The best part of MAWS is that they made Clark Kent a sweetheart—he’s kind, sensitive and has all around golden retriever vibes❤️It’s been so freakin’ refreshing! He’s the heart of why this show is so well done. I will always root for emotional and sensitive portrayals of men! And I love love how the newest episode showed how aware the creators are—aware of the strength of writing Clark this way. Lois literally said that his heart is what makes him strong. If we can have a man’s super power be his loving, kind heart, then that IS the most “super”man we could ask for. And it’s why I find this version of Superman the most attractive and well done. All the love for this show!!

Plus the romance and humor is ridiculously good for a “kids” show!

I am of the firm opinion that My Adventures With Superman is probably one of the best superhero TV shows (or, at the very least, one of the best Superman TV shows) because amazing writing, character chemistry, comedic time, etc. etc.

But even if it wasn't, this show would have me hooked just because it contains so many easter eggs and is very good at revealing known characters and common bits of lore at the right time and with the right dramatic effect.

So no matter what, my easy to please brain is just going 'ohmygod ohmygodohmygod its the THING the thing that i KNOW ABOUT from my COMIC BOOKS" or "OH OH!! It's a PERSON!! A person that i RECOGNIZE!!"

the ending of that doctor who episode was so good, acting wise

ncuti going from desperation trying to save people who dont want to be saved by him, to laughing in disbelief, to screaming in rage, to just standing there watching with tears running down his face

and then millie as ruby just standing off to side quietly sobbing through all of it, trying to comfort him but not knowing how to and just leaving him to process how he needs to

Ok but why is no one addressing HOW this is the most Percy thing we’ve ever seen on a screen!! I seriously feel like I recognized him as an old friend— the Percy who I knew and would make me laugh when I read the books as a middle schooler with ADHD. They get serious props for this scene! It warmed my heart❤️
