealthy Relationships, Consent Issues, Multiverse Steve Rogers, Cliffhangers Series: Part 1 of Bring the lions out Summary:
The man in the doorway blocks out almost all the light from the hallway behind him. His memories of Steve post-Insight are so rare, so precious, so easily blurred into memories of before, that it’s hard, sometimes, to remember just how big he became after the serum.
Half cast in shadow, he’s a physically intimidating figure, one Bucky knows all too well can and will beat him in a fight. He should be on edge, afraid, because Steve is gone. He’s gone, he’s dead, and there’s no possibility of him standing in Bucky’s apartment, uniform bloody and burned, the pale skin of his jaw covered with at least a week’s worth of facial hair.
But Bucky is weak. And it’s Steve. And if anyone is going to kill him, he prays it’s someone with those blazing blue eyes.
“Bucky?” Steve sounds gutshot, and maybe he is under all that blood. Bucky knows every expression on that beloved face, every one but the last one he wore before using the Time stone. Now he looks at Bucky like there is something broken inside of him and Bucky is his only hope of putting the pieces back together.

And then they say that Steve is stronger than Bucky. That his serum is stronger, I don't see that here. He looks like he's doing his best.
goat fight. non-negotiable.

at this point I don't think even Marvel knows.
Question: Why does Bucky have his old Winter Soldier gear in Thunderbolts*?
He has the Skorpion vz61 (which he also holds in the poster) plus the back harness.
And he has the belt, including the knives in the back and the grenades for the M4A1
And obviously, he's also using the modified FN Mk 13 that shoots disc-shaped grenades/explosives which he used to blow up Fury's car in TWS.
(Gif credit: @sebastians-stan )
So, did Bucky raid an old Winter Soldier supply cache, assuming Hydra had doubles of everything for him? Or is it his old gear?
